BART: How to Buy/Use a Clipper Card on BART 2021 4K

what is up everyone so I've gotten a lot of requests after the the BART video to do a Clipper card video so I'm going to do just that today we'll go through how to buy a Clipper card how to put money back on a Clipper card and how to use a Clipper card all right let's get started okay so in order to buy a Clipper card you will first use the ATM thing and put your card in I'm going to do that now remove and you go to debit ATM card and you do your password uh enter and a $3 issue carf will be charged you want to continue then you go to yes and then um it'll automatically start off at $20 in your Clipper card I don't want all that since I'm buying this one I'm just going to do the minimum amount just for now of six six is the minimum amount you have to have send you issue issue Clipper card with $3 eers value okay so then we'll go to this and then it'll ask you if that's okay for the fee you go to yes and then there you go and then you can get a receipt if you want yes so now you have a brand new Clipper card there's our receipt so when you want to add money on your Clipper card all you have to do is tap it right there so and then it'll allow you to insert your ATM card or whatever you're using I'll do that right [Music] now I put my credit card and you yank your credit card out immediately and you go to I'm using a debit card and then you'll use this for your passcode and then it'll start you off with $10 extra like $20 that's what they start you at but you can subtract right here cuz I'm only going to uh 24th admission so that's $12 you don't need 20 so subtract 19 18 17 14 13 12 uh yeah $12 flat and you go up accept e purse upgrade to 1810 no no no you don't want to do that but yes you do yeah then you upgrade it do you want to continue yes and you got to touch your Clipper cart on the thing one more time so you're going to touch one more time then it'll ask you if you want a receipt and you can go to whether yes or no I'm going to say yes your receipt comes down here so now you know how to get a Clipper card and how to add money to a Clipper card so with your Clipper card in order to get on you don't you do not put it in here you do not you touch it on top of here so ready there you go okay that's how you use the Clipper card and everything else
