Bet YOU Can't Mow This! Compact Tractors Can't Do This!!

this is a mess there is a creek down in there somewhere so we're gonna mow here this evening right on this Bank is that what we got going on yeah we let it grow up as much as we possibly could to test this thing out well we'll see this is a pretty big slope as you saw in the other video where we tried to bring Johnny right up there on the steep slope and Christy decided it wasn't such a good idea yeah so I think Vinnie will do a lot better we've got the tough cut on here and so we'll give it a try everything right yeah you can cut it all out so we're with anything yeah we like the landscape so we'll do what we want to do afterwards I like them are you ready for this thing to attack your yard I am so excited folks other than the small amount of practice we had at the ventrac test facility this is my first usage of the tough cut on a slope okay that's still making me nervous and I know the tractor can do it [Music] part of the reason I was nervous is because right below that hill was a creek there was really no forgiveness for a mistake here as I watched this video after several hours experience on the machine I can see several mistakes I'm making oh this actually makes me very nervous I don't know why looks like he might get it stuck well he didn't get it stuck but it did throw out something and he's sliding a little bit okay there's an example right there I've got to keep weight on those front tires to keep him from sliding and I can do that I just didn't know to do so yeah it is quiet especially compared to our tractor yeah I think it would have cut the rest of that tree down but he didn't have any further that he could go actually I think I just didn't have enough courage I think I would have been fine but I was just concerned that I couldn't back out of there you've got to get comfortable with the Machine before you can use it to its maximum capabilities experimenting with different situations like this and going slowly is one of the best ways to become comfortable with what the Machine can actually do as I back out here you'll be able to see that I've already figured out that I've got to get some weight on those front tires I do that by picking up the mower and I have sufficient traction to back right on out what's your thoughts this is amazing yeah I would have definitely thought we would have had to use the other attachment to get that bat stuff down me too I'm crazy yeah yeah the slope meters going off yeah I heard the alarm going off yeah that baby baby okay that made me sick to my stomach watching you well I'll be honest that was pretty tough for me too good I was like please don't go in the Greek I learned a couple things already and I'm certain I'll learn more as we go along but one thing I learned is is I have to have the mower raised up to put some weight on the front wheels before I'm able to get any traction with the front wheels we never saw more than 30 degrees there it beeped a couple of times when I was on thirty I might have been 31 here just a brief instant coming up here but I knew I was right at the top so it wasn't a worry but it still felt pretty scary probably because of the creek yeah you know I knew I was just a step away from being off in the creek and catching Johnny fudging Clifford I definitely thought when you got down there closer to the creek that we'd be using that other attachment I was pretty amazed that you could get in there with this and stay fairly level the whole time so it's very impressive and then there's a currently decent-sized growth down there that you were able to get through pretty easily yeah I think it's cut off I could hardly get down there to give you a second cut but I think it is cut off if not it's pushed over really F we will go in there with a chainsaw on finish you're off we may be able to get out the boom over here and get some of the rest I think for right now I'll start in on this slope in here and see how I can do in here yeah once in a while I just get to where I'm sliding down the hill yeah and it'll do that in the low 20s on the slope meter here sometimes I need a rope to tie me to the house I got your seatbelt on so that's good I do and it's got a roll bar oh it's not gonna roll there was never any concern about it rolling okay I thought I might slide into the creek okay I never felt the least bit like I was gonna run okay there are several items that you can adjust on this machine kind of fine-tuning type items but I didn't know about or at least I didn't understand how to apply when I first got the unit for example there's a weight transfer adjustment we referred to this a little bit in the factory tour that we did at Ventura at that time I assumed it's a gimmick now I realize it's intended to help you put more weight on those front wheels while you have the mower in float position I began to figure this out on later projects but as I watched this video I realized I didn't have that quite yet [Applause] sorry to keep the camera level when I'm on a slope he said the swaps 21 I'm amazed watching the thing how much it can just eat up Laurie just remembered they had a new cable cord I'm glad he hadn't cut it I saw the yellow a little bit but I didn't know what it was I didn't think about it any thoughts about what you're going to do with this slope we are going to basically do some ground clear and start over so we want to utilize this we want it to be open and pretty and it will be I cannot wait whoa I think I need special shoes to be able to follow him around I think he's trying to take out your stuff yeah this tough cuts pretty amazing I'm a I'm just highly impressed with what and it could cut down we've not been here very long at all so knock that out like yeah we have a linear that long that's alright because I guarantee I would have ran over whenever I was out here mowing looks so cool I mean I do we obviously haven't seen it like this trees to come down Phil but it kind of taking some shape back here so now he's gonna put the boom mower on and go back through and get some over the brick wall that they have [Music] [Applause] even there's some vines intertwined in it it's a little hard to see but there's a concrete block wall in there so Tim can't go right down to the ground there's also a bit of a metal fence still left in there growth the camera is doing a good job of it or not but there's just all sorts of vines and their intertwine in there I'm sure they've been there for a long time I can smell something yeah I don't know if it's water I don't know if it looks like there may be a bear I don't know if that's a big bear yeah that would be hard for you to reach how they're over the creek like yeah yeah I wouldn't be able to get to that I mean this let's get a full assault something to deal with the vine is gonna be tough to get and it is really hard to walk on this slope hey it's almost dark already I think we're out of time and out of light we got most of a mode though it looks to me like we got the steep Bank mode and really and I heard you're gonna have these big trees out right that was big dead as you remember them from the first video several people mentioned it in the comments and sure enough they're gonna happen taken out that was a little bit too big of a job for me I didn't think we could handle thanks everybody for watching
