so i'm working on a job in detroit here and uh it's an area that's being um rediscovered um if you will a lot of a lot of house flippers in this area and uh this is actually for a returning customer but i'm going to show everybody how to how to remove staples and what you do is uh set the camera down here got myself a blade this is actually a ice scraper um handle don't have to sharpen it just leave it dull just as it is um you don't want to make them sharp so you can see it doesn't have much of an edge on it so what you do is you see the row of staples along here right along here there's a whole row of staples so what you try to do is go with the grain use your ice scraper to show everybody how this works sometimes you gotta go opposite way you want to try to hit them the way the staples are going this one here as you can see so that these two staples right here see how they're they're bent over and you'll be fighting with those constantly trying to get them out so what you do is watch this this is something that works too 95 of the chance works so what you do is you put your the staples pointing that yeah they were right here ninety percent of the time same here see these are all one half comes out and the other half does not so same thing there put your foot on it you're not going to hurt your foot of course unless you're not wearing shoes but put your foot right on top of the staple kind of bend it over like that comes right out same thing here back over put your foot out hit it comes right out same this is the most effective way to remove staples i've you probably can do it about four or five times quicker than a tack puller or a pair of pliers or a screwdriver very fast and effective so let's see we've got some staples right here too not a very good videographer there we go or right there too and hit it doesn't work every time sometimes i hate when they take a hammer and they bury the staples so that one's stuck sticking up and it's not coming out only one half comes out so same thing here put your put your foot on the edge of it see that came right out same thing here right there comes right now [Music] are out it's all about the technique beats putting behind the knee pads and i'm trying to pull staples anyway hopefully this helps you out so yeah all these staples are all out you can see all the way along the line yeah only took me like five minutes to take that row out or seven minutes according to the clock so hopefully this hurt helps out everybody don't forget to subscribe and uh to my channel all right
