[Music] so so [Music] once i got into the cfl program on board i started reading into the knob series i got into free weights and i got into calisthenics more all the body weight stuff because it is just so amazing what we could do physically with just our own body we don't need exterior equipment to get a full worth of workout when i got into the navy i started to realize the time management and schedule that i have i need to be able to manage it wisely so getting that 30 minutes to 45 minute workout while i'm underway or gone at sea actually improves and i feel much better when i do that because i got a good sweat and now i can get a restless [Music] i am a sister to my duties by drill instructor sasha and dixon discipline and spirit are the hallmarks of a marine each one of you can become a marine if you develop discipline and spirit we will treat you as we do our fellow marines with firmness fairness dignity and compassion furthermore if you feel as if i have mistreated you i expect you to part such incidents immediately to your series commander captain bates obey all orders quickly willingly and without question treat all marines and recruits with courtesy and respect you must work hard to strengthen your body your spirit and your mind be proud of yourself in the uniform you wear my typical day is we wake up at 6 30 and you go to work at 6 45 and then you do your details for the day and then you go and do training and do all paperwork like upgrade trainings obviously our mission is completely different than other bases since our global hawks obviously aren't manned they're unmanned aircraft so if there's a fire on board or whatever there isn't a pilot there's no souls to save so pretty much we're going to surround and drown the aircraft try to save as much as the aircraft as we can and there's not a lot of fuel load there's no munitions on there so that's how it's different obviously the weather is a huge aspect in our job um it can get as low as negative six degrees here so it's pretty cold so the winterization systems and everything else like it has to be trucks have to constantly make sure the trucks don't freeze so that you can get water in case there is an emergency we protect assets on to make sure that they can land properly and take off properly without any hazards there's been times i've been super stressed out and people here like that have been to the job obviously a lot longer than i have we're all just like a big family so super comfortable i'd rather talk to people who experience who know experience with a job and have experience like on the job and so if you ever need someone to talk to they're always here for you [Music] i didn't know really what i wanted to do in my life but i wanted to do something along the lines of emergency services my recruiter called me and said you want to be a firefighter and i just knew in my heart that like i wanted to help people and i wanted to be something better and make something better with my life [Music] the left seat pilot monitoring the pool here will be a ride seat pilot flying um [Music] we've gone through nothing significant here um i think at hawaii there's some lights and taxi closures so we'll just double check those on our way over there [Music] okay is [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] you
