here's Damon's third on 11. [Laughter] here here Joe you heard him say golf is so hard no surprise gonna let a little steam out here oh look out that thing is low and right needs to hit a golf cart oh it hits a tree and I believe stayed out and he's six over his last four holes and lucky that he got that break shuffler can do here whoa whoa whoa look out and some teeth oh man that is depressing he just putted it in the soup you gotta remember too Scotty shuffler probably knows this course as well as anybody wow that's one of the worst putts you'll ever see a good player hit he's he's even Teddy's laughing more Cowa has this for birdie from just off the edge whoa look out this might come up did you see that hop was unbelievable that's good Airborne a couple inches at least trying to figure out what it hit what caused that well that was a shank is nearly biased over there take your punishment get it all on the right hand side oh he's going right underneath it it's it hasn't it's moving underneath it three inches straight dude yeah this is horrible tree in front of it okay he went through it yeah but he's there in four there's your pinball it's a pretty big gap to miss [Music] just trying to purposely blade it a little did it even come out I don't didn't see it it didn't come out the tree again this is gonna go this has got to go this is something else it's hard to believe watching this Brandon hege in a little bit of trouble here his tee shot on the bank there and he Shanks it oh man and Aggie's going really well today and just no chance to get it through hitting the punch shots and stick her up like that that is going left hard look out water I don't think that stopped I think that's Him Softly now playing his fifth he did find the water go go just have to stay so patient there's so much look at the amount of spin he created on that short of a shot that's got to sit how in the world let's take a look at the travails of Danny Lee at 17. so trying to hit some kind of fade in there you see him holding the face off but it is not fading Bob takes a huge bounce look at this gets over the penalty area after hitting the Rocks a couple times then there's out of bounds you're gonna watch out for it just stays in so now you're thinking okay he's got a break maybe he can get out of here with a three or four downhill lie though takes a big swing hits underneath it the ball comes out dead so now he's in the water for two takes the penalty drop here Not Gonna Leave This one short learned his lesson from last time but oh man take a seat oh no so in the penalty area again that one's wedged itself up against the Rocks no way for him to hit it has to drop it again this now he's sixth is it gonna be good okay so safely on dry land this time man this course can step up and bite you in a heartbeat it's an upturned saucer isn't it look how short this is gonna be that five iron has just got 1045 yards well that's us out of a jump well Justin's office kind of laughing after that tee shot and uh man he should be I mean Paul he had to hit this couple inches behind the ball and it's on a t either that or he hit it so high on the face it's one of the worst shots you'll ever see oh yeah the entire hit same type of shot required for day oh didn't get out of the rough he kind of half topped it I I get it it's a pretty aggressive swing but Nick Taylor oh oh the lip of the bunker and goes in the water it's all about the lap and I tell you what Diamond has made a meal of that hit the lip and now he is in the thick grass and more than about 25 yards in front of him that was a pretty basic shot really had plenty of room to work with this is not an easy shot at all there you go it's actually closer to the lip into the grandstand oh just cool the he well it just went just just got into the bank just beyond the banker and it's a good layup shoulder the wall you look kind of Rama drama we're just trying to get this thing out that just barely got out this is left though down that left side that guy's got it I mean it almost almost came out which was a miracle in itself get out of this with a bogey that's a miracle in itself [Music] oh rejected wow Spawn from off the green still off the green yeah such a thick lie down there below the level of the surface third for Maverick McNeely at the first map took on this pin let's see how he fares out over there hold on [Music] oh not very easy to slide the club under the ball very easy to hit a little heavy I like that I like that see if he gets a lot of speed here or if he just kind of plops it out whoa that thing came out sideways he must have got a rock or something in there yeah we need to take a look at that that thing may have come off of a hosel he's filtered right around the back that's just about all you can do probably just able to see the top of the flag oh that's going to come back not sure yeah came all the way back down until [Music] is there a limit no there's no limit but Chase should stay oh hold on hold on it's behind that fly that's Trickle and that's gone I think find a blade of grass hit a pitch mark [Music] don't do it oh now we've got momentum you don't you don't think there's a lot of slope there oh we've got gravity yeah let's go I think it's gonna go off the green now Steve yeah uh look at it keep going and he checked it and it's just a big force field right there taking that ball yeah you're gonna lead into these oh oh Kenny shout bite if you're knocked the teeth out of it certainly did whoa he's looking quiet out to the right hand side uphill two-thirds of the journey then downhill and downgrade this is where I really picks up better settle John earlier we were putting from the back portion of that green how fast it was yeah I'm surprised yeah he knew immediately the screen running away from him numbers are starting to add up going and potential to slide down into the rough and that is into the penalty area can't do any better than that right there there's just no way to stop it that's that might even go all the way on the rocks now Webb Simpson from the bunker downhill why oh oh no oh my God it's just a shock to the system as a player when that happens to you and you're in a bunker and you do that you're not expecting it you've hit a thousand bunker shots like that in your life and it just damage control now do your best to get it on the green two fight and get out of there and that's exactly what it looks like he's done and this was a moment ago oh boy oh easy shot came to rest up here yeah he blasted his tee shot and lasted his Chip Shot and expect to see him do that that ball had enough of that brown fluffy grass underneath it kind of like a bunker shot gotta go tumble Into the Bunker oh almost there it's like Doc is going to take something a little bit lower just kind of Chase it up that is a risky dude run into if you don't land it just right and if you don't gauge a spin just right especially out of this rough gear almost a blast shot here yeah almost like an explosion from that dirt he's going from there to the sand pretty good swing to the left as it reaches the little shelf where the hole is and it's going to go left pretty good right there and he never got it out there high enough I don't make you scratch your head how about that three cut percentage from that distance 31 percent that was a complete horseshoe and came right back to him [Music] [Applause] yeah not done yet at all [Music] and I am not sure that I believe what I just saw here I don't it is Max Homer who defends and wins the opener
