Best Father of The Bride Speech

hello hello first of all first of all I'd like to thank everyone for coming and sharing this special day with these two beautiful people I have a few words to say about Justin and Alison Oh oh wait that was the bill instead of a speech I wrote a poem Alison you are my daughter my baby the apple of my eye this poem is humorous and not meant to make you cry early one morning came the first contraction I've got plenty of time was my complacent reaction speeding through nars town blowing my horn barely making it to the hospital Alison was soon born as you got older we both would sit down to play a game that you loved with jewelry and a crown it seemed like only yesterday we were playing pretty pretty princess now my little girl here you are today in your beautiful wedding dress daddy you would say can you brush my hair mommy hurts me you cried she just doesn't care I had the knack you see to make the perfect ponytail it would sit high and tight without a single whale your mom and I thought you were adorable but way too shy then a cheerleader you became and you learned how to fly other sports you did try but they never had a chance out of your shell you came when you found out you could dance you're no longer shy but self-confident as could be a college graduate now a bride and someday maybe the head of QVC you told us you one day you met the love of your life his name is Justin you said and someday I'll be his wife Justus is tall dark and handsome and he's not afraid of heights he works in a profession that keeps on our lights Jim and Peggy you have raised a wonderful son you should be extremely proud of the man he has become I have I love hanging with this guy he's a whole lot of fun hell he even shoot taught me how to shoot a gun I got Justin you are a gentleman respectful in all the only problem we have is this one glaring flaw dude have you seen this family you're just too damn tall all kidding aside my joy I just can't hide I'm standing here today and I'm bursting with pride welcome to the family at the end of it all I'm proud to call you my son-in-law Alison and Justin if I can give you one piece of advice don't go to bed angry say I love you say it twice you'll never regret it it might even lead to some spice the two of you are in love and destined to live happily ever after may your life together be filled with joy and loud laughter that brings us to this day and the end of this poem which was killa so raise your glass and drink a toast to mr. and mrs. Justin have real salut now we have the native honor Melissa and for those of it you know the watts is first today in this room
