okay so the Ryan Garcia fight how did that initially come together um you know what we talked to Oscar about making it happen shout out to Oscar Del La Hoya for making the thing happen Two fighters in their promt great fight big event and um you know that's what Devon sent me on a job to go make that fight happen and that's what we did well was that fight the biggest payday of Devon's career um we're wait still waiting on the numbers to come in so uh they say it is but you know we got to see when those numbers hit the account it takes this long for them to put the numbers together yeah seems like someone's uh dragging their feet a little bit no they said you know no they no it's a 30-day report they get 30 days fair enough 30 days I instant you know the digital world where you it's been yeah it's been a week or so you know what I mean week two weeks so that fight gets announced yes and Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney actually faced each other six times amateurs yes how did those six times go 3 three they went 3 three aha okay which hey when you have 33 is it's you talk about it when it's 3-3 but when you have this seventh one which was the game sign the one that has decided we don't talk about the 33 right now he's up 1 and the pros and we want to get it back okay we'll talk about that we'll talk about that so so when it went 33 how old was Devin uh they went back and forth they had been they had been fighting since they were kids probably 9 10 years old they've been fighting since 9 years old 10 years old yep 9 10 wow so this is a long history Ain't No Doubt ain't no doubt I didn't realize it was that long ago so they came up and then what from they they fought at N9 then they fought what 11 12 14 15 yeah they just kept on fighting you know what I mean all the way until the pros okay and were was Devon uh winning championships during that time yeah they would always end up at the either the finals or something like that they would they would fight oh so they be fighting for the championship for the Championships yes okay so the fight gets announced mhm and then a sparring session ends up leaking out the the Devon Haney tank Davis that's the when that Floyd leaked out is that who leaked it out didn't he isn't that what they said did you hear about it VL did I heard about it but there it's kind of gray area in terms of who leaked it out okay it's kind of gray to me too so I I you know I heard that uh Floyd leaked it to to Ryan Ryan had said he had got it from him but who knows you know what I mean I know that Floyd was actually in Ryan's Corner helping Ryan through throughout the fight and I knew that I know that the two LBS or three lbs that they decided to come up with that would be an advantage for Ryan um you know what I mean they came up with that together I know I've seen a picture where Floyd did the number three or something like that um you know so who knows man who knows okay you and uh Adrien Broner were going at it Adrian me and Adrian wasn't going at it he had to take what I said and I still say the same thing my son is going to get you Adrian for talking crazy to his dad like that okay is that fight actually gonna happen I don't know if it's going I don't know if it's GNA happen or when it's going to happen but it got to happen because uh he's out of pocket now he just got to hang on cuz we know what our performance was right we know how the people feel Adrian you listening to me Deon is going to take care of you for that [ __ ] that you done said to me one day it's going to catch up with you well some footage came out with uh Devon and Shakur and uh I guess you said that Shakur Stevenson actually quit it was a spar it was a sparring session you know they have been sparring um since they were kids you know what I mean as well you know what I mean and uh I think it was a tape a legendary tape of me telling Shakur that the Gap had gotten closer and closer and closer uh with Devon um and him sparing to whereas there wasn't any Gap and everyone had seen a tape that was floating around of Shakur and Dev and they said that it was even and the sporing some people liked it Devon some people liked it Shakur you know and I told him I said one day in the pros it's going to happen and it's going to be red hot when it happens right okay so is that in the works as well might be might you know what I'm saying it might be okay
