you want to take our disk lock pin and and install it in a disk drum lock - once we have our pin through the hole we can rotate the disk and insert the pin to make sure that we have a positive lock on our desk well we'll put our breaker bar on and break the torque nut loose from the bolt on all six bolts on one side when changing your knife bolts you want to make sure you always ratchet from the nut side because your knives are sharp you want to add all your pivoting from from the side when removing your knife bolt you want to do all your ratcheting from the nut side and on the the opposite side over here we have the knives with a very sharp so the less movement twisted and turn on that side your you're not going to cut yourself if you do all your wrench it on the nut side now that we have our knives removed before we put a new set of knives and a while make sure that the surface here is clean of all debris plan installing new knives make sure there's going to Bri on the backside of the knife where it fits up against the face of the desk and well installing the nuts make sure the locking device is on the outside the flat surface is in towards the disk and if this ring should ever be missing you need to replace that nut as that is our locking device once we have all the nuts started we want to start with snugging down the bottom center bolt of that night a bolt tight I'm going to move to the top center bolt to Snug that once the bolts to Center bolts are snugged up you want to align this knife edge make sure our names are nice and straight now that our Center bolts are our snug what we're going to do is cut the top and work our way down ratcheting from the nut side keeping our Allen headed side rigid so we don't cut ourselves on those new bands hopes on our snug and tight we want to take our tour Frank and set up to the specified court setting and stare at the center and again work our way work our way up once our nice or torque we want to make sure that we swing a drum rock down and place it on this holder after these steps are completed and the clearance from the anvil to the knives is okay double check to make sure that all tools and other debris are removed once this is completed with the safety chain still attached remove the yoke lock pin and slowly lower the top feed wheel to its normal position remove the safety chain from the yoke and attach the easy climb springs for the top yoke carefully close the chipper hood and reconnect the chipper hood engine disable plug install the padlock from the hood pin and insert the hood pin for additional information please call bandit industries or contact your local authorized bandit dealer you
