Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
This seems way easier then what I e experienced. When I’ve gone in for front end roles, even if they specify react in the job posting, they almost always ask generic JavaScript questions.
I’d say in my experience that this is not the norm. There was no whiteboard full of algorithms. Unfortunately the vast majority of interviews I’ve done had very little code examples to walk through and way too many algorithm challenges. Some of which were unnecessary for what the job was.
Do they still ask algorithm questions even when your a front end developer?
Real world interviews won't be like that. But this one gave me good insights. Me personally would like to have this level of comfort when it comes to interview. But I think won't easy in reality.
is this the way how companies interviewing frontend/react developers? It seems like a very easy interview, He says that's for a beginner/junior position but still, from your experience, is this realistic?
The guy that is being interviewed is a founder of algoexpert - company that seems to me quite shady. They claim "sign up and get a job at Google" - I've already got and ad, after watching this video...
I don't see how it is any different than "There are 5 hot milfs in your neighborhood waiting for you."
There is not a lot of content on their website and they simply teach you some basic CS algorithms, which you can actually learn without paying them, because there is a huge amount of free resources and free similar websites available.
