episode we will show you two affordable houses both of them very unique and rare because the first one is only two floors and has an amazing breathtaking sew and the second one is very big with a Terrace and SE View and at the end of today's episode we will also answer some of the most common questions that we are receiving so now sit down relax get your coffee or your tea and enjoy today's episode [Music] people before starting the tour of some amazing properties today we would like to say that we are pretty Amazed by the response we received since we start publishing video about Sicily about this place about our house about the renovation and we put a lot of effort a lot of work we started 11 months ago in the history of this Village this has never happened so much visibility I mean it was over 10 million views just in the videos that we recorded over here and the attention the interest that people showed about this Village we have now people coming every week trying to to see and uh know more about this place and um I mean we have been able uh through our videos through our work to to help sell over 10 properties now so this mean that over 10 families are coming to live here or to spend time over here and more are coming so this is a a change to this Village that we are so proud and happy that we have been able to to create uh and uh we are creating a International Community over here because our dream was to be able to allow Lucha to grow up with International kids and uh it's it's amazing we see and to see this place not you know uh just disappear disappear we saw so many villages uh yeah ghost Villages ghost towns in Italy they here they used to leave 2,000 people and now are just we we are just 600 and the population is decreasing so hopefully this can be this is a change already and this was our personal initiative and we are so proud seeing people coming here and being happy because they are realizing their dreams yeah we saw people crying people being so happy having ghost buns Jaz in the views and being here and being a able you know to realize their dream it was super emotional it is super emotional we are so happy to be able to to create all of this okay now let's start the tour [Music] [Applause] [Music] home [Music] [Applause] [Music] and we are starting today with the first house that is a twostory house uh so we have one access here on this road and then we have another access on the ground floor something that you need to know about this house is that you cannot reach the house with a car but you can leave the car upstairs up there see up there where you see this gray car and then you have to to to go downstairs yes to this first entrance okay but what is really nice about this house is having just two floors is unusual yes and it's very very comfortable and I just love the tiles you know that I'm a lover of Sicilian ancient ties so come on in also the view is is nice yes yes yes but what you will notice first are the tiles these are ancient original ancient tiles call ittina are the same tiles that we have in our house same material yes so okay we enter and we have this little room with this window where you can already see the town andew you can show them uh the view from here you see it's just one floor okay one floor where we had the first room with one type of ties and then we have another type of ties very colorful with we have one balcony here this could be one bedroom then we are entering another bedroom possibly or living room I don't know with another balcony fa in the sea you can see Lucha down there feeding the cats again the view is spectacular we have a fully renovated bathroom so there is a big shower very big shower with the B the toilet the sink everything is brand new the ties are perfect condition perfect and it has a a window so this is really important so in the bathroom you can V ventilate the bathroom beside this plaster job this uh repain job that you have to to do in case you want to buy this house then the house is in perfect conditions then from this room we can access a upstairs a huge storage you can see it's a kind of an optic it has a window and um I can stand up easily up here but then if we move that way it gets lower and lower so it's quite big it's bigger like the house water tank up there let's go downstairs we go on with the tour this room a water tank an emergency the water tank as you can see the this floor has been fully renovated there are new tiles the floor is new here you have a washing uh machine and you know this is this was used as a laundry room something like this as a facility room over here we have an access from the Lower Road and here you can hang your clothes over here the view is amazing here is the the house the two balconies from outside we have this access a window and other aess with another window we will show you over there so let's get in again window s is opening the window so we have a little bit more light okay like this is better so this is the dining room it's all with wood glading uh nice space yes huge space you can see there are two fridges over here one and two and and I like this room like this kitchen is so typical it's so nice there is also a little bathroom with just the toilet and the sink but it's very useful in case you are staying downstairs and you're cooking you don't want to go upstairs for the for the bathroom and here they Place another bed yes so there was a lady she was leing basically only here with the bed with the bathroom and uh we will show you upstairs yeah so there is something very unique about this house you can see already the size of these chairs chairs so the lady that was living here was very short so this kitchen was too big for her and they just built another kitchen up there for her I will show them so here she was able to fully stand up and to cook and to eat and to have everything here so of course you can use this space for another bedroom or for storage I don't know yeah playground for kids uh I don't know there is a window over there a sink everything K here sitting here and cooking using these as the sink so it's like living in a dollhouse up here yes up here look at the little F okay so I think it's amazing in this house you will find a lot of details with Ceramics down here here oh here in here it's beautiful they told us that the AC is working so there is one is see here that can also heat another window here now out here you can see again the entrance the little window the window that we could see from uh the half floor and the two balconies yeah so it's this entire starting from here it's all this building here is where Lucha always come to feed the cats yeah so you will have Lucha visiting you every day and building it's pretty big this is one of the biggest house that we have t here in this Village this is the main road Via Roma of the village so can get pretty busy in August but other than that you see it's very quiet so um and there is the house and then on the ground floor there is a shop was a shop at least the family owned a shop and they were running a business back in the days uh so you can have a very pretty unique space that we will show you right [Music] now we have the entire building there is one road on that side and here there is an access okay so there are three there are three access one from here one from here and one from the road that you get directly inside the the house so down here down here as Sarah said it was the shop so you will find this big um open space with the entrance over there there is um a bathroom just with the with the VC and uh probably also little hour you can close this or not I don't know but yeah but it's small it can be redana but the room is window is pretty big the room yes and then you have the stairs to go upstairs to the house if you want you can also have like two separate Apartments yes you can just close the stairs and you have a bathroom with you know a big uh open space you could you could potentially you know make a kitchen over here small kitchen with a bathroom and a room but it all depends of the the needs and the idea that the the new owner needs and want to do we will go upstairs these are the stairs to go up but we will show you the entrance from outside okay see now we will get inside the house this is the main entrance from the side road you see we have one two three and four yes I'm coming thank you this is the first floor what you will notice immediately is that the floor plan of the house is wider than usually what you usually can find here uh because the other town houses they have like one room stairs one room stairs one room stairs and the Terrace here you can find like two three rooms and then we can go upstairs and downstairs the first room is the bathroom is a pretty big bathroom you can see a bathtub and then we have the sink the toilet and B the condition of the tiles is very good and then we have a window and then the radiator because you will have radi all over the house that is very important here here we have our first bedroom let's P it like this that is facing the main road voma and you have also a little balcony the tiles are very nice you like them and also here you can see the radiator and the balcony balcony okay let's go back inside this is an aess that is not tight it's not claustrophobic but it's very spacious and Airy this is what I like about this house another radiator and then here we have the master bedroom also here this is a bigger bigger balcony and very SP issues very nice here we have a balcony we can see the church over there s Roo and again the main road this is a very useful storage room [Music] in here you have the access to go to the stairs that are going downstairs to the shop yes and then we have the stairs going upstairs going upstairs and we will start the tour of the second floor let's say CU we have the shop at the ground floor then we have the first floor and then the second floor M let's start from the kitchen the kitchen is the biggest one we have seen here in the village it has also a wood oven over here and as you can see uh super big it has a little window on that side and a huge window on this side just want to say a huge thank you to our assistant luch is holding the the flashlight thank you more you can see a huge radiator and uh it has enough space to have a really long table with chairs the ties are in good condition but now Lucha come with me we have storage Lucha I'm live thank you we have some storage and more storage everywhere mhm okay and here there is a huge huge huge living room or dining room as you want also over here huge windows on the main road of the village so we have the balconies just on the first floor here windows and here it seems like this is like recently been renovated the floor at least yes but the house is one balcony on this floor oh we have yes on the side right over here so here on the side where downstairs we have the aess there is this little balcon with also the access to the ter [Music] upstairs okay so you can access the Terrace from here or or going here we will go up from the inside okay so up here as you can see there is a huge room some pons sorry some pigeons so there is a window over there a door to go outside another window on that side a sink here is the pellet heater with all the pipes that go inside the house and then here we have a pretty big Terrace one part is called Veranda because it's closed you have a roof you don't have the the windows on the sides but you have the roof so it's called veranda in Italian at the moment you can see these nets is because of the pigeons over here you can see this winch electric winch so you can get all the groceries from down the road and bring everything probably they had the kitchen up here and um now you can have amazing barbecues up here yeah the space is very nice and from this side of the Terrace you have an amazing view of the Church of San Roco and then on this side you can see the sea and the islands I can see the islands over there you can have big parties up here and on this side you can see the castle and the mother the mother Church the mother church so the old part of town the sea and wow over here the view is amazing very nice beautiful beautiful they put the net because nobody's leaving here and they have problems with the pigeons this one also can be removed uh uh they are not using uh these water tanks anymore because this town used to be 2,000 people living here so during summer when everybody would start taking showers water will start missing but right now only 600 people living in the village so no need of that water tanks anymore okay so let's go inside and show you a little bit more over here so all of these could be open without the net no need of the net anymore barbecue here you can see the access from the balcony that we show you downstairs and this little room up here it could be a kitchen it could be storage it could be a h one more room for guests up here or whatever is needed and the request prize for for this second find the email address in the description below this video now the most common question that we received in the past video was why is the kitchen always upstairs okay the kitchen was the heart of the house it was where people used to spend most of the time when they were at home so the kitchen was at the last floor because during winter it would be the hottest room in the house and since it's the place where you spending more time it was a good idea and uh nowadays you can find also some kites in the low floor because during summer they would spend the time in the freshest place of the house the coolest place of the house even in the summer the the the the last floor is the hottest one not just in winter but you open all the windows you can ventilate it easier yes and and people here are very used to hot summers and hot weather and uh they have the best view from last floors and they really don't care a lot about you know the groceries to leave things because they nowadays they have the electric winch that they can winch and back in the days they just would bring the things up with the rope and uh nowadays yes their temperatures are uh hotter let's say back in the days it would snow here during winter and the temperatures were way lower also during summer we about 650 m above sea level so the reason why you can see the kitchen always or very frequently at the last floor is because of that the place because was the heart of the house and because like was the hottest place so you prefer to have the bedrooms at the first floor or the ground floor and a lot of people have uh two kitchens so they can have like the one in the basement and the one uh up another question is if uh there are real estate agencies involved so for the properties uh that we are showing you no these properties are not on the market we speak directly with the owners and we try to to show them yeah they are sold privately so no real real estate agencies involved about the village you ask how far we are from the coast we are about 15 20 minutes from the coast and the services that you can find here is a very quiet place there is a little bit more of life and a little bit more going on in August because they have all the parades and some celebrations during August but we have here the pharmacy the post office we have two little mini markets we have two cafes there is a school you may need a car or something uh to move around because yes you can stay here and leave here but then if you need like a bigger uh you know to to go and to buy some groceries you have to go to the coast or uh driving to other bigger towns yeah there there is a bus who comes here and brings people to the main towns around but it's only like twice a day so it's it's good for kids who are going to schools in other Villages because they are older or people are going to work but then again if you are planning to go down and come up several times a day it's better to have a vehicle okay so then if we will
