what's up guys and welcome to another video and let's get ready to wake up and react to another episode of the Apothecary Diaries episode 17 last time uh Mau she solved the case of like the will with the three sons the like blacksmith Sons he essentially wanted them to like share the business like they each focus on a different component of it um and work in Harmony and it worked out but it seems like her dad was like testing her to see if she could do it I don't know I don't know if he just wants to know if his daughter is anything like him or if he even knows that's his daughter or if I don't know if she's just like some shiny new toy that he's interested in um but yeah uh I feel like that's a decent summary of you know what what happened last week and then when when uh um I don't know why ikaku from bleaches was popping into my head not even close gyi I don't even know why I'm thinking of that character sorry um gyi when he tried to ask Mama's father to like elaborate on what was what happened with um her mom I mean he doesn't know that you you know what I mean just what happened with that woman he was interested in and like how you lower their value and all that he's just like oh H yeah I got to get going so yeah we'll hopefully get more information on that soon but for now we wait and we see so anyway let's jump into it actually let's skip the intro first even though I love the intro yes that too okay that just reminded me and then he asks ma ma oh can you do my makeup and she's like huh for what and then it ends so let's find out why he needs his makeup done Gingy that is boy were are you going under cover for something what do you need makeup for not that men can't wear makeup but why Wars would be started oh I hate that like that is so I have freckles girl what you trying to say he is trying to go undercover or something it can't just be that he's trying to look um less appealing it has to be that like he wants to be less noticeable and why unless you're trying to do something without being noticed so let's see but maybe it's not that I don't know he's so cute never does anything have fast does she so pretty if you're trying to look like a she doesn't want to talk to me he's got cotton in his mouth how's he supposed to eat it it's delicious oh m m when are you going to figure it out was all of this just so he could spend time with her like a little date I hate that she's being referred to as a toy because essentially that's what they're getting [Music] at she's more than that to him he got three but she worries about her dad h oh yep he wants to find find out more about that guy fing oh having a child oh mama oh my God what an [ __ ] like what an [ __ ] that guy your dad is like a [ __ ] monster like hear me out why I'm not trying to like imply having a child is like monstrous that's not what I'm saying I don't want anyone to jump to that conclusion what I'm saying is to intentionally get someone pregnant so that their value which is so [ __ ] up that anyone's values based on their purity or whether or not they've you know you had a child um because things change after that down here but like the fact that any of that has anything to do with your value is disgusting I'm sure we all agree on that but the fact that you know that you know that that's the world that you live in and because you were so obsessed with her you didn't love her based on what I've seen Maybe I'm Wrong we'll get more but like it seemed more like an obsession they keep laying that seed in the show like even with ji he fixates he obsesses over things and they think Mau is his newest like Obsession or fixation I think to some degree in the beginning it probably was that he was fascinated by her but it's more than that now I think he really likes her and he like he genuinely wants her to be happy her dad though what's his name loan yeah he doesn't and I don't think he wanted that for her mom he intentionally got her pregnant to lower her value which is this [ __ ] just vile thing and then you like abandoned her you didn't you didn't help raise this [ __ ] this child like piece of [ __ ] so I wonder if her mom is laying in that bed because she's just depressed or is she laying in that bed like that because she was severely like um like something went wrong in the pregnancy and now she's I don't know like maybe she's like comos or like she's a um like paralyzed or something like she can't move I don't know what's going on because you just see her laying there but you don't know the circumstances you don't know why it is that she seemingly probably never moves from that bed malma full well has to know that's her mother she I think she knows and I think that may maybe why she seemed so troubled when I asked that question because it's personal for her but this is the thing Mau seems like a a a very empathetic person so whenever you bring up like something that is kind of uh how do I say it like whenever you bring up a topic that may be kind of like a touchy subject that that may be kind of horrible just horrible like a lot of the like you know circumstances and how the women or like the consorts well women in general but particularly how the consorts have to live the circumstances they are just constantly like living with and surrounded with just the reality of the world that they live in what it's like for people like whenever a topic comes up that may be kind of yeah just a touchy subject kind of I don't know how else to say it just not it's a negative thing like it's just sad or I don't know I don't know how else to describe I don't know why like there's not a proper word coming to mind to describe it but just something distasteful um horrible um depressing to talk about like you see it written all over her face like she feels these people's pain as if it were her own so that's why I'm saying like when she's talking about this and she seems pretty like downtrodden I of course I know her situation right we know her situation so you assume it's coming from a place of you know like a personal of personal understanding but it's like hard for me to to say that you know with 100% certainty because she she responds that way whether it's in involving her personally or not so like she's just a good person she really just has like the biggest heart um but yeah I I do feel like it is personal like for her she knows the re the reason she seems so upset talking about it is just because it is [ __ ] horrible but also because it's it's her story she resonates with it like it happened to her her her mom her dad I guess I don't know if anything really happened to him he's kind of the one who came up with this whole scheme like he manipulated this whole entire situation and so I don't really want to say like he wasn't really a victim all of this he's the perpetrator like he is the one he he yeah yeah he is he he's like the villain in this scenario for me like nothing was done to you nothing happened to you you took the initiative you did horrible things to other people so I [ __ ] hate this guy but anyway I don't even remember what the original point of that sentence or story was or my line of thought but yeah um other than yeah like ma ma and her mom like he did this to them so yeah it's personal for her she went through it I don't know if that guy really [ __ ] went through anything you know I I don't know I don't know his whole story but like regardless of your reasons you're a piece of [ __ ] unless they were in love which I don't feel like they were unless they were in love and you wanted to like get her pregnant lower her value and then you could buy her out for cheaper like if you guys are agreed upon this and she wanted to have a child with you and like you guys would fall in love and get married after you bought her out and have a happy life but then something went horribly wrong and she broke just saying it like this is how I feel like he would think of things not me she broke your toy broke which if you loved her I'm sure you wouldn't think of her that way so maybe I shouldn't refer to it like that but like she somehow the pregnancy like something went wrong and now she's like a vegetable and like she's brain dead or something I don't know and you were just kind of like well yeah forget it now oh well like and just kind of like left it alone I don't I don't know and just like moved on I wonder like what happened like how did this really play out I don't know if we're ever going to get the answer to this until like the end of the anime like I mean like the end of the anime not the season the anime like seasons and Seasons Beyond this like cuz I don't know how much material there is but I'm assuming there's enough for multiple Seasons so I don't know if we're ever going to get the answer to this but it's killing me like oh I just want to know like what happened why did he do this was it Obsession was it love was it Mutual or did you like I said like concoct this plan this scheme and manipulate her in the situation to go in your favor and then things went arai and your toy broke and you just lost interest and moved on like like how did this play out what the [ __ ] happened like I'm just dying to know but yeah anyway uh I don't know how this like how do you move on from this conversation like I I mean like how do you like I wouldn't even know what to say after that like I wouldn't know how to follow that response you know like what do you say because you don't even you're not even telling her why you're asking these questions yet she's answering them even though it's very uncomfortable for her um I would be like if I was her I'd be dying to know like why you asking me this I mean maybe she knows him sort of I mean she clearly doesn't know him as well as she thinks she does but does she know him well enough to know that she's he's not asking this on his be own behalf like this isn't something he's thinking about doing right like I hope she knows that but until you kind of like come right out and explain it to her I don't know if she will know that she's a smart girl so maybe she will know or put it together but she hasn't met loan so like I have a hard time believing that she would be able to figure out that like this isn't coming from you or like I don't I don't know or at least who it's directly coming from hopefully she knows you're clearly asking because you're trying like you're investigating a situation I feel like cuz you can just tell when he's asking these like oh maybe it's just cuz I know the back the background though but for me when I'm watching it it's like I just I can feel it like I know you're not asking on your own behalf like I know you're not asking because you're thinking about doing something like this but I just don't want her to think that he is oh I just feel so bad for Ma you just see it all over her face that how hard it is for her to talk about this it just kills me but as uncomfortable as it is to talk about I am happy he asked the question because maybe he can give her some type of closure because she I don't know if she even knows who her dad is she might but she might not and if she doesn't would it help to know like who the man is that did this to you and your mom or cuz I you know what it kind of like for some people it kind of reminds me of like there are people who are adopted who don't want to know who their parents are or even in a situation or where you don't want to know like who the killer was like you just want to move on with your life like if someone like hurt someone close to you or or killed someone close to you whatever it may be right you just want to move on like knowing isn't going to help you it isn't going to bring you any closure but for some people it does help it does bring them closure but they do want to know who their real parents are like so maybe it just depends on the person and given who Mau is I don't know if knowing who her dad is is something she actually cares to find out because if she did I feel like she would have done so already which is why I'm kind of iffy and like does she know or not I mean she's so smart I feel like she could have found out somehow but you wouldn't know what he looks like you may know his name you may not know his face cuz when she saw him it's not like she's like oh that's my dad like she was oh military officer so yeah I just don't know like what would she do when if she did get it get that information I don't think she'd act on it because she doesn't want to cause more trouble for herself it's not going to change her situation if even if this guy gets punished her mom's still going to be in the state that she's in so I feel like maybe there might be some sort of satisfaction if he were to be punished but like at the same time I don't really know if it's going to do her any good at all like personally like mentally I I don't know she may just prefer for him to just leave well enough alone so but anyway anyway sorry thinking thinking thinking too much but yeah let me know what you guys
