[Music] hi everybody this is Mike with RV blogger and today I'm with Ryan Brady who's from Alliance RV and we are taking a look at one of their incredibly luxurious fifth wheel models it is the 370 front bathroom model and this thing is just phenomenal it's probably the best RV that we've seen in the entire show we love the floor plan and we think that Alliance RV is gonna go a long way now this is your first year in business right this says yes so he folks I'm Ryan Brady with Alliance RV and Mike I appreciate you taking the time to come into our be sure the company was founded in the spring of last year so it's it's a new company we've been out for about 10 months now and for the first six months we didn't build an RV we owe that to owners forums we created a Facebook page which by the way is Alliance RV group if you get a chance to join it pretty active group from what I hear it is it's a lot of people that camp in these things regularly a lot of full timers and we yeah we call it crowdsourcing the design of the RV you know we put out floorplan drawings and we've listened to the customers out there try to incorporate that feedback into the design excited to tell you a little bit about some of those features that we we put in here okay fantastic well I have to say I think whatever you guys did was really smart because I have never seen better floor plans in the fifth wheel yeah that's phenomenal it's been fun and and you know the the members of the team were all from some of the big you know 5th wheel legacy manufacturers myself I came from Heartland my brother the other co-founder was a Heartland guy we have guys on the team from Keystone and Grand Designs so some real real strong legacy on the team yeah and kind of bringing that best practice to bear bringing some elements from all those food companies and trying to make it better and you know the neat thing with Alliance were not a big volume manufacturer you know and we don't aspire to be you know we're independent we want to continue to listen to customers build a great functional product and stand behind it with excellent customer service now that's fantastic well let's take a look yes all right so some of the things that we heard you know before the first six months again we just went out and listened and some of the feedback that we got we've incorporated into the coach and one of the biggest things that we've done is we've eliminated all the carpet oh there is not a threat of carpet anywhere in the coach another thing that we addressed was storage right everybody wants storage store story and these are big 5th wheels people use these things regularly some people full-time in them so we wanted to maximize the storage so some things that we've done here this was a common aftermarket modification that we are seeing whip up end table that's pretty cool so we went ahead and did that out of the gates and opens up all this usable functional space there that's a really good idea another thing that we did was this pullout fireplace here that means storage so you have a sleeper sofa back here great space to put blankets pillows sheets for your bed here that is kitchen appliances utensils you can put in here as well I've never seen any yet you know a lot of these 5th wheels people that that are in these things regularly will notice this feature that we brought in we incorporated a little shelf here ok so we got the common hey you know I may be an older camper but I still like the game and with the current set ups that a lot of the guys do there's nowhere to put your gaming console yeah that's true so we incorporated an ice shelf there very nice TVs you know we're trying to stay in touch with modern technology all of our TV's household name brand they're LG's but they are Smart TVs as well ok great so you can do this string with the Netflix watch your YouTube videos yeah on your TV here in the Alliance okay so we're in the the kitchen area here so this was something that came up in talking to the people on our Facebook page and going to the owners forums was the we call a toe kick okay kitchen so typically in these fifth wheels if you go into the the other guy's fifth wheels you'll see in the kitchen a little step up yeah so people complain to us they said hey if you could incorporate a flush kitchen slide that would be great I know it was a little awkward for people to use their appliances in the kitchen access their cabinets so order people because it's a little bit of an awkward step up yeah so we tasked her engineer to come out with a flush kitchen slide which she achieved which we're very excited about the features going over very very well that is pretty cool all of our cabinetry are real hardwood we have hidden hinges with soft-close cabinet doors yep we have soft clothes and drawers and when we get into the bathrooms I'll even show you the soft clothes toilets we have rotten that's a really really great high-end feature that you would find in a residential kitchen at home absolutely they're much easier to clean and you know a lot of the times those toilets are up against the wall right yeah sure we've all experienced middle-of-the-night you use in the toilet and you're waking up the significant other the toilet seat slamming down another comment that we got you know in that period of research was ovens ovens were often a challenge in RVs because they're so small ya know people use them as storage just can't really use them to cook because they're so small isn't that funny that's what we use are oh yeah and how the Lord Foreman grill stuffed in there yeah if you look at this table this is a 3.7 cubic foot oven you know residential styling residential size you can actually cook cook a turkey in there yeah that thing's huge yeah you got a four burner cooktop with cast irons here as well so you can have four burners there and then the other thing that we've done here is we've actually centered our stovetop so a lot of people will jam this off to the side we wanted to have usable space yep on each side of it I really like that yeah so yeah you know I talked about the LG Smart TV Insignia microwave insignia oven again household name brand yep we have an option for a residential refrigerator which we're showing here it's a Samsung or you can do the RV refrigerator okay so personal preference whatever the customer wants yeah this was a big one that was a heated debate item whether to do a double bull a single bowl sink we chose the single bowl has a nice little cover that comes included but easier to clean dishes in our opinion with a single bowl I agree another neat thing that we did is we lit the bowl here that's kind of gives it a little mud lighting but it also doubles as light for underneath here oh very nice my bag underneath there another neat thing that we did is we put shutoff valves and all the major plumbing locations so we've heard from customers you know before if you had a leak at a faucet or at the toilet yeah that could be a you know down situation right yeah you can't use it if you don't turn everything off you know just like in your house you have a shutoff valve we said hey why not do it in the RV as well if you have a leak at the faucet shut off the valve and you can still use the rest of your your plumbing that's phenomenal very smart yeah so we you know we try to include all the preps we have dishwasher prep we had washer/dryer prep backup camera prep so right here is dedicated space if somebody after market wanted to put a dishwasher in very nice all the drawers I mentioned the soft clothes this was another thing that came up was the drawer bottoms and had been known to fall out so if people you know put some heavy stuff in there you know this paneling would fall down with ours hit pretty hard because we put plywood underneath the reinforce oh yeah so just a little touch there that we've incorporated into the design and you had the full extension drawer slides as well absolutely the drawer all the way out absolutely another nice feature yeah so working our way over here I forgot to mentioned on the back wall there we do have USB charging ports on each side of the sofa and then in the loveseat here which doubles as a theater seat with cupholders Oh power recliners and then they have USB charging ports there as well awesome this was something that came up and doing our research and talking to customers dinette tables customers complain about having the knee knockers below yeah so we've eliminated that issue the table is mounted to the wall much easier to get in and out because we don't have that table base underneath like that another thing that we've done is the window treatments if you notice how they flush against the wall that was an intentional decision so some of the people out there you know it does look nice I suppose but they extend their window legs out a couple inches okay problem with that is from a functionality standpoint it takes up some of the useful space in your slide oh yeah I was banging up against the that balance leg or even up here if you have it there as well so we we use hardwood but we made it flush to the wall yeah to give you more usable space there very nice I love these gigantic windows yeah and that's amazing yeah that was another thing that came up is you know some people said when they come into their RVs you know especially on a cloudy day you know feel dark you see a lot of Browns and a large lot of dark you know wood grains in these RVs so we wanted to lighten it up but big windows thru-out nice and bright in here you look at the ceilings the natural wood color that we put in the kitchens you know it brightens it off in the inside here yeah one other thing I'll say you guys did which i think is a nice again residential feel yeah is you have the two-tone kitchen yeah you know coming from the home building industry that was a really popular option our customers wanted to see in kitchens so the island is a darker cabinet color than the main kitchen cabinetry so that was intentional you're seeing that a lot in the residential trend yeah mention it helps break up you know the kitchen area from the living area and it brings it up yeah and you come in here like I said on a cloudy day just feels a little brighter than some of the other stuff out there another thing I'll mention too is in the living area you'll notice that we have two air conditioners here oh right we provide three air conditioners standard really so we really wanted to separate ourselves from an HVAC standpoint so you know a lot of our customers these big 5th wheel owners you know they're not in Texas Arizona Florida yep a lot of snowbirds out there that go down there in the winter where it can be very very hot so we wanted to make our coach best in class with a heating cooling standpoint nice so we do three AC standards you will notice in the big open areas and talking to the the Coleman folks the AC manufacturer they said you know we said we want to increase the efficiency make our units best-in-class from an HVAC standpoint wherever we can big open areas we do direct dumb bases now people are a little confused by that because they're used to seeing rather than the Dacey's everywhere yeah reason we do this and we were down in Tampa at the big RV show a few weeks ago and we had customers coming in saying these are the coolest coaches in the unit or in the show reason we did the direct AC so rather than running ductwork in a hot addict yeah Stan's the reason that you're gonna lose some of the efficiency right absolutely so in the big open areas we do the direct a/c rather than running that cool air and the hot addict yeah we dump it right here below and if you look here the ducts you're not really gonna pick up much it wasn't a cost-saving initiative it was truly to maximize the efficiency second benefit there is you don't lose the insulation yeah in your roof right by everyone in ductwork out there now in our bedroom where we do have to get behind walls we do run a ducted AC but in these big open areas we do the direct AC one other things I already know god the noise level so we've got a lot of questions here they noisy I was just gonna they are not ever Coleman came out they're called their Q series we call the tranquil series yeah we had both these a C's runnin down at camp and we could easily have a conversation easily watch TV with the ACS nice okay so they're whisper quiet they're low a neurologist a pull about ten point two amps when they're fully running so on 30 amp service you can run two of your ACS and then of course you can run all three with 50 M service that's pretty impressive yeah so another thing I'll mention in the living area here so we heard the comment that custom with the lighting you know it's either bright alright so I'm all on the right soft way I don't know in between yeah we've done is we've incorporated dimming light switches oh that's really cool yeah so a neat feature at night a little mood lighting can soften the light yeah it was a common aftermarket modification that people were making so we decided to can you turn them up and down again yet Susan catch it on from the big view hopefully you're accustomed there yeah and with the lights on you'll notice some of the accent lighting - yeah we are our lights around the sink we have it in the molding on the back wall we have that little yeah even then the the pendant lighting there so yeah yeah we want to make sure this thing you know looks great which we think it does but the tune tone was and the nice accent lighting but we where we really want to separate ourselves was from the functionality standpoint you know the three ACS we also use a bigger furnace we run a 40 mm BTU furnace well we provide heating pads on the tanks we have forced air into the underbelly so this is truly a four season camper and the other thing I want to mention is we warranty for full-time living oh okay I was going to ask it is rated for full-time absolutely yeah full-time living and this is a 40-foot fifth wheel we know people full-time in these things and you know we provide the warranty to support that that's fantastic well why don't we take a look at the master bedroom and bathroom upstairs and we'll head on up there next yeah so we are up in the bedroom area of the 370 FB so a couple things I just want to highlight to you guys king-size bed is included with the the camper it is assertive mattress so again another household name brand we have nightstands on each side of the bed so as you can see I'm walking back here some of these are kind of jammed in there and it's a little more difficult to actually make the bed yeah we wanted to design something that's a little easier for folks to get in and out of the bed nightstands on each side as well we provide a headboard and then another neat thing that we've done is the window we have a window slider that you can open up get nice cross-breeze on a it's cool evening yeah lights above on each side you have the other windows on each side the the slider as well that open up back over there I don't know if you can see it on your camera we have a dedicated space for CPAP there's a 110 outlet back in there and a dedicated area for a very sore CPAP underneath you have good storage as well this is where we have our two folding chairs that come included for your dinette so nice big storage throughout underneath there working our way into the door side here again we have the LG smart TV comes included maximizing the storage we provide a little flip up here on the dresser drawer nice Bank of drawers here for good storage and even this little sitting area flips up so you can utilize that for storage dimming switch and then we'll work our way into the the bathroom I want to show you guys some things in here as well okay so we are in the bathroom now and a couple things I want to mention our countertop material this is a really neat innovation that we've brought to the market here we are using epoxy we call epoxy poured counter tops so it's an alternative from the the pressed tops that are common in the industry of these if you go to like a bar or a restaurant you see them a lot of times on tables is super durable they're lightweight easy to repair and they give it a nice clean finish in here yeah they look beautiful yeah they do look nice another thing I want to talk about is the sinks so a lot of the fifth wheels you go into them and you'll see a double vanity in the the bathrooms and so that was something we thought about where this like you know why are they doing that man that we heard a lot from customers the comment being that the two sinks oftentimes they're shallow the faucets it's a little low yeah and they're not quite as functional it's difficult to get your hands underneath difficult to wash your face brush your teeth so rather than doing two small bowls we with a large single bowl higher rise faucet to make it more functional and it also gets you a countertop on each side yeah this floor plans been killer this is has great storage throughout great storage underneath we even light up the for some accent lighting behind the medicine or the mirror there great linen closet here nice and deep for towels and sheets for your bedding working our way over to the shower also this has been done have a showstopper people people get super excited when they come up here and see this yeah this is a 60-inch residential sized shower 5 foot care that's amazing this is bigger than what I have in my house I don't want to show my wife that she would be kind of making me do some remodeling we incorporate a shelf here we have a sitting area here we actually have a picture one of our co-workers is not at the Houston show and one of the salesmen down there is 350 pounds Wow he they call him sasquatch for obvious reasons he's six six good guy anyways it is sasquatch certified he sat on this thing and know it oh that's awesome it's weighted or it's rated for plenty of weight to sit down easy to show you her legs or if you want to rest in the shower yeah we'll see it there there you go soft closed toilet again up against the wall yeah I'm gonna bang down at night much easier to clean these toilets as well oh yeah that's for sure and then this the grand finale here the closets unbelievable yeah doctor don't make your significant other mad this might be in the doghouse as well plenty of space up here so I could shut these doors behind again no carpet even in the closet area we got a hanging rod that reinforced you can almost be pull-ups on this thing plenty of storage back here you got a nice shoe storage again trying to maximize the storage throughout the camper we've even incorporated a little hamper I like that so clever software engineer did a great job incorporating they put that little feature there's a real plywood sighs absolutely yeah all the material all very having the drawer fronts the fascia shows the window treatments all hardwood this here is for a stackable washer/dryer it is prepped so you could put that in your coach if you so choose yeah and for full tile living there you go there you go so we're out on the outside and yeah I wanted to highlight a couple things for you so you know I talked about going out to the full-timers people that can't he seems regularly and listening and so something that we wanted to address was running here we wanted to make our coach best in class from a running gear standpoint so what do you mean by running a year so all the components you know the axles the springs the shackles the tires we heard too often people having issues with running gear okay all right so some things that we've done we're using dexter axle's and we've heard of it wasn't necessarily axles that work people are having issues with but it was Springs going flat right you know these are pretty heavy these are big rigs and people put a lot of stuff into them the customers were having Springs one flat so what we've done is we've upgraded the springs that go with 4000 pound Springs standard from the factory Wow along those same lines we've upgraded to the more ride suspension so it gives you that up down side to side suspension and then we've incorporated the more I had heavy duty wet bolts and shackles with the bronze bushings the other thing that we've done is on the tires you know everybody the tire story is well documented there was a rash of bad tires out in the industry a couple years ago right we've upgraded to forty four hundred pound G rated tires most everybody else in our class is used in a four thousand eighty pound tire so we've increased the the capacity a little bit there and so what we've done is not necessarily increased our gbw RS but we've tried to increase that margin a safety right as it relates to our running here gotcha another thing I want to highlight here on the outside is our sidewall material we are using as Dale so as Dale is a composite material so the industry legacy standard had been luan material and so luan is a wood material as a living breathing organism that expands it contracts and hot and cold weather yep with the as Dale stuff it's composite and in our opinion it's a superior product it's less susceptible to a delamination a little bit more money but we think it's worth it yeah in the end yeah the composite materials tend to shrink and swell less in humidity humidity and also temperature related issues absolutely yeah on the the roofing material we are using a PVC membrane on the roof it carries a 15 year warranty well it it's more puncture resistant back to the HVAC it's a little more reflective so it doesn't absorb quite as much heat there on the roof and if you do have an issue with it if you take it under a tree it's a little easier to repair versus the traditional rubber and tpo roofs out there right and then you know at the end of day Alliance RV it's just that that's why we chose the name Alliance you know we're trying to create alliances with our art and retail customers our dealers our employees our communities our supplier partners and stand behind it again we we don't aspire to be a large volume manufacturer we want to remain independent build high quality products and stand behind them with excellent customer service well we want to thank Ryan for giving us this tour of this awesome 5th wheel today like we said before I think this is the best fifth wheel we've ever been in and we just think it's phenomenal so thanks very much absolutely thanks Mike I appreciate it all right being you and your wife thank you yeah thank you guys
