Beach Metal Detecting, Dad’s LUCK Continues!

[Music] good morning uh as you can see still dark in here it is coming though hey we're gonna have a nice sunrise today uh yeah i'm down at my queen beach nice take a look at that i'm not sure how much of this you can see but these gopros are absolutely amazing on light on low light okay i do have a target here tens 11's mostly 11's looks like four bars down which is deep it doesn't sound too great does it oh liam i love this scoop mate it's so much better than my old one that's a 4-5 [Laughter] let's find out what that is i can see something there gentle gentle it is so dark down here i can't even really tell what that is might be an earring i don't know can you guys even see that yeah you might be able to um i have absolutely zero idea what that could possibly be sure that's not an earring that's pretty pointy anyway when it gets a bit lighter i'm going to take a look at this but anyway it's interesting now was that the target i'm guessing it was it was okay oh it's cold down here i'm used to like you know 35 36 38 40 degrees celsius like right now it's about 15. all right i'm gonna fill this guy in and keep on swinging 16-17 three down nice yeah much easier this uh this school gets rid of the wet sand sorry about the shaking of the camera that's a 20 cent piece all right that's my first coin um this is actually my coin beach so well the coin beach i should say not my coin which i don't know in this place um all right 20 cents hey first coin for today you're beauty yeah let's check this out still too dark to have to see what that that thing that i found that was it lovely all right and this is how i do this i'm sure you've seen me do this a hundred times and i also make sure that i flatten out any of my lumps all right let's keep going okay i'm about four meters away from where i just found that 20 cent piece and that's a straight 21 two bars down i'm in line of a walkway at the moment nice let's see if i can shake this out without shaking shaking the camera ones to find so these are highest coin nomination these ones two bucks sweet no i'm just going to go over this area did that go in my bag or i'd just drop it in the sand no i went in the bag yeah don't tell courtney about that one either way okay looking pretty good feel this going feel this going so this second the secondary hole that you see like that that's why i'm doing this i basically just do that and then when i need it i grab it and as you can see there's a hole all right let's keep going thirteen one to two down ah pull tab i haven't dug a pull tab for a while first i've got to piece that is crusty it's been down there for a long time i'm talking about years all right once again when it gets light i'll take a look at it but right now i want to keep going there's no one down here at the moment i'm a bit surprised with that because there's normally like two or three detectors down here even before i get down here and it's normally dark when i get down here so anyway yep i gotta keep swinging okay i got me a little problem um as you can see there's a bag right there that's not my bag that's somebody else's bag i don't like going close to people's people's property generally about right now i'm probably about eight feet away from it so um and yeah i might go to about here which is about like five feet from it so i've got a high tone just there which i marked and i thought i'm going to come back to that when that bag's gone i took a couple of steps i've got another one so what i'm going to do is i'm actually going to dig this one but i'm going to get as far away from this bag on a stand because when people are swimming in the water and you know you've got some idiot standing so close to their bag worry someone so i'm just going to move away just so they don't get concerned i don't like that i would normally have left that but the second target yeah i think about all that sort of stuff when i'm out here [Laughter] it's a buck nice all right um kangaroos okay i can just see the kangaroos and the light so um it is starting to get a little bit lighter so uh yeah beauty oh no that goes in the bag all right this other mark where's my other mark on i did have it here somewhere there it is up here i will go over that hole but just in a second oh how deep was it that was only two down so i've gone way too deep [Laughter] all right two bucks a maybe it's just on its edge could be okay let's clean this mess up and keep on swinging okay so as you can see i've already taken one scoop from it i totally forgot to turn the camera but there's a it's like 15 16 so chances of it being anything half decent is pretty slim so all this money i'm finding at the moment is literally in a walkway right there okay hi i'm so glad i turned the camera it's gold in color i haven't got my glasses on so i can't see nothing that whole thing is just a big blur to me i don't think it's anything no it's not i'd say that's copper anyway a little pendant maybe something that hangs off the keys perhaps oh that's actually a necklace latch see it's a necklace latch look at it oh it still works definitely pendant of some sort sweet yeah i'm pretty certain that's not real gold even with my eyes i can see that's a discoloring um so definitely a copper color but nice sweet let's keep going no idea what this could be probably that little can yep i'm right seeing me walk these so i'm on a bit of a diet at the moment been on it for about two weeks and my belt doesn't fit me very good anymore so i know something's working all right so this is basically what i do um this is an equinox 600 if you didn't know i generally have it on depth range of 21 um yup 21 and right now i'm running beach mode 2 and yeah because i felt like two so i don't know if it makes a huge amount of difference well i personally haven't found a lot of difference running on beach mode one or two whether it's wet dry semi-wet i know you're supposed to be running on now correct me if i'm wrong beach mode one's supposed to be in the water beach mode two is supposed to be in the dry sand or the other way around i don't find there's that much difference to be honest with you so um that's pretty much what i do here so i've got iron turned off which is this side here um i've got my balance turned on hopefully you guys can see all this so that's automatic balance up here in the top corner uh and my battery and uh yeah we need charging so everything needs charging i need charging all right we're gonna keep swinging okay 21 22 uh three bars down so that's six inches three bars wow courtney's fault unless it's a coins bill then it's my fault oh i thought i saw something silver in the bottom but it's not it's only a shell i thought oh man don't tell me how much faster this thing clears it clears the wet sand out [Laughter] totally didn't expect that little ripper okay that's definitely it oh there's got to be sterling silver make sure there's nobody right on me wow look at the shape of it is that just my eyes or is that actually i don't know that's probably just my eyes okay i can definitely see something going on in there there is something written there i just can't see what it is obviously nice is it supposed to be that shape i'm a tiny little ring look at it that is definitely not round i thought it wasn't my eyes see courtney hey i'm not gonna try straighten it up man that is tiny little ring but it's a ring and it's silver you little ripper all right let me just put that in my special part so yeah so i had to ask that lady on what that what that thing was that i found i had an idea it was possibly something like an earring only because of the white because the ball that was on it which i actually thought might have been a pill um but yeah there's no way i'd wear something like that now that's dangerous let's uh let me show you let me just show it to you again it's a real spin out take a look at that that's an earring surely that would be digging into your neck actually that's so long that's probably going to dig into your waist um yeah so when i when it was quite dark so when i saw that it looked like a pill um well i suppose it's supposed to look like a pill um but that's pure around i'd really doubt that that's a real pill i know you can tell by rubbing on your teeth um i mean it's light yeah there's definitely no stamps on it there's no way that's real but yeah i don't know it looks dangerous to me but anyway if that's what people want to wear crazy let's throw that back in the bag all right well ring number one today i actually found three rings down here last time i was here so yeah i didn't think i'd find another ring for at least two more years i thought i found them all in one day oh bear that so that's so good all right when it gets a little bit lighter it's still not properly light yet um i'm actually going to take a photo of that uh what do you recommend to do top of the scoop or middle finger got to be middle finger yeah middle finger good choice people anyway i'm going to keep going you cannot get any fresher than that let me show you i didn't see it my detector went off look how fresh this basically what i did was i hit two bucks and i hit it well too i went down probably i know six inches seven inches down and uh left it there and um yep he found it and i made him do the scoop and everything he did the whole lot on his own so i said to you i said if you find it you keep it so uh you found it so uh yeah so there's not gonna be two bucks extra i mean there's gonna be two bucks less in the wrap-up so uh yes i'm pretty much buggered now so uh as you can see i'm standing on the grass that's the beach in front of me um and uh yeah this grass needs another hunt so uh i just run my detector over and um yeah come up against like i think there's like 250 cent pieces in a five cent piece so i'm not going to dig them today but i know they're here anyway um i'll see you guys in is why i go to the beach uh three ten cent pieces we've got six 20 cent pieces and take a look at this one now now we can actually see it um hopefully you guys can see that i'll try to give you a bit of a close-up without making a gold blurry yep i don't reckon i've seen one of them before now courtney's on her way over so i'm going to show her that see what she says so one buck and we've got ten dollars in two dollar coins so and i gave a two dollar coin to that uh that young that young guy he was about seven years old so um he wanted you know he sort of looked really really interesting he was following me around a little bit so i just asked his parents can i you know can i show him how to use it and um so yeah that's what it was let's have a look at some good stuff okay this guy here that's a boat uh it's it's a junker so unfortunately but it definitely came off of a necklace that's a necklace clasp right there so uh but it's chewy and this thing here um so i showed my wife this and she said earrings straight away and i said to her i said is that is that not dangerous having that thing sticking behind your ear she goes well that's what they are now and i'm thinking wow um they wouldn't catch me dead having anything like that anywhere near my ears and i found this sorry courtney yes i sent her a photo with the old bird so the middle finger so pretty much i sit this on top of my middle finger and take a photo of it so it's pretty much saying in your face cody so this is 925 there is a stamp right there very clear so um yeah very nice now i've been doing well well for rings uh it's like this last four four weeks i've been coming out with rings so um yeah that is awesome so um you can see the shape of it i thought that shape was off uh but yeah i wasn't too sure so uh but now i can definitely see it so that's nasty anyway um so courtney's doing well um as from filming this video she's got like two weeks to go um i'm guessing when you're watching this video she's gonna have one week to go uh she'll be very close anyway so um i'll keep you keep you all informed and let you know how she's going so um she's coming over here today i don't know when so i
