Watching the sandblasting is just incredibly satisfying.

should've put a strip of fabric on the metal piece that holds down the keys so they wouldn't rattle when they bounce back after being pressed.

After a bit of Googling I've found a bit of info on this piano - it's a rare early 1900's (late 1800's according to some sites) toy called Uncle Sam's Baby Grand Piano made by the Durable Toy & Novelty Co.

The one on the above site looks in reasonable condition given the age but of course if the one in the YouTube video had gone up for sale in its original very rusty condition I doubt if it would have sold for anything close to $325

Here's one for $85 -

This is the kind of video I thoroughly enjoy watching. I didn’t think the toy piano could be restored that well. It appeared so frail. When he disassembled it I was surprised none of those rusty metal parts crumbled to dust.

And now, after all, I can’t stop thinking of Schroeder from The Peanuts, and his tiny piano.
