BEST VALUE BREAKFAST AT DISNEY WORLD | Ale & Compass Breakfast Review

today we're having breakfast at one of the most underrated best value spots at Disney World I'm talking about alien Compass let's go eat [Music] alien Compass is a restaurant at Disney's yacht club resort they serve breakfast lunch and dinner but my favorite meal to eat here is obviously breakfast any excuse to come to Disney's yacht club resort is a good excuse I absolutely love this Resort it's I think my second favorite and this Lobby is just beautiful I love hanging out in here so we're gonna hang out in here while we wait for our reservation to be called and while I'm hanging out on this cozy couch I figured I'd tell you guys about why I love coming here for breakfast so much and why I think it's one of the best values so they have an option here for 23 dollars you can get a breakfast buffet plus an entree that on that breakfast buffet they have a bunch of like breakfast I guess you could call them appetizers pastries they have biscuits and gravy warm cinnamon rolls croissants danishes granola fruit and yogurt a bunch of stuff like that which of course I'm going to show you guys and then after you get the buffet you also get to choose any entree from the menu and it's only 23 so it's such a good value now of course if you did want to eat it a little bit lighter you don't have to do the buffet it's an option there for you you can just order the entree is on its own but if you wanted to treat yourself that option is there for you too we just got called I'm here with thinker page below if you want to see her video that's what my name is this time Disney with Phoebe and she's never eaten no it isn't it oh my God it's pixie dusted TV but we're here we just got called yeah let's head inside so here's a look at the menu and you can see at the top we have the option for the buffet and like I was saying it includes one entree a choice of a beverage and then all this stuff on the buffet right there for 23 dollars is some cocktails and then here is a look at our entrees and I think I'm gonna go with the one that is the best value I mean I've had the dark chocolate waffle before it's really good I love it I've had the breakfast flatbread before I also really enjoy that but it's not the best value to me the best value would be this crab cake Benedict so I think that's what I'm gonna go with also we're getting a buffet of like all bread and pastries and a lot of the things on here are like carb overload stuff so I think the crab cake Benedict is a good option to get some egg get some seafood in there and you're not just eating bread for breakfast which I would like that but I can't do that today so just to put this in perspective for you guys the crab cake Benedict is 19 so for four additional dollars I am getting all that stuff for 23. the entree the beverage and the buffet we just put in our order for our entrees so now I'm gonna make my way up to the buffet and show you guys what they have here I'll kind of walk you down right here we've got parfaits we have some overnight oats as well some fresh fruit those berries look really good and fresh I can't wait to get into those and then here we have our biscuits and gravy these are cheddar biscuits and then sausage gravy that looks good these warm cinnamon rolls I had them previously when I was here the last time I was here and they're so good so definitely gonna grab a few of those and then back here on this side we just have like assorted pastry so it looks like we've got like a a pound cake some muffins some croissants and then some jams and butters I just got back from the buffet and the only real difference that I'm seeing in the buffet from when I was here pre-covered is that they used to have smoked salmon and bagels on the buffet and they don't anymore that's one of the entree choices that's the only real difference I'm seeing but everything looks great let me show you what I got so I got some fruit up there it looked really good those strawberries in particular looked so good I got a little croissant a cinnamon roll and then one of the cheddar biscuits with sausage gravy and first I'm gonna dive into this biscuit and gravy and the biscuits do have cheddar in them look you can kind of see it in there they look really really good but enough with how they look let's see how they taste I like it the gravy is delicious the Biscuit's a little more dry than I prefer and I wish there was a little more cheddar flavor in there but still delicious would I get another one absolutely do a bite of this cinnamon roll now and let's note that these are served warm which is quite impressive [Music] look at all that cinnamon in there I will let you guys know hot take these cinnamon rolls are significantly better than the Gaston cinnamon roll and the one from Starbucks at Magic Kingdom I think Gaston cinnamon roll is High key so bad and dry and not cinnamony this makes up for that this is a good Disney cinnamon roll I was just eating the fruit and it's all really good it's very sweet especially that pineapple it was really good but now it is time for the croissant I don't know if anyone else's mother does this but whenever we come to Disney there's always obviously croissants on the buffet and stuff and my mom insists on pronouncing it like she is from France and she says like croissant I can't even say it but she says it like that like she's French and I'm like Mom what are you doing me and my sisters always yell at her like you are from New Jersey you should not be saying croissant like that it's crazy but and I know she's watching so I know she's seeing this and she's like my son shut up but we're gonna eat this croissant this croissant not croissant let's I don't think they make this here I'm pretty sure they get this like shipped in but there are a lot of layers it's a it's a basic croissant our breakfast entrees just came out Phoebe went with those dark chocolate waffles they have an espresso mascarpone and a cherry compote I've had them before they are delicious and so so rich I don't I don't think you're gonna be able to eat more than one they're so rich but but they're delicious nonetheless and like I said I got the crab cake Benedict I love an eggs benedict if there's an eggs benedict on the menu I am ordering it comes with breakfast potatoes and then we've got an English muffin with arugula a crab cake a poached egg and then a lemon herb hollandaise and then I also I'm surprising you guys so they let me get a side of one of the other entrees I really wanted to try the blueberry Bacon pancake I'm pretty sure I had it before but I don't remember if I liked it or not so I wanted to get it I thought it was really interesting and I wanted to show you guys and they let me order just one I'm not sure what the cost of this is gonna be for just one pancake but I will let you know for sure at the end but yeah this is just a pancake with blueberries and then some uh pork belly it looks like all over and there's a lot of it and I'm pretty sure this is like a citrus butter because I see what it looks like me some orange zest in there and that butter but everything looks delicious I'm not even sure where to start but I think I'm gonna do the eggs benedict I've got to get that perfect egg crack of the yo for you guys that make sense here we go all lined up for that perfect shot let's see if this yolk is runny oh I mean that was that wasn't as um climatic as I thought it would be here but it still looks really good let's do a bite of the Benedict [Music] definitely getting the Citrus vibes from the lemon hollandaise I love Hollandaise sauce and that crab cake is really nice and crispy the arugula on there it's honestly perfect good eggs benedict while I am really enjoying this eggs benedict I do think I prefer just like a classic eggs benedict better without the crab cake with like your your regular slice of Canadian bacon on there but it is really good I do really like the hollandaise it's very citrusy and while we're on the topic of eggs benedict I want to talk about like my favorite eggs benedict ever so over at the Grand Floridian Cafe obviously at the Grand Floridian they used to have an eggs benedict flight it came with three eggs benedict you got one Lobster one classic and one chorizo it was so good I love especially the chorizo one which they haven't brought back they haven't brought the flight back yet they still have the classic one and I believe they have the lobster one that chorizo one was so good and I loved getting all three I hope they bring that back soon over there I haven't even eaten a full eggs benedict yet I had a couple potatoes haven't touched my pancake or one of Phoebe's waffles that she gave me and I am already stuffed what about you yeah I'm feeling it I'm like halfway through a lot it's a lot of food but it's really nice like you were talking about the richness and I agree but the dry Cherry combo is so nice and helps cut that richness like I'm excited to see what you think of it all right I guess I gotta try it next cutting myself off a piece of the waffle oh where's the cherries you gotta get a cherry on there okay there we go cheers [Music] that is really so good everything works so well together with the cherries all the chocolate the espresso mascarpone cream it's all really good but like she was saying you you like I feel like you can't eat more than one of these especially after eating the buffet like they are so rich and filling that's why we're kind of like splitting a bunch of things it's good to come here and split things so you could try a bunch of stuff they have a lot of really good things on the menu these being one of them but gotta share it because everything is so filling the only other thing I will say about these waffles is that I wish it had more of that cherry combo on there because that is really good um perfect with that dark chocolate but more cherry compo and it would be even better and finally it's time for this blueberry Bacon pancake I just drizzled some syrup on top this is really a ton of pork belly in there should be a good sweet and salty combo all right I've got some butter some whoa some pork belly some blueberry oh I can't even pick it up now all right let's try it this butter is so good it definitely does have some orange zest in there like I thought I don't love it but I'm not um I'm not a huge fan of like sweet bacon like if I have candy bacon somewhere I'm not a big fan of that so no surprise there but if you love that candy bacon Vibe you're really gonna enjoy this I do love blueberry pancakes so not something that I would order again but if you're a candy bacon person like I said you're gonna love this after that pancake I don't think I can eat anything else I am stuffed we only took one trip to the buffet too like it you really get so much food here for such a great value oh also let me update you guys that one single blueberry Bacon pancake that I got was five dollars so not a bad deal at all well that was really delicious and like I said I am leaving absolutely stuff that's one thing if you come here to this Buffet you're not gonna leave hungry and that is truly such a great value if you're looking for a good value very filling breakfast this is your spot and with that we are done with breakfast anytime I have a big breakfast I need to go home and take a nap so I think that's just what I am going to do and let me know what is your favorite breakfast here at Disney world I mean Alan Compass is a place
