THE HEAT IS ABSOLUTELY BAKED INTO THE TRYVALLEY AT 108 DEGREES. THE HOTTEST DAY SINCE SEPTEMBER 9th OF LAST YEAR. BY THE WAY, THE HIGH OF 109, THE SAME TEMPERATURE REACHED IN LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, THIS AFTERNOON. ABOUT 21 DEGREES ABOVE AVERAGE IN LIVERMORE. SAN JOSE, SLIGHTLY ABOVE AVERAGE. ONE REGION THAT IS NOT IN THE HEAT ADVISORY, THE BAY. AND MID-90s AROUND DOWNTOWN SAN JOSE AS WELL. LOOK AT THOSE SPREAD OF NUMBERS HERE. FROM 60s NOW, SAN JOSE TO HALF MOON BAY. THE GOOD NEWS THAT WE HAVE IS THAT THERE IS JUST ONE MORE DAY OF THE HEAT ADVISORY FOR THE SAME AREAS EXPERIENCING THOSE 90s AND 100 DEGREE TEMPERATURES. COOLING IS ON THE WAY NOW. WE WILL SEE THE BREEZE PICK UP TOMORROW AFTERNOON. AND FOURTH OF JULY, TEMPERATURES ARE TRENDING ABOUT 20 DEGREES COOLER FROM THOSE INLAND HIGHS.
