are here in beautiful petco park in east village of downtown san diego and tonight we are going to explore the best ballpark eats at petco park now pectoral park is known as the ballpark around the nation with some of the best food in all of the usa now they really do a great job representing san diego they have places that serve fresh tacos some of the best pizza some of the best mexican food and the best craft beer because we know san diego is really good about the craft beers i do have a special guest or two in this video so stay tuned and we're gonna do a tour of best ballpark east at tesco [Music] park first on the list is grand old barbecue hi how you doing yeah that's me how you doing nice to meet you how are you doing good it's okay yeah yeah of course all right so we're hitting up the very first place for ballpark eats at petco park and this is grand old barbecue i did not include them in my san diego best bbq video because i knew i was going to cover them here in federal park and they are kind of far away from san diego they're over in warner springs which is still san diego county but i felt like it's not close enough trying it out at the ballparks better and i wanted to include it at the best ball parking video so i got the barbecue sauce and i got the brisket sandwich here which is about 1750 comes with fries on this huge plate look at that guys so let's dig into this dig in over here to the brisket sandwich [Music] that's a super good brisket right there fill in the barbecue sauce wow the bread is normal but the brisket is super good and nice and soft there's another sandwich that they have that has coleslaw in it but you know guys know me i'm not a big fool soft fan it's all good grand old barbecue didn't quite make the best barbecue in san diego if i would have made it if i did five places but that last video was 35 minutes long it made it to the petco park geese video and i definitely recommend trying it while you're here let's move on got to get her stuff out on her channel on the ut right yeah on the san diego union tribune so i cover the padres so i'm here pretty much every day and talking to players and getting videos of things like that you guys are like hey she looks familiar it's because she is she's down on first baseline after every game talking to tati stalking the hosmer giving him all the fun questions yeah for you talk a little bit about how many great health options are here in petco park because you're pretty much vegan right so yeah i'm like plant-based or whatever you call it so i don't eat meat or anything like that and i'm here almost every night so you gotta scope out what places you can go to everbowl is awesome you can get a great acai bowl you can have them customize it how you want it but what's so cool about petco park is that they've brought in so many san diego-based restaurants so it's like you go to other ballparks they don't have this but also seaside market i love seaside market you get in there real quick you can grab something healthy you can get out pretty quick so it's a really good option in there too yeah and she's busy she's running up and down press box at the field so she needs to have quick healthy options forever bowl we got the double play which has chocolate strawberries bananas yeah and you know what we're going to have you try it everything we love chocolate strawberries and bananas i'll take the taste you have granola you have bananas you have like lots of yummy stuff good i'm gonna have to try it out the peanut butter is what makes it so yummy in my opinion so there's strawberries granola chocolate and peanut butter and it's kind of hot today so this is like nice and cool and refreshing it's just san diego yeah and there's multiple locations all around san diego want to have it somewhere else you can have it anywhere ever bowl check it out you want to try one more yeah i love it delicious cheers cheers that's really good hey bob crack you've seen that on my cardiff by to see video you've got board and brew you've seen that also in my carlsbad video there's also a place here called wonderland which is in ocean beach and they have an ocean pub and then all this other great beard places like ballast point resident brewing ho dad south norte beer company which i love coronado pizza port they're all here in this alley way right behind home plate they also have kombucha swinging fryer ale which is a padre beer made by ballast point so so many great things to try here that are local to san diego [Music] the reason why that's called lane field lemonade is because the padres used to be part of the pacific coast pcl and lane field which is over by santa fe train depot that used to be the original san diego padres field if you're in the mood for some tacos they do have a puesto here which is popular all around san diego you can find it at the headquarters mission valley and also here in the right field stands now that is randy jones barbecue randy jones is a lefty pitcher from the padres in the 70s he is an all-time great his number's retired here and he has owned randy jones barbecue here at petro park and in qualcomm stadiums randy jones barbecue has been a staple here for years craving more pizza well pizza port is also here and you can pick up some of their homemade brews over there as well so if you like pizza port california style pizza they have it here in the right field stands too another great place that you can find off of india street here near downtown san diego is the blue water grill i want to show you guys a lot of foods that show off san diego's spirit and fish tacos are definitely one of them so we're gonna go in the blue water grill and try it all out so we're here at blue water grill i just found a spot here on the right field fowl side of petco park it's a pretty big taco for 8.50 i forgot i stuffed in my pocket some cholula so let's put the cholula in it so i'm a hot sauce guy yellowtail taco from blue water blue water is really popular it's off of india street here near downtown oh man wow the lime mixed with that yellow tail cabbage in it some tomatoes the cholula sauce is the perfect mixture this is a great fish taco i'm telling you san diego is known for his fish tacos this is freaking worth 850 for sure [Music] so so good guys wow that yellow tail is park they used to be really famous they still are for their garlic fries but over the years more and more local san diego eateries started coming over here looking for garlic fries come over here to gagliombros they used to be gordon beers fries i believe but now it's gaglionbros this place also has some really good cheesesteaks so if you're into philly cheesesteaks they have them too want a souvenir padres helmet you can pick one up with the fries inside it all right it's time for a local craft brew i'm gonna try out south norte beer company which is over in tijuana and i actually have talked to the owner before so shout out to him i got the agave lager a hibiscus lager agave mente is what they call it so cheers this is good it's actually nice and kind of sweet what's up guys really good [Applause] so i'm nursing this beer 15 beer but i wanted to show love to south north day because that brewery is amazing and i do want to go across the border one of these days and actually cover their spot so cheers [Applause] we're in the western middle supply building where you can get special suites where if they hit a home run in the left field aisle you can catch a ball from there they also have a bunch of other food around here like ballpark eats they have the gaglion rose here as well so check out the western metal supply building and down along the way they have a snack shack which you've seen in my uss midway video pretty cool [Music] hi guys welcome to pekko park padres beer fest i work for ballast point misha collins so i just had the best time sipping over here uh follow me in my food page mish critiques miesh critiques all the san diego eats and drinks and of course there's going to be beer come on cheers go padres so i totally did not plan this but tonight here at gallagher square at petco park which is the outfield that you can actually watch the game at they have beer fest so all the different local brews like ballast point come here and serve beer for like five bucks every now and then you'll see there's like beer fest wine fest [Music] original pcl jersey learned after the game tomorrow shout out to the cravery now the baker at the cravery is park filipino so they do have ube cookies from time to time hollow hollow cookies too they're originally in point loma but they do have a place now here at pekko park i'm walking here with a couple friends of mine see [Music] over here in the area that they call the mercado they have a buona forketa which we're going to try my favorite neopolitan style pizza they have hoe dads here but i'll be honest the hodad's at the ballpark isn't really the same as actually going to the location they also have a mr softy ice cream place if you want soft serve and a din tai funk what ballpark in the united states has a din tai fung that's crazy petco park does for jaycation like subscribe and leave the notification section and look at that headband bill bro submerged shout that looks like an old school italian gelato truck [Music] this is my favorite neopolitan style pizza in all of san diego borno for quetta they have one in encinitas south park liberty station and now here at petro park let's get some lights on kind of like a light cheers bro cheers [Music] i'm not gonna lie micheladas are more of a dodger stadium thing but they do have them here at pekko park so we got the spicy pizza from bueno furcheta it's a little different than it is at the restaurant itself but that's to be expected when you're making pizza for the masses that is still really good wow break still nice and soft that is still really tasty pizza from bueno furgeta that is yummy next up this is ballast point this is the classic ballast point beer this is a wii lager oh that is a tasty wheat nice and crisp cheers guys so here is the margarita it's all messy i folded it yup the red sauce is still really good on this margarita they get a neopolitan style pizza at petco park you can't beat it [Music] all right guys we're gonna finish this beer but we're gonna fast forward to tomorrow's game with another special guest dad gaijin so take it over jj tomorrow's game all right educationers it's the next day we're here with dad cajun what's up pop we're here uh checking out the second level now my first time here since about a year ago two years ago two years ago uh you're a photo bomb what's up so unfortunately for this next segment my audio had cut off and i wasn't able to record any of the audio from eating at barrio dog but fortunately i'm able to do these voice overs and we can talk a little bit more about it barrio dog is originally from barrio logan and they have some amazing hot dogs they also have a really unique drink that we're gonna talk about a little later but first let's talk about their unique style and take on hot dogs so you will find the barrio dog location in the 200 level section of petco park so make sure you go up to the 200 level and find barrio dog over there now what i got was the el cholito which is a tj style hot dog with mayo mustard ketchup red onion roma tomatoes chopped fresh jalapeno cilantro crunchy garlic grilled onions cheddar cheese sour cream salsa verde and sriracha aioli [Music] next up we try out their amazing la fresca michelada there's a situation like this a few years ago dodger stadium and dodger games are known for their micheladas but this is a different type of take to a michelada with fresh cucumber key lime valencia lime tajin and chamoy rim it is an amazing take on a michelada and what i got for this was a pacifico so you pay five dollars for the michelada itself and then you pay for the beer separately so the beer was about 1450. so it's all said and done it's about 20 bucks this is refreshing it's very light and i love that cucumber taste ah it's so good on a summer day make sure you just mix together the ice and everything and i'm telling you you're gonna enjoy this michelada [Applause] [Music] all right jk here so we got the kesa birya taco from puesto right here 750. cheers you get a little cinnamony taste to it too you got the avocado wow that's actually really tasty i recommend this wow that's impressive yes this is a super good cassaveria taco guys good fire the meat is fresh you can tell a little spicy i give it an 8 out of 10. it's really good also on the 200 level you'll find the cutwater coronado club as well as a borden brew specialty sandwich board and brew specialty sandwiches are amazing if you keep going to the right field side of the 200 levels you'll run into club 394 well i think it's named something else but it is basically a lounge that is dedicated to mr padre tony gwynn and then once you get over to the right field stands you'll get to where all the flags are and it's just a beautiful area to just cruise around and check out when petco park look how packed the park is on a saturday night it's crazy so much more packed than yesterday so i thought there was a big bear here but there's no longer one around the ballpark but they still have cravery cookies and they do have cookie ice cream sandwiches here so we're gonna get creperie cookies shout out to the chef there pork filipino and we're gonna grab some chocolate chip and see what else they have here for ice cream flavors this will be the final meal of this ballpark eats video all right jk dinners we are here with the final ballpark east meal i ended up getting the cravery cookies i got the cookie monster cookie with caramel chocolate chip white chocolate and then i got the classic chocolate chip cookie with the cookie monster ice cream let's try this out that is an explosion of chocolate straight fire guys straight fire look at that what a great dessert to finish off this video wow cravery cookies i mean i love baked bear but this is a great substitute wow all right marty try out the cravery cookies it's the first time i've eaten a green and powdered blue cookie it's actually pretty good it's called the cookie monster that's why it's that color one more very good all right jk here so that will do it for the best ballpark eats here at petco park i hope you enjoyed all the different types of food all the unique foods that are special here to san diego i'm gonna finish this off with a pacifico and hang out over here at the park by the park i've never seen it this
