BEYBLADE HISTORY OF SPIKE LIZARD

hey guys welcome back for another video today we're going to be talking about Spike lizard this is a Coro Coro exclusive it's pretty interesting it's got sort of like a camo theme to it it has rollers on the attack ring and the blade base this is used by hikaro in the manga it is a character that daichi runs into during his travels during his training uh pretty interesting character who we're going to go over here in a minute but yeah the Beyblade itself is sort of vforce era so it does have a magnicore included as well uh overall the Beyblade's not amazing but uh it it's it's interesting and I like the aesthetic of it so today we're going to talk about it so before we catch up To Dai the town that he is about to enter has a poser of daichi beating people and stealing their Beyblades so daichi doesn't know about this yet but he is about to show up into town he's pretty hyped looking forward to finding new Bladers but unfortunately things do not go his way so all the kids in town have fought this poser daichi and when daichi actually shows up they think it's the same person so they capture him daichi has no idea what's going on he's super confused but thankfully the last kid who had his Beyblade stolen is able to show up and sort of clear daichi's name he's like oh yeah he kind of looks like him but this isn't the same guy so dai's obviously pissed off so at this point he's like I'm I'm taking this guy down there's only one of me like I got to find this guy so luckily for Dai this character ends up showing up one of the kids comes and like yo the dai's at the park we got to go get him meanwhile Dai is like literally right in front of them so Dai ends up challenging this character and he agrees that he'll give it back but only if he beats him so daichi and this mystery poser character end up fighting meanwhile Hikaru the actual owner of Spike lizard shows up which is the Beyblade that the fake daichi is using at the moment so as it turns out this kid that's been posing as daichi at one point fought daichi and lost and vowed to become stronger than him and that's the whole point of him doing what he's been doing so the kid ends up losing he kind of throws a fit and tries to run off with all the stolen Beyblades but Hikaru like his badass self shows up on his super sick inline skates yes this is like so 2000s I absolutely love it he doesn't even have regular roller blades they're like you know they're like like inline SK like he could grind with the he's basically Sonic the Hedgehog anyway Hikaru shows up he's super cool I really like his character he's like yo you made two mistakes the first was coming to this town the second was stealing my Beyblade as it turns out the Beyblade that Hikaru has been using Spike lizard which his little brother actually ended up stealing which is why it got stolen uh isn't actually finished it's still in development and Dai shocked by that because it was good so Dai and Hikaru end up agreeing to a battle after Hikaru is able to finish development of his Beyblade not only is Hikaru cool enough to ride around on roller blades but he also seems to have a pretty large fan following as well so obviously one of the cool things that bakon Sho does is they will do battles outside of stadiums so in this instance they end up fighting and Hikaru takes advantage of the camouflage theme of his Beyblade and uses it to blend in with the bushes so Dai can't see his Beyblade so in the battle Dai stops relying on his eyesight and instead utilizes his Hearing in order to be able to hear where Spike lizard is so this ends up working out for Dai and he's able to get in a good hit and he ends up winning the battle Hikaru is super impressed and sort of accepts him as a rival but unfortunately dai's strata draon ends up breaking due to the high impact of the battle the wings on his Strat Dron shatter luckily for daichi though hikaro ends up knowing somebody who can help him rebuild his Beyblade and it ends up being none other than Kenny or chief who uh builds all the Beyblades for the blade Breakers so Dai doesn't let this setback stop him and sets straight away to rebuilding his Gia draon and ends up creating g draon v or Strat draon V and while the Beyblade is more powerful Dai is not so he sets out to start training in order to be able to get enough power to be able to effectively utilize his new guy draon so after he's done with his training something bird should probably start doing uh he goes back to challenge Hikaru and he's so strong that upon his launch he absolutely shatters his launcher and while the battle is close daichi is able to clutch up a win he ends up like passing out due to exhaustion but this just like sort of goes to show like how much effort Dai really put into getting stronger he's kind of like a joke character in the anime but in the manga like he puts in so much effort to get better I really wish that they would do this with some of the more recent characters but it is what it is all right with all that being said let's do a couple battles with Spike lizard so we've got the original strata Dron I figured it would be fitting to throw it up against this and then we've got Straton V we will put it up against both do a couple rounds and uh see how Spike lizard does again it's not like amazingly competitive or anything it's kind of a weird gimmick Beyblade but it looks pretty cool uh so let's see how it uh how it does [Music] is a point for G draon surprisingly [Music] we'll give that one to spike lizard as well uh Straton obviously has a issue with scraping just because of how wide it is but uh let's move on to Strat draon V or Gia draon V so this one's uh one of my favorites got a metal flat on it point for strata draon let's do one more [Music] [Music] I think that one would have been Strat Dron I think it was in just a little bit longer but you guys can call that however you want but yeah that is Spike lizard this is a a cool Beyblade I like it it's interesting not particularly expensive to get a hold of if you guys want to grab one uh but uh yeah if you guys enjoyed the video feel
