[Music] Billy Joel Serena the Uptown Girl herself Christy Brinkley where really can I see yeah that's the piano man singing his 1983 hit to his ex-wife at his soldout Madison Square Garden residency show in NYC on Friday Christy all smes in the crowd as Billy belts out the song which he wrote for her back in [Music] [Music] 1983 Billy Jo fantastic wasn't it the former couple was married from 1985 to 1994 and 30 years later it's all good [Music] vibes I think that the reason that Billy and I were able to maintain our friendship was because of Alexa you know we made a conscious effort to say you know we've got a daughter that's going to hold us together forever and so um and uh so we were respectful of each other and you know you you can't find either one of us saying a bad word about the other you know uh we just never went there like it's the kind of song that I don't know one should sing to their hero and um so it seems spitting you AR my hero dad believe it we love you Alexa Billy and Christy's daughter 38-year-old Alexa made an appearance at the soldout show singing a few songs with her dad on [Music] stage proud mama Christie documenting the whole thing on her Instagram stories good energy Good Vibes also at the show Christy's daughter with X Peter Cook 25-year-old sailor the two singing along to Billy's most famous [Music] hits like we just had so much fun 's decade long residency at MSG ends in July after his 150th show but the singer told ET earlier this year it doesn't mean it's goodbye forever well I never said I'm never going to play the garden again it was just in this particular run of the residency that's the end of that for now we could do the garden again I could play other venues in New York where I haven't played for the last 10 years so it opens up a whole new world [Music] Earth
