on this expedition</i> <i>have just scratched

near hold number 6.</i> <i>We believe that we can access
the gold chamber</i> through those double doors. We have to take a look at them. We now want to see
the starboard side and see what these
double doors look like, 'cause there may be access
into our specie room location. This would be the start
of the route to the gold. - Yep.

the area where I expected

We need to check that. <i>♪ ♪</i> - This trip, we now have
different problems. <i>♪ ♪</i> <i>But the operation
was successful</i> in that we acquired
more information. <i>♪ ♪</i> <i>We've examined
the starboard side.</i> [gas hissing] - They're saying
right now starboard side is kind of a waste of time. - I think so. <i>♪ ♪</i> - There is no access to the gold
chamber on the starboard side. - Port side's gonna be
the next target, I guess. - Yeah, exactly. - Now we're gonna look
on port side. <i>♪ ♪</i> <i>You have to gauge your decision

to Mr. Robotti,</i> when he said, you know,

I thought it prudent</i> <i>to tape-record

the FBI involved. And it was-- everyone considered it
a domestic situation. It wasn't their family.
It wasn't their children. You know, what legal options
did I have? It wasn't their family.

of umbilical that I had left, I could only get

is an expensive proposition. We are spending thousands

on the bow rope and be slacking slowly

mooring lines into the wreck. <i>It's not a good situation.</i> <i>Another little chat

approximately $150 million. They raised a war bond
to fight that, and that war bond now required
to be repaid in 1909. <i>♪ ♪</i> <i>When the "Republic" sank,
the rumors circulated.</i> The governments neither
confirmed nor denied the rumors. That is the only choice
they had. <i>♪ ♪</i> <i>So we have $800,000
of Navy money,</i> <i>$3 million in Russian gold,</i> <i>negotiated by Gregory Wilinken,</i> <i>all being shipped aboard

splash a diver to 270 feet <i>is to make sure that we're

to get these anchors unfouled. So we got plan A
is get the ROV in the water. - Good.
- Yeah, good. - They got the manipulator on it
so that if we do have to... - Just in case. - Then we can grab the line
and swim it around. - Maneuver it.

on the wreck,</i> <i>the umbilical's gonna break,</i> and we lose a $500,000 piece
of equipment. <i>This expedition cannot afford

with perfect precision,</i> the ROV could cut the line,
