five beats in the background of of the isaac videos we're gonna try it for this episode um i i probably will go back to normal in the next episode normal isaac music uh but let's try it out for this have ourselves a hell of an item that i did not expect to have uh when we loaded in but you know what that's okay what's this power cola speedo neto kill enemies to stack speed speed resets if you stop damage enemies by running into them though that's interesting that's interesting um i will probably not try that actually but i appreciate the weirdness of it for sure just because i feel like running into enemies as well oh my god dude we are actually our freaking need for speed right now holy crap so you're telling me i could run into an enemy and that it will uh it'll it'll do stuff huh it'll damage them also this speed bite [Music] it lasts a while is this not i swear to god we had this didn't we maybe we had a different item that was a similar idea but ever so slightly different i don't know um but we're we're very fast now and it's making me i mean it's making me feel like i'm i'm sanic the freaking huge hog let me tell you oh dude this song's actually like this song is certified banger i'll be the one to tell you it's a certified banger also i i hated the implications of this entire boss attack um so spam appears more the more you have let's let's become a spam only run today um todd dude permanent curse of the lost and curse of darkness for double damage i'm gonna tell you this is the greatest item in the game it's actually like it's so good curses can only be removed by size ups okay you know what i'll do it i'll do it just this once i'm gonna crank the gamma for you guys this is this is the highest i can make it for you um i do it because the damage we're gonna have is absurd it's so freaking like dark bright and it's terrible we'll try to get some size upgrades so that you guys can actually see uh and then i will try to remember to to up the brightness in post too but i'm i'm very sorry you cannot turn down double damage in isaac like it's a disturbingly good item um and it it probably i'm gonna be real it probably should be nerfed i i don't know which mod it's from but it probably should be nerfed because it's it's actually too strong um [Music] but for right now uh it's in the game so guess what uh your boy is gonna abuse it because that's kind of what we do i did not want the speed down downhill though you coward i want this thing uh thing restock okay we we keep keep the keep the vibes lo-fi and chill there's no need to get angry at running into a pill [Music] how how could we ever get salty about an isaac run when we when we're vibing this heart it's the ideal situation pretty fly a beautiful pill there's there's no issues with a pretty flat pill um a lot of people look a lot of people ask me you know tyler why do you pop pills in the game uh and it's it's actually a pretty easy answer because they're in the game right um is it intelligent to pop pills and isaac if you're trying to win absolutely not right absolutely not but um you know am i trying to win yeah i'm trying to win but is it is it life or death if i if i lose my streak at you know four or is it three four i don't even remember what episode we're on um no who cares who cares dude i'm here to have a good time and play some modded isaac um and and just enjoy your guys's company in the comment section in the future uh and and chill if i die then you know what we had a we had a fun time right we had a fun time popping pills but most of the time pills they ain't gonna kill you and if you think they're gonna kill you you you've been fed a a series of lies by other content creators because like yeah they're bad but uh one tears down ain't gonna you're just gonna be better if you have it spawn in a celestial berry in every room collecting the berry grants plus 1.5 damage for the room i am we are celeste now boys and girls last episode where baba is you this episode we celeste we celeste okay dude i'm i'm surprisingly with this uh we just played celeste on stream uh and it was a glorious time it's an incredible game celeste give me that berry give me that berry and enjoy your your damage up and now we also have golden bombs which are going to provide me with the ability to sneak into uh various secret rooms open up pots open up freaking everything i am already over the moon excited because your boy is going to snag uh some some good benefit out of this we have been to the secret room i believe though so this is a little bit um this was the starting room so down from here is the item room it's going to be next room over below yaya yaya he remembers experience part killing enemies oh baby yeah okay is isaac rpg killing enemies gains isaac xp it is isaac rpg you never thought that they would come how do i make a thumbnail for a video where i am both playing celeste and i'm playing isaac rpg we have too many exciting things to choose from there is our secret room and you know what this attaches to the shop on the north am i crazy or is it on over here is this a shop it's not the shop where the heck's the shop the shop is on the far other side right i should have just gone back through the secret room or is the shop sorry it's right here okay take this and then a special wheel of fortune that teleports us to an arcade i'm also going to take locust to famine over the all-in ship but you know what no we don't actually need it so i'm audi we're in an arcade though let's go bomb bomb so far so kind of useless bomb and i mean look it's it is what it is not exactly the the greatest shop in the world but it gets the job done and this ended up being a pretty decent floor our speed is back down to uh to one because we've been doing a lot of uh extraneous exploration we didn't need to this is down from here but you know what super secret room is existing on this floor or in this room somewhere is it up here is it not here actually how about over here how about over here it's right there i heard it okay i didn't hear it because the music is off um and apparently that counts as a music related thing um it's still weird having having lo-fi isaac baby but you know what uh we're we're gonna make it work we're gonna make it work let's head down let's head down and i'm feeling good i'm feeling very good curse of darkness continues is gonna be here for the rest of our freaking life um but i leveled up let's get we gotta oh no we got a damage up because of the celeste berry not a damage up because of our abilities although like this experience bar is crazy fast dude i also feel like the celeste berry might be giving us xp which would be disturbingly powerful mind you dude and the sound being the celeste berry i mean how can you be upset that's that's some incredibly that's some as the kids would say that's some incredibly pogged up stuff there thank you for blood bag uh it is not a size up but it is a a large speed up so that's whatever i guess it like actually kind of i don't care but we'll we'll humor it for the time being how am i gonna i suppose like pills are your best way of getting us a size up so let's let's try to pop as many pills as possible and hope that we get a one makes you larger or actually like the puberty transformation i think makes you bigger speed down pretty fly and retrovision okay i will also i mean we don't have any tiers that do extra stuff so i will actually ah we can't get that buried yeah we look i tried i tried but we would have been we would have been a little hurt a little little hurt boy if i went for that so it's a no for me also the the stat upgrades from just like playing the game is disturbingly good it's disturbingly good how how can you be upset about like just getting more stats over time for the frick of it it's a wonderful situation so key bum i'm gonna tell you uh it qualifies as like a crap item there there's no redeeming quality to keep them um dude just straight up steals your stuff but i'll take them anyway because i enjoy the finer things in life that's an infested pill i don't need to waste my money on that we will we will leave come back in the future i don't even know what hit me there um blind rage i don't care about either what's the pill what's the pill one makes you larger why are there like 8 000 i mean there are two different infested pills to be fair um and we got both of them [Music] so they ain't that exciting but that's okay let's you know what because i can i missed it i bet that's a super secret it was i'm upset okay so the chariot's fine um not something that's going to make a huge difference on our run also holy crap that was uh some fast kills we go down i will never ever ever heck out of here i'm i'm actually i'm i'm pretty pleased with the run um i know that it we slowed down on the power a little bit you know it was it was extremely strong at the beginning um and it's we we've slowed down a bit but i'm i'm still pretty pleased with where we're at on this one you know seven rate of fire 10 damage and then tristation being this freaking good is really giving us a little bit of an easy boy today uh but i'm i'm okay with you know every once in a while you don't want to have an easy run every single time but i am i am not upset about a couple of easy runs it's actually um it's a very different time of day for me right now than what i normally record and normally like my recording schedule is you know i'll finish work at five o'clock because i basically work in eight to five um and then i'll move from one side of the room to the other because i work from home because of covid um so there's no no commute or anything so i'll i'll basically roll my chair to the other side of the room and then sit down and i'll record for for an hour and a half or so uh enough to get two or three videos done normally too right um isaac and spelunky like to like to make the videos a little bit longer than i would sometimes wish for them to be speed downgrades are not what the rock is cooking whether or not you can smell it is a different story i suppose but um today i i ended up i was on a call until like six so i i did not have time to record at my normal time slot so then i had to eat dinner uh and then now i'm recording now and it's it's like 8 30 at night which is very late for tyler we're also like maybe in a position where we could get boss rush on this run which is is kinda whack because i never ever get get boss rush or hush in this series dude we're so freaking strong and we just keep on getting more stats from this xp bar just like good night tape for me it wasn't even close okay plus one empty heart container minus one red heart [Music] who cares oh i mean that was not what so it's an hp up but it takes away the hearts inside of the hearts is that is that what we're doing here it's a strange item i i suppose it's fine it's not something that i will go to sleep tonight thinking about oh my god bacon grease was so cool [Music] it's kind of just uh it's existent here i will take my strawberries damn it if it's the last thing i do i will take my freaking strawberries okay i didn't take the strawberry that time i don't know why i'm so stupid and i can't remember to actually pick it up so socks are incredible like just a disturbingly good item uh these allow you so it's spike immunity right but on top of the spy community that also means that we are oh my god it means we're getting our ass kicked is what it means it means that we're immune to curse rooms now too which is is crazy good i also see this black rune and i'm like maybe we can make something work what this did we find our item room why do i not remember our item room i went in here and we can now do that for free which rocks um what's down here so we did go to our item room i don't remember what the item was so uh i guess it didn't make that big of an impact on my life unless it was the experience no you know what it was was it key bum no you know what it was fate's reward that's why i just don't care about it at all okay well you know what i'll keep the black rune uh i know that the full card could be used as a teleporter you know what no go go back for a second we're not done because there is still a challenge room right here and like a hundred percent this is possible oh you freaking those always have items in them and you do me i'm very upset i'm very upset now that i will go to sleep tonight going how did the game betray me and i i will be i'll be pissed for the next 46 to 47 hours not two days don't be don't be ridiculous okay we'll we'll still keep blackroon though um i know the full card could be used to get us out of boss rush but in my opinion um the black rune is going to instead just provide us with um kind of kind of the ability to do some some plays come on come on why i just want a one that makes you larger pill make me big so i can hit enemy please and see see enemy once more and mainly so that the audience can see because i'm not actually affected by the darkness i don't really care but the audience can't see the freaking video dude a bunch of cowards how about a secret room why do those deal damage they like never deal damage why do they deal damage now [Music] i don't know why give me an item that i don't want so i can and we leveled up yet again it was a tear delay down when we leveled up how in the world can you even remotely be upset about that that is like so disturbingly good i think this experience item is actually just like one of the best in the game and i mean that sincerely like it's just free stats from playing the game what what an excellent item okay we continue my my strawberry's in here somewhere i think we missed it i never saw it maybe i picked it up i don't know it's so dark i you know can't see you can't see where the the items are there's my strawberry the thing is like the flight is legitimately useful in these rooms because now you know like this sucker over here although i suppose they did just open a path for me um but any other time okay i mean just just do that and that's actually it's it's kind of a crappy black rune because we just got shot speed and range out of that which is fine like it's better than the item but there's a part of me that's like what wouldn't i rather have like any anything else you think there's anything in here okay well you know what can i say sometimes in life random luck um [Music] helps you out more than anything else [Music] okay so i mean we don't really care about magic fingers as much as i would love to to rock it it's a weird crawl space i i'm trapped i'm trapped because we had flight dude that sucks that i what would be a really good item on this run i would love to see lump of coal [Music] you know we we've got some some really decent range on this run lump of coal to pair with this uh to get that that little bit of extra damage like a devil deal right here with a little bit of a krampus fight i would not complain in the absolute slightest i would be i would be super pleased so what do you got for me is not um and this is familiar that shoots fire and dark bun [Music] uh people people like dark bum a lot i think dark bums like incredibly overrated um but that's fine i'll take them oh that's interesting so we lost maybe experience when we picked up items no you know what it is it's yin yang since we're pushing closer to evil by taking devil deals we lost the all stats up is that i think that's exactly what happened your boy's a freaking detective i don't know why i put on like a a bad jersey accent for that your boy's a detective that's not even good either okay maybe maybe don't do in the mirror and realize but um it was a strange meal because it was essentially like vietnamese spaghetti and meatballs right so you had this this vibe that you were eating italian food but then you would bite into it and the the taste is you know obviously extremely asian in its taste which was it was an interesting combination uh that i i actually think was a true true delicacy okay so thanks still doing fine and we're we're like one upgrade away from from truly kind of popping off i think are we or is is this our peak this might be our peak on this run i'm gonna hope not because i think that like one more upgrade could really go a long way for us i am very happy that i did not get hit in this room because i felt like i probably should have he also slowed down at the end there please rune is probably our secret weapon to beat um i was about to say to beat hondon jesus criminy i got way too much spelunky two gameplay inside my head recently get be beating the eggplant king the other day kind of uh oh my god it got very dark for uh about a split split second and a half there weird run weird run so these are like all great eve's nail polish is great i don't know what fiend horn is but sure and then lusty blood is obviously also fantastic um this allows our rate of fire to go crazy with eve's nail polish because every time we hit an enemy our our rate of fire goes up which is uh very good i'm still trying to figure out like sometimes it feels like our damage is absurd and then there's other times where i'm shooting and it's like just kind of like i'm i'm chucking marshmallows at the enemies i can't be the only one that has noticed this on this run and it's like we're still fine and we'll win with with relative ease but it's just kind of it's inconsistent it's very weird like with 14 damage we should be kind of just straight bodying everybody in these rooms that guy's freaking invincible and that's a mimic and just to prove my dominance over it you punch me and then see how much i care not in real life because i would care actually a lot if you just punch me in the face in real life that's going to be a lexicon 2024 is just everybody's gonna come and you all get shot to punch me in the face if i'm not bloody bruised and almost dead by the end of the con then it wasn't a success uh let's just dump some rocks down i mean it's weird we just spawned a bunch of enemies um do i consider that to be a success in that room then that's a good question i don't know i don't know what i was expecting maybe a crawl space we did we definitely did not get a crawl space okay you guys are are having a grand old time we also have like a bomb beggar here he's dead okay never mind and we got teleport 2.0 wow they really go into detail about how teleport 2.0 works huh that was a surprising amount of detail actually plus .25 shot speed multiplier and tears deal more damage the faster they move um so it's weird right because this is actually like it's terrible for trusteon so we're actually kind of we're in a state of anti-pog taking also do i take damage anymore because it kind of feels like i've been hitting enemies getting hit by enemies and they just don't deal damage to me so we we might be just invincible i don't know i don't know the implications of how these things work um like i definitely got hit there and i took no damage i don't think i don't know it isaac's a weird game right it's hard to really understand pretty much anything that occurs in this like i'm i'm happy to to get this blue baby fight over with then we'll go find mega say we're we're having a grand old time good night oh dude we did take damage okay maybe i'm just crazy maybe i'm just freaking crazy am i crazy i might be also to those that are saying you know dude teleport 2.0 error room reset the floor uh i don't believe that works anymore and by i don't believe it works i do think it actually works does it work i don't remember look we don't need the we don't need to loop this we're good we fought mega satan that's that's my extra good deed of the day uh it's a 45 minute run that's good enough we we got some low fight beats today trying out new stuff uh we had a good run we vibed we chilled and we advanced the streak to three or four maybe it was even five i don't remember you think i would remember i think we're at this brings us to five which is a good number dude that's a great number five is very exciting i also am spawning a lot of themes and they are they are going ham dude like a bone in a easter soup okay mega satan get fricked loser is
