civil engineering students so you should remember these points and these useful basics which i am telling you in this video let's start guys the topic is some basic knowledge for civil engineers to remember on site also for non-civil engineer it's very important first of all first basic point is related with soil bearing capacity guys bearing capacity of side should not be less than for the required design load especially for building construction guys most of the people they don't know the bearing capacity of the side that what is the bearing capacity of style they don't know that in which you are making construction because uh you don't know that what type of style is that in which you are making construction so therefore first of all if you want to make a good structure okay so for that you need to find the bearing capacity of style because we have different types of style and different types of style haze different bearing capacity so therefore guys bearing capacity of style bearing capacity of soil should not be less than required design load how if the bearing capacity of the soil is very low and you design a structure on that side so of course it will be fail after some time because it can make settlement due to low bearing capacity right for example how if the bearing capacity of the cell is for example f s b c this is just example remember example okay for example if sbc style bearing capacity of uh bearing capacity of the cell is 5000 kilo newton 5000 kg for example per meter square if this is the bearing capacity of sci 5000 kg per meter square the beam also the thickness of the slab etc so it depends on the structural design but up to five meter distance between two rcc column is quite safe but remember guys the grade width width minimum
