I'M GOING TO PLANT SOME MILK WEED IN MY BACKYARD. >>> WE CAN FEEL THINGS CHANGING, JEFF AFTER SOME RAIN OVERNIGHT. >> IT WAS SO NICE. WE'RE KIND OF GETTING THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS HERE. WE GET SOME RAINFALL AND A WINDOW OF SUNSHINE. THEN WE'LL SEE SOME MORE RAIN CHANCES HERE AS WE LOOK AHEAD TOWARDS NEXT SEVEN DAYS. YOU CAN SEE ON OUR SATELLITE RADAR AND STORM RANGER, THE STORM SYSTEM IS GONE. WE PICKED UP SOME DECENT TOTALS. EVERY DROP COUNTS HERE. .32 OF AN INCH. THE PATTERN TOMORROW IS GOING TO SCHANG UP AGAIN FOR US. I WANTED TO TAKE IT TO THAT. THIS IS VERY IMPRESSIVE LOOKING. LIT BE A LOT OF RAINFALL COMING OUT OF THIS STORM SYSTEM. ALL OF IT IS GOING TO BE STAYING OFF TO NORTH. WITH THE STORM TRACK SO CLOSE TO US, BIG CHANGE WE'LL UNDERGO IS SOME CLOUDS AS WE ROLL THROUGH TOMORROW AND REALLY THROUGH THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. I WANTED TO SHOW YOU WHERE THE RAIN WILL BE IN CASE YOU'RE TRAVELING OFF TO THE NORTH. ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY WE'RE LOOKING AT ONE INCH AND HIGHER AND WE'RE AVERAGING ABOUT A QUARTER TO HALF INCH HERE OVER REDDING AND RIGHT OVER TOWARDS THE SIERRA. WE MAY GET ON A BIT OF DRIZZLE. THE WIDESPREAD RAINFALL WILL STAY AWAY. THAT MEANS AS WE STARTED OFF TOMORROW MORNING, NO NEED FOR ANY SUNGLASSES AND MAKE SURE TO HAVE YOUR GLASSES. WE HAVE THE CLOUDS IN PLACE THROUGH TODAY. IT'S ALSO GOING TO BEGIN CHILLY. LOOK AT THIS, TEMPERATURES DOWN IN THE 40s ACROSS THE TRI-VALLEY. WIND KICKS UP A LITTLE. THE SOUTH BAY AT 52. I HAVE MORE OF THOSE UPPER 40s AND LOW 50s. EAST BAY, SAN FRANCISCO AND THE NORTH BAY. LET'S MOVE IT INTO THOSE DAYTIME HIGHS AND THEY DON'T BUDGE A WHOLE LOT SO IT WILL FEEL LIKE NOVEMBER, FEEL LIKE FALL OUTSIDE. DOWN HERE IN THE SOUTH BAY IT WILL BRING US TO 67 IN SAN JOSE. TEMPERATURES REALLY VERY SIMILAR TO THE EAST BAY. 67 IN ANTIOCH. PENINSULA WITH THE CLOUDS. SAN FRANCISCO, I HAVE IT AT 65 IN THE MISSION AND MOVE IT OFF TO NORTH. 64 SANTA ROSA. MY SEVEN-DAY FORECAST WILL SHOW MORE CHANGES COMING OUR WAY. ONCE WE HIT SATURDAY, IT WILL BRING US THE POSSIBILITY OF DRIZZLE. WE'LL KEEP THE CLOUDS INTO SUNDAY. SET THE CLOCKS BACK ONE HOUR. ONCE WE ROLL INTO MONDAY AND TUESDAY, WE ARE STILL MANAGING THE HOLD ONTO THIS STORM SYSTEM. IT HAS AN ATMOSPHERIC RIVER TAP WITH IT. IT'S NOT THE STRONGEST BUT WE'RE LOOKING AT ANYWHERE FROM A .1 TO AN INCH. WE DRY OUT FROM THAT AS WE HEAD NEXT WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. FOR THE INLAND VALLEYS, TEMPERATURES ARE LOOKING PRETTY SIMILAR HERE. PLENTY OF LOW 60s. BY NEXT THURSDAY, WE'RE BACK UP TO 70. THIS -- I DON'T THINK WE HAD A PATTERN LIKE THIS IN OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER PROBABLY IN 6, 7, 8 YEARS WHERE WE HAVE SEEN THIS RAIN, DRY, RAIN AGAIN. >> BIT OF A WARM UP. >> IT'S
