what's going on everybody this is living in  Arizona now and today we're going to talk about   the best places to live around Phoenix Metro  for 2023. this is actually a list of 10 in no   particular order but if you stick around to the  end I will give my closing thoughts on this there   are time stamps below so you can click around to  each individual City in the description [Music]   first up is the college town of Tempe now this  is where Arizona State University is located so   you're going to get more young people around here  and it's actually sitting along the banks of the   Old Salt River which has now been turned into the  Rio Salado Lake Tempe has a population of around   185 000 people also known for its concerts dance  shows and comedy as well as a Center for the Arts   in Tempe you can find a Cosmopolitan lifestyle  as well as neighborhoods when you go down to the   downtown area of Tempe you will come to Mill  Avenue known for the famous Mill that is now   a museum but this is why it's called Mill Avenue  and this is where the people go to party and have   a good time the area around the lake has actually  undergone a Remodeling and a modernization it's   a great place to live if you like to do outdoor  activities exercise and just enjoy the outdoors   in general while still living in the city average  rent and Tempe is around a 11.50 per month all the   way up to two thousand dollars per month depending  on the size of your unit next up we're going to   change pace and go north to Cave Creek now this  is actually a high desert town so you're going   to find more land here more acreage but the  prices are going to be double to Triple what   you would get in the city out here you can find  wildlife in your backyard on occasion you'll see   Wild Cats lots of birds coyotes and deer but it  sits at the base of the Foothills so all around   there are many mountains that you can hike and  explore like I said this is more for people who   want a slower Vibe it's about 45 minutes north  of Downtown Phoenix and I would consider it an   old western town they have a Frontier Town and  several different restaurants up and down the   road known as Cave Creek Road if you continue  on that road you'll actually come to a very   high priced area known as Carefree The Cave Creek  Carefree area has a population between 10 to 15   000 and is slowly growing the average median  home price in Cave Creek is around 800   000 to 2 million dollars it's very expensive up  here but it's peaceful and now we're gonna head   down south to the southeast part of Phoenix  called Chandler this is actually considered   one of the best cities in all of Phoenix on  many lists in fact some Publications have   Chandler as the best place to live in Phoenix  if all things are considered because of the   jobs and the Cosmopolitan lifestyle that you  can have right here also the close proximity   to Downtown Phoenix with freeways and everything  for efficient Transit there is no light rail like   you get in Tempe but it still has great freeway  systems making it easy to get around the average   medium home price here in Chandler is going to  be anywhere between 480 000 on up to 800 000 on   average putting it somewhere in the middle of the  list for affordability in terms of Phoenix Metro   some of the large corporations that have large  Office Buildings or corporate headquarters here   tell and GoDaddy a popular neighborhood is known  as Ocotillo so if you're looking for that do some   research on the Ocotillo neighborhood in Chandler  next up we're actually headed towards downtown   Phoenix an area which has noticed a Resurgence  in interest with locals and people from out of   state the reason being is they are Remodeling  and rebuilding the infrastructure in downtown   when exploring Downtown Phoenix start on Northern  Avenue and cruise down Central all the way towards   Jefferson and Washington now somewhere in between  there you'll find several different neighborhoods   and areas to consider living such as Roosevelt  Row where they have new apartment complexes   and condominiums for sale or for rent the average  rental price down here is going to be around 1700   a month on up to 3500 depending on the unit and  the location the average median price for a condo   down here would be around 500 to 800 000 downtown  Town Phoenix is known for its conventions this is   where the Phoenix Suns basketball team plays and  the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team as well   as the Orpheum Theater and other concerts and  comedy shows are available down here with the   Phoenix Art Museum next up we're going to head  to one of the most luxurious and yet expensive   places in all of Metro Phoenix Scottsdale downtown  Scottsdale north Scottsdale all very impressive   areas to explore both for entertainment and  for residential and Commercial Real Estate the   population of Scottsdale is about 250 000 people  with an average median home price around 850 000   per home but they can range all the way up to 2  million and sometimes more especially the further   north you go towards the Foothills Scottsdale  sits just north of Tempe making it also one of the   more active lifestyle cities you will find in the  metro area these are really suburbs to be honest   Scottsdale is also known as the West most western  city which is an interesting name but you can find   that history at Scottsdale Western History Museum  there's also a waterfront down here near the canal   that stretches all the way down which is located  next to downtown Scottsdale which is also known   as Fashion Square mall area or simply Old Town  Scottsdale where you will find plenty of art   down here in this historic Old Town if you're  looking for a more modern area in Scottsdale   consider Kierland or even Beyond there going north  on Scottsdale Road next up we're going to the most   expensive place in Phoenix Metro Paradise Valley  and before they actually started developing this   area they used to consider this Valley actually  very identic or like a paradise that's how it got   its name so you can only imagine why the homes and  the real estate around here are so expensive the   average median home price in Paradise Valley is  around 4 million dollars per home so that's quite   up there also the population is around 12 500  people approaching thirteen thousand it's an   area of Phoenix that doesn't really grow and I'll  let you guess why yes it's the pricing this is   a good place to find some quality Resorts if you  want to be at the foothills of Camelback Mountain   which is considered one of the most iconic natural  landmarks in all of Phoenix Metro but you can see   it's a very peaceful and relaxing Vibe it is in  the middle of the city but you still feel like   you're in the middle of Nature and that's what  makes Phoenix Metro so amazing is how they've   maintained and managed to preserve the natural  environment through Horticulture in most of the   areas of the Foothills the average age of Paradise  Valley is around 55 years old and there's plenty   of golfing and Tennis to be available right  here in Paradise Valley it's not necessarily   a place for young people or renters in other  words there's no nightlife anywhere in Paradise   Valley that I can remember or think of unless  you you're at a bar at one of the resorts which   even then is very low-key and relaxed downtown  Scottsdale is about 15 minutes from here next   up we're going to head down to Southeast Phoenix  to a premier up and coming city that is possibly   going to be one of the best places in all of the  valley in the next two decades Queen Creek and I   say that because it has everything that Chandler  has but it is brand new and modern over the last   building boom over the last population boom in  Phoenix Metro from the last three years going back   over the last five years Queen Creek has  experienced a population boom Going from around 30   000 people pushing well over 60 000 at this point  depending on recent census numbers but you'll see   many new homes being developed out here the thing  is they haven't really built much entertainment   out here just yet because the building boom for  homes has been incredible with the average median   home price being around 545 000 as of last month  now the interesting thing to consider about that   is how the price almost doubled in five years  now we're going to head to another town that   has gained National recognition as one of the top  cities or suburbs in the nation to live Gilbert   now Gilbert has that reputation just like Chandler  and it makes the list many times over and when you   actually visit there you can see why it is a  very intelligently designed suburb in between   Chandler and Queen Creek making it a great place  to raise a family the average median home price in   Gilbert is around six hundred thousand dollars  currently also the population is around 240   000 people downtown Gilbert also being one of  the most popular places to have nightlife in   all of Phoenix Metro if you guys would like we  can make a full video on that exact subject so   you guys know where to go for nighttime fun  I also want to take some time to talk about   this area of Southeast Phoenix you have Gilbert  Chandler and Queen Creek all on the Southeast side   Phoenix and what makes it so impressive is that  it's new and intelligently designed for the future   of Commerce if you go north a little bit you're in  Mesa which we will be talking about here shortly   but this whole area seems to be an area that's  getting a lot of attention with investors for Tech   it might not necessarily be in the area of these  towns always but it's around the rural areas where   they're building some Mega factories now let's  talk about Mesa the interesting thing about Mesa   is an area called Eastmark where they're actually  building what is called the technology Corridor   so Eastmark is a brand new community in Mesa that  you may want to consider taking a look at Mesa is   also interesting because it's the largest suburb  in all of the country with a population of 550   000 people almost 600 000 people live in Mesa  it's also popular with retirees so if you're   looking for an area that's nearby Southeast  Phoenix Mega towns or popular towns like   Gilbert Chandler or Queen Creek without having  to pay the top dollar consider looking at Mesa   if spring training is your thing Mesa as you  covered also this is where the second largest   airport in all of Phoenix Metro is located at Mesa  Gateway average median home price out here is 415   000 and if you look at these retirement homes  they're even cheaper in these in these mobile   home parks also the Light Rail connects to  Downtown Phoenix next up we're going to head   out west to Peoria one of my favorite suburbs  and a place where you can find very affordable   living also with an average median home price of  around four hundred and fifty thousand dollars   it's right there comparable to Mesa it also has a  population of 195 000 people the far northern part   of Peoria actually extends into Yavapai County  one of the only suburbs in Phoenix that is not   in Maricopa County Peoria is also right next to  Glendale now I want to take an opportunity to   talk about West Phoenix because as you noticed  West Phoenix did not exactly make the list as   often as Southeast Phoenix or North Phoenix or  even East Phoenix and I'll explain now so West   Phoenix is definitely more affordable it's also a  very nice place to live in particular around the   Peoria Glendale area if you go out towards  Buckeye or surprise you can find quality of   Lifestyle for affordable prices it's just when it  comes to the best places in Phoenix Metro those   are some things that we weighed out in this in  this living in Arizona now guy so now I want to   take some time to give you my closing thoughts on  everything you need to know and some more details   the area of Phoenix Metro is pushing 5 million  people as of 2023. the most recent census has   us just under 5 million Phoenix the city is about  1.625 million people Maricopa County which is the   county where Phoenix is located is actually one of  the fastest growing counties in the country only   behind one in Texas now there is also something  that I want to point out by the year 2060 there   is expected to be 8.4 million people living  in Phoenix Metro so that is a major Metropolis   that we're dealing with here now in terms of  other things to know about the region they have   Phoenix and Tucson that are supposed to converge  and become one area known as the sun corridor   and by the year 2060 the projection is Phoenix and  Tucson Sun Corridor to exceed 10 million people   one of the things that we're going to need though  is a mass transit system that right now we do not   have we're heavily dependent on automobile traffic  so in my opinion I think we need to consider a   high-speed rail solution between Phoenix and  Tucson if you guys agree let me know in the   comments by the way around Phoenix we have several  reservoirs this one you're looking at right here   is Lake Pleasant North of Peoria there's also  two in east Phoenix north of Mesa called Toro   Lake and Canyon Lake that look just as amazing  now for my final thoughts if I could conclude   everything into one I would say that the top three  places for you to consider with quality of life   raising a family and cost of living these are the  three that you should look at Queen Creek Gilbert   and Chandler and if you enjoyed this one consider  are
