To be fair, it is not exactly difficult to take apart the story of Noah's Ark.
"Extraordinary" is the nicest euphemism I've ever heard for "bullshit."
Have they not heard of inbreeding? A pair of animals is not viable. See lions of ngorongoro crater.
I really hate this whole "destroys" thing. I was hoping for a video where Bill Nye planted explosives all around Noah's ark and set them off while laughing about the impending extinction of all landgoing life on Earth. Instead I got a clip from the recent debate that we all watched a couple months ago.
I'm more sad that a mind like Nye's is wasted on debunking obvious and evidence-free idiocy from some old magical book.
Its sad that he needed to do this, you'd have to be a fucking idiot to believe in the ark story. I'm sorry Christians, you're probably really nice people in your day to day lives, but if you believe this story actually happened, you're an idiot. And furthermore if you dont think god is a sadistic psychopath for doing it, remember there would have been children and babies drowning in that flood, mothers in the process of giving birth too, then I find your morals very questionable.
Where can I find the whole thing?
I doubt any religious individuals were swayed by the points brought up in this video though.
The whole point of biblical stories like this is that they're acts of god. There is no logic. Everything is through the will of an omnipotent being. That's where the heart of this debate is.
Finally someone found a flaw in the Noah's arc theory.
