Best Way to Connect 3commas to Tradingview

hello everyone welcome to another trading view tutorial brought to you by prism investors in this video we're going to be going over how to connect your trading view scripts from prism investors.net to your three commas accounts so have you ever used through commons before if you're not let me tell you if you're looking to trade crypto it is a great resource there is a completely free version including a seven day free trial link in the description that can get you started today it is probably one of the most advanced bots available and one of my favorites we're going to be going over exactly how to get this started to trade on the trading view so first we're going to go over here to the left where it says dca bot and we're going to begin building our bot so let's go ahead and create a dca bot we'll then head over to advanced we will select all the information that we want but we'll just start from the top so if we want to trade on binance that's an option we have other options as well and you can always connect your exchanges and if you're curious about that i would suggest contacting three comma support if you're having any trouble with your exchange you can select from the most traded pairs or you can do a multi-pair and select i guess all of them i don't know that i'd recommend this option well let's start with just a basic doze usdt bot we're going to create a longbot we're going to use the quote usdt and we're going to have a base order size of 10 for both next let's go down to deal start condition and we're going to go down to this drop down and select trading view custom signal next we're going to select our take profit target in order to set this properly what you're going to want to do is in your back testing have your percentages set to a fixed percent target and then you can set this to the equivalent target that you did in your back testing i also highly recommend that you consider using the trailing take profit target in this case using a deviation of 0.2 but of course you can set this to whatever you like next go to stop loss and we're going to set a stop loss of equivalent to what we have set in the trading view bot and we'll go look at that in just a moment we'll turn off safety orders because we won't be using those so we'll set that to zero and then we're basically done we're going to go ahead and create this bot you can decide to start the bot on your own time or whenever you like but for now we're just going to leave it as it is scroll down all the way to where you see message for deal start signal click show and then click copy so click on the message and that will copy the message now let's hop over to trading view so here in tradingview we already have a script set up this is the kelpnerworm strategy available at our website prisminvestors.net it's part of our everything bundle for 19.99 a month or you can always access it forever if you want to buy the full version so what we're going to do is click on the settings icon for the strategy scroll down to alert settings we're going to enable new trade alerts and we're not going to use the take profit and stop losses the reason for this is because we are going to be using the proprietary take profit and stop loss alerts system in three commas so it'll be handling whenever we exit a trade we just want tradingview to give us the entries we'll go here to long open trade alert and paste the message that we borrowed from three commas next at the very top we're going to go ahead and disable shorts because we're only enabling this as a long bot now what's interesting though is that with this single script you can in fact create a second bot and then create a short open trade alert for that as well and you can in fact enable shorts if shorting is something you want to do as you can see here our order setting is set to stop loss 2 percent and we have a 1.5 to 1 reward risk ratio which means our take profit target is three percent so in order to keep the trading mathematically sound you want to make sure that your stop loss and take profit targets are the same between trading view and three commas and in this case they are two percent and three percent respectively take profit the last step we're going to need to do is actually a very simple one we're going to create an alert in the top right hand corner click on the alert icon click on the create new alert you can also use alt a on your keyboard to bring up alerts in the condition we're going to select the strategy name [Music] we're going to set it to alert function calls only [Music] you can set it to open ended if you don't want it to end but this does require a trading view subscription pro subscription which you can get by clicking the link in the description you'll then be using the webhook url which in this case is three commas which you can get that from their uh website tutorial or i'll just leave a link of to this in the description so you can just access it quickly you may or may not want to have it playing a sound that is of course up to you but i tend to not want that since i'm not really using it after that click for create and you are good to go your
