I've used almost every website builder out there for my own businesses I've created dozens of websites and in this video I'll be going over everything you need to know about each of these website Builders The Good the Bad and in what case is best for the whole purpose of this video is to go through these different website Builders tell you everything you need to know about each one and in the end recommend the one that's right because yes everyone's situation and needs are going to be a little bit different now I do want to say that this video is not sponsored no one is paying me to include their company in this video this is just all based on my own personal experiences and recommendations but if you guys do want to help support the channel we are going to leave links to all these website Builders down below and if you use those links it's going to help support my channel so that I can continue making free videos just like this oh and also some of those links are going to get you an even bigger discount than what you can find online so yeah that's definitely a win-win so the first website builder that we're talking about today is going to be wordpress.org this is by far the most popular website builder and content management system out there it is completely free it's open source but you will need some type of Hosting platform to be able to use it yeah with WordPress you guys you can make an amazing website I've been using it for many many years now I can say without a doubt it's one of the most powerful Web building platforms out there if you guys do want to get hosting for your WordPress website I do recommend using hostinger we'll leave a link down below if you guys use that exclusive link and enter in code Charlie Chang at checkout you're going to be able to get web hosting for well under three dollars per month and that's going to allow you to build up to 100 different websites which is just crazy now the first thing I want to say about WordPress is that while it is super popular there is a pretty steep learning curve it's not the hardest but it's not the easiest by far the great thing about WordPress is that it's a no code editor meaning you don't need to know how to code to build a fantastic website yes you can use code to further customize your website but you don't need to know it my favorite thing about WordPress is that it is by far the cheapest way to make a great website like I mentioned earlier it is a completely free platform but you will need some type of website hosting service and those are are as I mentioned super affordable under a few dollars per month one of the best things about WordPress are the plugins available so there are a ton of third-party plugins that you guys can install on your WordPress site and these plugins can help you with SEO adding additional functionality to your website like selling e-commerce items and stuff like that there's drag and drop website Builders within WordPress like Elementor that I do recommend you know when you properly utilize these plugins it can absolutely take your website to the next level there are also a ton of different themes you guys can install on your website and this makes building your websites actually pretty easy these templates basically give you a foundation for your website that you can customize on your own now some of the cons of Wordpress are that it's definitely harder to use than many of the other website Builders we are going to talk about in this video so if you don't want to learn how to use WordPress and you want to make a website really really quickly and then this may not be the best option it's likely that you'll need to spend many many hours learning WordPress you will probably run into issues which require troubleshooting and yeah just not for the faint of heart that being said overall it's a fantastic website builder there are over 60 000 plugins that you guys can choose from it allows you to build any type of website you want from the ground up and if you're trying to build a website that can really scale with your business then WordPress is probably a fantastic choice okay so the next website builder we're talking about today is Wix and Wix was started in 2006 and over the last couple years it's really grown to be one of the most popular website Builders out there one of the best things I like about Wix is it's extremely intuitive interface meaning it's very very easy for you to build a website with their drag and drop editor so if you are a complete beginner and you don't want to really learn how to make a website then Wix can be a fantastic choice they also have a ton of different templates which all look really good in my opinion you can basically choose one of these templates that matches the type of website you want to make customize it and you'll have a professional looking website in under an hour there's also the Wix ADI which stands for artificial design intelligence Wix includes these AI tools that can basically help you create content for your website and design your pages using our official intelligence and if you actually know how to code you can also Implement Wix code into your website which allows you to further customize your website now in terms of their pricing Wix is a little bit more expensive than other website Builders but I'd say it's still pretty affordable so their most affordable plan starts at 16 per month it comes with a free custom domain two gigabytes of storage space a free SSL certificate and more as you add more and more features it becomes a little bit more expensive but one of the best things about Wix is that they actually have a free plan meaning you can get started building your website without actually spending any money now I definitely don't recommend sticking on this free plan since you are not able to use a custom domain and the Wix branding is going to be all over your site so if you go this route you'll definitely want to upgrade at some point but I do like the fact that they allow you to build a website with no upfront fee and give you the option to actually pay later on now in terms of usability I find Wix to be very very easy to learn and use so if you're a complete beginner you guys can probably create your website in under an hour and yeah like I said their drag and drop interface is a extremely easy to use you literally pick things that you want to place into your website and drag them to exactly where you want it to go you can also delete entire sections super easily add new sections using their templates and a lot more they also have e-commerce capabilities so you can sell products through Wix and they also have 24 7 customer service which is really great and Community forms where you can learn how to use Wix yeah in terms of the pros and cons I'd say that the pros are all the things we talked about earlier but there are some cons and the first is that you are sort of locked into what template you're using once you've chosen a template and actually published it it's pretty hard to go back and change it you'll basically need to recreate your website and start over also with their free plan you guys it's better than it sounds yes you can start making a website but if you want to actually publish it and have it be professional then you are going to need a paid plan I would also not use Wix if you're trying to create a really complex website so if you have a big company and you're trying to build out a massive website then this is probably not going to be the best choice I'd rather steer you guys towards WordPress or maybe even webflow and the last con is that it's a little bit more expensive than some of the other options but still relatively affordable at 16 per month so if you are a beginner web Builder and you want to make a website super fast you're down to spend a little bit more money or you just want to test the waters and create a website without actually publishing it to the world then Wix is a great option for that okay the next option we're talking about is the hostinger website builder hostinger was started in 2004 and they recently came out with a really awesome website builder that I actually really enjoy using yes hostinger also allows you to build a website using WordPress they're originally a WordPress hosting service but when you do sign up it does come with their free hosting or website builder now this website builder is pretty similar to Wix it's a complete drag and drop editor meaning it's very easy for beginners to use and hostingers also come up with a lot of really professional looking templates for you you can choose what type of website you're trying to make and then choose the template that matches that industry the hosting your website builder also has a ton of AI tools which can really speed up the website creation process for example they have the AI writer which allows you to write content using their AI we also have ai heat map which can pretty much identify where people are going to look at on your website which helps you put important details in those exact spots and yeah overall it's just a really great website builder that I do recommend now in terms of pricing hostinger is the cheapest option on this list the plan that I recommend going with is the premium web hosting if you guys use my link down below it's going to be under three dollars per month and then when you're at checkout I definitely recommend putting in Charlie Ching as the discount code and that's going to give you an even bigger discount all in all it's like thirty dollars for one year of web hosting and you can make up to a hundred different websites with it it also includes a free domain free SSL 100 gigabytes of storage and you have the option of creating your website with WordPress so yeah while this option is number third on my list this is actually the one that I recommend going if you are looking for a true website builder one that is super easy for beginners but still allows you to create a very professional looking website I recommend going with their 12 24 or 48 month plans that's basically when you get the best deal you lock in this low price for the most number of months and yeah again don't forget to use code Charlie Chang to make it even cheaper in terms of usability and speed hostinger is great their website speeds are fantastic and the fact that their user interface is so easy to use is definitely a big plus I've spent the last couple months playing with the website builder and I really do think that this Rivals that of Wix plus hostinger does have e-commerce options and their customer support is also fantastic so in terms of Pros you know we have their affordability it's super cheap we have the ease of use it's very easy to build a website using their website builder we have their AI tools we have all their different templates and we have our fantastic customer support now some of the cons involve the customizability of their website builder if you're trying to build a super complex website I'd probably not recommend using their website builder instead I would just get hostinger and use WordPress if you're also trying to build an e-commerce website I probably would not go with them there are far better options such as Shopify if you're also trying to move your website in the future postinger doesn't make it that easy so yeah exporting your content can be sort of a hassle there's always limited Integrations compared to some of the other website Builders yeah overall I think the hostinger website builder is a fantastic choice for almost anyone watching this video you have the option of using Wordpress or their built-in website builder it's by far the most affordable option on this list and you can easily build a professional looking website with their Tools in under one hour the next website builder we're talking about is webflow so webflow was founded in 2013 and it's definitely a great choice for professional website designers I would not recommend this platform if you are a complete beginner want a website fast and don't want to learn how to use webflow it's definitely hard to use than some of the other website Builders but it does offer more customizability so one of the best things about webflow is their visual CSS grid this allows you as the designer to have ultimate flexibility in creating a design their Builder also has a super responsive design and they'll basically automatically adjust depending on the screen size of the viewer they also have very solid CMS and e-commerce capabilities now in terms of pricing they do have a free starter plan this is probably good enough to get started but I wouldn't recommend using this for a professional website once you get into their basic CMS and business plans it gets a little bit more expensive at 14 per month build yearly but if you do want to go month a month it starts at 18 per month that's going to basically include a custom domain and the ability to make a very great looking website they also have their e-commerce plans which are separate so these are a little bit more expensive than just having a website it starts at 29 per month build yearly and goes up to 74 dollars per month for the plus plan so like I mentioned earlier one of the big Cons with webflow is the learning curve learning to make a website on webflow is not that easy it's definitely harder than pretty much everything else we're talking about in this video it's probably similar to WordPress but you guys like I said this is perfect for designers because it allows you to build really Advanced designs as well as custom features if you're trying to make a very unique site without learning how to code then webflow is an amazing platform for that that's why a lot of tech companies and startups use webflow for their websites they also have really great customer service they have a ton of tutorials and courses online teaching you how to make a webflow a website so if you are down to learn then this could be a great option overall the customizability of webflow websites makes it a very good platform they have a lot of solid designs but yeah you just need to be ready to learn how to use it alright so the next website builder we're talking about is Shopify and if you guys have heard of Shopify you'll know that it's known best for their Ecommerce platform a majority of small businesses online that sell physical items or digital items use Shopify as their platform not only is it an e-commerce platform but they also allow you to build a very good looking website I've been using Shopify for many years now and yeah if you're trying to sell a product then this can be a fantastic option one of the best things I like about Shopify is that they are built specifically for selling things so if your business is built around selling a product then Shopify is a fantastic choice they also have a ton of great templates making your website a lot easier and faster and the actual website builder itself is pretty intuitive to use it's not a full drag and drop editor like Wix or hostinger but sort of like a hybrid version one thing I'll say is that Shopify does come with a lot of free themes but if you do want to upgrade to a paid premium theme those can get a little bit expensive in terms of pricing Shopify is pretty in line with other e-commerce platforms if you guys actually use my special link down below Shopify is just going to be one dollar per month for the first three months you also don't even need to put your credit card in for the first three days after that their monthly plans start at 39 per month build monthly or if you want to pay yearly it goes down to 29 per month I think this is an extremely fair price for an e-commerce Ford platform like Shopify yeah personally my first e-commerce store I built on Shopify and it made it very very easy for me to start selling items yes there are tons of alternatives to selling products online for example if you want to use WordPress you can use the woocommerce plugin hostinger and Wix they all have built-in e-commerce functionality but if your main thing is e-commerce I would still say Shopify is probably your best bet there's a reason why almost all online stores use Shopify and that's just because it is the best at what it does us okay the next website builder we're talking about is Squarespace Squarespace has been one of my favorite website builders for many years I use it extensively for my photography website but it can really build any type of website you want if you are a beginner website builder and you don't want to spend that much time making your website Squarespace is going to be a fantastic choice one thing that really stands out with Squarespace is their templates they have a lot of really amazing looking templates that allow you to customize a professional looking website with just a few clicks they've also made extensive new changes to their editor over the last couple years which make their platform even better the great thing about Squarespace is that they do have a free trial so if you guys use my link down below you will get a completely free trial to try out Squarespace but their plans start at 16 per month if you pay annually this goes up to 49 per month if you want their Advanced Commerce platform or if you want to pay monthly it starts at 23 dollars and goes up to 65 per month for the advanced Commerce so definitely not the cheapest but also very reasonable with Squarespace you're basically paying for their designs but when it comes to the editor that's also quite easy to use it's not full of drag and drop it essentially allows you to select different content blocks and drag them into your website they also have a pretty powerful blogging platform so if you do want to make a Blog then Squarespace is probably one of your easiest options there are also a bunch of add-ons and Integrations that come with Squarespace and these basically allow you to add a bunch of functionality the platform is not as easy to use as Wix and hostinger but I'd say for beginners it's still very easy to use and in just one afternoon you should be able to build a very good looking website so yeah that's an overview of these six different website Builders I know we cover a lot of stuff but I'd say that for most of you guys watching this video if you are a beginner and you don't want to spend that much time learning how to make a website and you want to spend the least amount of money possible then hostinger is probably going to be your best choice I actually get a pretty small commission from them especially compared to some of the other website Builders but I want to look out for you guys I think that is probably the most affordable option that fits most of you yeah overall you can't really go wrong with any of these options they all have their prones and they all have cons as well hopefully this video gave you guys some clarity and you're able to make a decision on which platform to choose again all the links to these platforms are gonna be down below in the description some of those links will get you the biggest discount that's not available to other people and at the same time you'll be helping to support my channel so thank you so much in advance yeah happy website building you guys it's extremely fun you guys are going to learn a lot and I truly do
