Beach Metal Detecting, What Did We Find In A HUGE Cut?!

doing grass we're supposed to be doing a beach called a goodie i see beach hunters okay gordy got a target just here um i actually thought it was there and started scratching around i couldn't find it she goes that's not where it was it was over here so i've got nothing to dig it with excepting for my fingers because as i said we're going to think so i'll start scratching around take a look taking that first gold he goes to me yep all done courtney thank you that doesn't count you know that don't you oh it does well it does because we're not on the sand um yep so we're actually heading over towards the sand well it's supposed to be um yeah well done cody hey so uh courtney said to me this morning because what do you reckon we'll find today and i said i'll be happy with anything more than 25 cents so well courtney's started all right anyway here you go you got the bag um yep it is windy it is cold and it is early so yep we are heading to the beach all right we'll see you down there targets are deep that's so cool i'm going to show you i've never i've been down to this beach hundreds of times i've never ever seen it like this ever not even close that it could be a good thing uh yep we did so could be a good thing look at this remember this beach we are a meter no more than a meter what do you reckon cody near on two meters down right so that's my height my yep my height pretty much i leave the starfish this thing i'm going to walk over and say g'day you keep detecting courtney look at this hey poor thing anyway um yep at look at that never seen rocks on here before like this um we are a long way down so uh yeah i'm sort of half expecting to find some really good stuff here so well of course it is i haven't even found a bottle cap yet anyway well done courtney um i ever find a drone so unless i rip one out of the sky and run down the beach with it so anyway we're gonna keep going all right courtney's got one here it is it's jumping all over the place but we're not used to doing the water so it could very well be that this is just normal this one is deep so that last target um where i said that it's first time i found a drone you probably all think the wang i mean that was caught your target couldn't he did actually walk away she goes now that's a bottle cap and i said are you sure i said i'll dig it i don't mind no that's all right i'm digging it [Laughter] i didn't want to get wet feet no i don't want it no i really didn't want wet feet it's like six degrees it is cold so now we're digging every number no matter what it sounds like yep regardless of what it is we've already got wet feet and we're about to get more wet feet [Laughter] we'll take your metal detector with you okay [Laughter] i can't even see where i'm digging i got no and we're going to keep swinging and have a sleep well now um we just found 20 cents as you can see it right there but we did something a little bit silly i left the camera off because i thought it was going to be a little too silly didn't think it was going to work we went there's a rip right in there um so courtney was actually a little bit concerned about getting swept out so i said to you i said oh yes you're not going anywhere i'll come straight after you but see where it's joining like that yeah that's where that was hey and we went after it hey we found it we found it i mean we did it off camera because i thought there's no way with the amount of water going over there i thought there's no way we're getting that and i end up scooping it out didn't know i had it dropped in the wave and then kind of goes oh you just dropped it in the water so we're madly trying to get it it was it was funny i do wish i had the camera on for it but um but anyway yeah that's what happened so yeah we're gonna keep swinging okay this is courtney's one right here um i just dug a little bit of foil off camera because i didn't think it was anything good um yeah i'm half expecting this to be pretty crap i can't remember when we first started this channel yeah we didn't know what was allowed to say we were hey careful yeah now it's like a free-for-all um is that it no lost it yeah i don't think i got it it's not there anymore gentle gentle you still got it to my left i can't see where the original hole was so we sort of figure if it was aluminium foil thin light stuff like clipper wrappers and all that sort of stuff it would wash away so we're digging every single number because we're sort of thinking well if it's still here it's got to be reasonably heavy have i got it [Laughter] this is why i followed it gone okay did you find it again so what is it just falling through is that pinpointer is that waterproof i actually don't know okay i better not go dunking it under water if anybody knows if the pinpointer is waterproof let me know we i got it again and we lost it oh i can't hear this this um these waves are so loud you might need a big point oh this is going to be hurting don't let it go i tried [Laughter] what a pain in the butt well we did well ish oh well that's the way the cookie crumbles um yep we're gonna have to keep going oh i'm sorry um this is courtney's number where how deep was it um i don't exactly know what she's doing exercising i think um and she just gave us the absolute most definite filthiest look for the detector going off we're about eight meters from her oh funny did i get it soon find out i guess some people just don't have any type of sense of humor whatsoever have i got it no hang on i don't even know where the hole is sounds pretty good sounds great sounds like a target i'm not quitting them sorry lady it's very solid what numbers you got 22 to 24. 22 to 24. could it be a dollar coin or another silver ring it could be it could be either man if you find another ring i'm quitting oh my god i stuck in there don't quit i need you to dig endless amount of strength still standing two down so let's get deeper that's one one thing to look forward to no i'm digging it don't fall in it could just go right up to your armpits stop pushing that deeper i'm not very confident on that i've got a bit of a puff going at the moment this on the beach there's no way i'll never do that so what i'm going to do is i'm going to turn the camera off and just very very carefully very slowly get that out we'll see you at the hospital all swapped over courtney's normally on my left on that side over here but we swapped over because we got no idea what we're doing and we're out of practice all right well we're gonna keep swinging we if you detect it touches water salt water um or wet sand salt wet sand always wash it out always you're supposed to turn it off first but we're actually going to do a little bit of the grass so that's the reason why we still uh still got our detectors turned on or courtney i was going um say geez that went for a long time did you break it [Laughter] might as well that's pretty good idea um so yeah so one tip for the day if your detector touches sand sand gras grass touches the salt water all wet salt sand always wash it off um these things here is uh i don't know if you can hear that it's very very thin very i'll hold it so yeah so that's it's very very thin and it will rust right there um i'm a little bit surprised ours hasn't because of the amount of uh uh detective we do on the beach but it hasn't so uh that's a good thing i've only done one shoe anyway um yep it's gonna do our shoes as well only because i don't want uh a ton of sand in my hey what are you liking my legs [Laughter] um never seen so much sand removed from that beach i mean it was up to my shoulders that's how much you know so meter and a half anyway that's the junk we got okay so always digging that stuff and look at this look at this so we did a little bit of research on this this is a beginner's drone uh clearly somebody needs more practice and then courtney found this wow um that's a hopefully you guys can see this uh that's a snake that's a really nice ring so it is 925 it is sterling silver uh if i'm shaking i do apologize it is freezing cold out here and it is raining as you can see well done courtney i think that might have been her first target on the beach these are the coins we got so five cent pieces we got two of those guys uh three ten cent pieces got 120 two one dollars and four
