BDO Gathering With Mastery - Power level from Beginner to Artisan in Under an Hour

welcome back all today's topic is about power leveling those first ranks of gathering with the addition of mastery gathering is basically a money printer however in order for you to start seeing massive yields per hour you're going to need some bigger mastery numbers I think the easiest and cheapest way to do this is to simply gather who would have thought every rank you get beyond beginner one gives you five mastery points up until you hit guru 20 after guru 20 you get ten mastery per level this makes power leveling a life skill very profitable in the long run which makes it worth taking a little bit of a loss at first you're gonna need some money to make some money gathering is awesome however because you start to see that revenue roll in a lot earlier than some of the other life skills secondly the higher your gathering rank is the higher your chance is to not use energy when gathering currently the maximum chance to not use energy is 30% and if nothing has changed from years ago this is going to capo for you at Master 1 the next big piece of information we must go over before we start is how gathering experience is calculated rather than the quantity of items you're gathering it's based off of how many slots are filled in the loot window let's take a look at one of the pin posts in the life skill discord written by service serious as you can see if I gather for wild grass in one slot I will receive less experience than if I gather two single stacks of wild grass this is what makes the area we're going to level in so powerful the wild herbs were gathering here have a very large drop table allowing us to gather many different herbs at once giving us maximum that's field there are different experience amounts you get for different items but the mass quantity that the wild herbs provide per hour is just too high for us to ignore tying into this topic the hedgehog is another massively powerful item for power leveling gathering as well as increasing your overall yield basically this little guy will give you a certain percentage chance to gather again giving you an increased chance to see even more experience mastery quantity however it doesn't have any effect on how much the second proc gives you so it will yield the base amount for example when gathering me from wolves you're gonna get two to four meet at zero mastery and the hedgehog can proc allowing you to yield another two to four me with over 1250 mastery you can see a maximum yield of 16 meat plus four from the hedgehog at once at tier 1 & 2 you're gonna see about a 30% chance of that rocking as well as tier 3 being a 40% chance and tier 4 is a 50% chance you cannot however stack the Hogs together sorry guys 50% it's gonna be the cap next let's take a look at our shopping list before we get started first let's go over the tool I'll make this as simple as I can for you if you have 650 mastery or more wearing life skill keyer including the hoe then use that mastery tool if you're below 650 use the improved hoes until you hit skill 5 then switch to the magic hose after that the improved house can be purchased and pair from injury the material vendor they only have 30 durability so buy a few of these to keep you going until you hit skill 5 and can use the magic o if you're at 650 or above and are using one of the mastery hoes already and you're good to go right out of the gate as it has no level requirements so now we're starting to get close to the starting line we just need a few more things as far as experience busco I'm going to use everything that's available to me to save time this includes the Tri - accessory set that I have for an additional 55% on top of everything else the more buffs you have the faster you're going to level beyond getting your gathering to +5 nothing is absolutely necessary it just saves time in the end this is just about power leveling remember seafood cron will be my main food and combined with the verdure Draft you will be at +5 gathering already giving you the fastest gathering time possible you also want 5 extra large energy potions to maintain your energy for continuous gathering beyond that the potion of swiftness for an additional 20% the secret book of old moon a canvas of buff for the more energy and drops and a life book for more XP I'm also choosing to use the embroider gathering clothes for more XP rather than Manos this will reduce your overall profits if you do choose this route but XP is calculated in a way where this actually gives you more in the long run +3 is usually sit on na+ fours come in every now and then and somebody for the love of God please send me a +5 pets can also give a large amount of experience to lastly before we get started we need to talk about mouse movement most movement is very important for efficiency in this area you can enable in the settings and this will allow you to right-click on Earth's and gather them from a slightly further distance removing the need to travel between each herb it takes some practice but learn it well if you wish to become a master gather as mentioned before we're doing this in there just south of the city there's a large patch of wild herbs on the ground most of them are gathered well you'll figure them out after a few thousand loops or so if you're planning on pushing you're gathering to guru and Beyond expect to become very good friends with this area at 421 Energy I can pop Xcel Energy pods and gather for almost exactly one whole hour before running out so I suggest looking into getting that energy cap up if you're still below that it's worth it if you intend on doing any serious gathering beyond today so let's get our pets out and get our hedgehog fed up because this skill doesn't proc if he's starving by the way well let's get our buffs on and let's go I'm also going to pop my to life experience guild bus if these are available to you that's an additional 25% experience on top of everything else I'll let you guys watch a loop just to get an idea of what this actually looks like next let's touch on repairing if you have a tent you can place it and repair on the fly if you don't there is an NPC and bear that will repair for you without you having to travel far keep in mind that having a tent will save you 30 seconds per repair and if you don't have a branded mouse tool 240 durability you may be making some very frequent trips down here and this is going to reduce your overall efficiency because bear has high quantities of gathered wills you will find that your inventory is going to overload very fast whether you have 3000 weight or not there's a few ways to combat this first you can trash your worthless herbs - the fire flake flower and the upper lasting herbs most these are gonna sell with some given time but you will gather more than you're going to be able to sell in the long run so you can just trash them out same with the trade items I do keep the trade items on my main with all of the weight as I get over 100 per hour and I bring them with me to trade in when I do crates in Valencia there are forty three thousand and sixty four thousand silver respectively per with the desert tray buff second you can use maids if you have them with the camel buff I can move two thousand Arabs at a time and this allows me to horde my herbs for collection purposes there are other uses for them but that's for another time third you can use your horse to hold the highest Kermes stack you have reducing the load off your character I personally use the maids and the horse stacking methods and I keep pretty much everything however on this all I'm choosing to trash everything I couldn't made because of weight restrictions now something I'm terrible at is keeping a close eye on your buff timers utilize your energy potion after you've used your first 50 energy and keep the cooldown rolling using every 10 minutes after and that should equal five energy pots per hour also don't forget your verdure and swiftness as well ah time work time we're all done our hour here and I'm going to let this patient fellow know we're done just as a side note bear can only support one person at a time so use the chat to not be a jerk so we ended up getting two artisan to about 65% of the way through and it's the old about 110 million wind drops at the current pricing these numbers are going to vary dramatically with each of your individual setups so keep that in mind my mastery went up 210 points from this endeavor alone and it yielded a 975 total mastery with everything equipped on my career remain at 1450 mastery I expect to see about an average of 150 million per hour without the herbs which is fairly average I still mix Barry into my gathering even though meat is far more profitable because Barry yields almost four times the experience that meat does for just a bit of a dip in profit so the majority of my time spent getting to guru gathering was spent here so get yourself very used to it so that was a lot of information for you guys but I feel like this is going to equip you with the knowledge you need to successfully start into your fledging gathering career it's also fantastic for quickly leveling alts to get that juicy life Fame as this is what I did in the video you can further power your alts up to master one and leave them at farms from milk gathering as well there are so many different uses for this so I hope you achieve what your goals are whatever they may be thanks again for watching as always it's a pleasure take care and have a great day
