[Music] all right oh oh here's a rough spot [Music] hey guys [Music] if you rake this together your swap would be more than the no would be more than your uh baler could handle trust me on that one but i figured i'd do a quick live stream india in the green bastard i can't name with that because the little rock and robbie's roadhouse there is one green old f-150 is uh the green bastard part's unknown so how's the hay crop doing overall really good i think it's one of our one of our better crops we've had because we've actually had some timely rains this year unlike some of the years past so yeah this that's not all if you'd say a good year great year whatever it would be a normal year i guess you could call it just kind of nice maybe a little better than normal oh straight pipe acres is here are you bailing or cutting or what are you doing there hey you know i'm open to a higher capacity baler and a v-rake if you want to buy it for me but until then i'll stick with my stuff that's paid off if that works for you how many bales an acre oh i'm thinking around that three to four if i was a betting man the acres on this aren't really exact just because it's a pasture i mean a strip along the creek that goes through uh the main the home corner here but uh 80 90 acres of grass here but you can see how much a guy has to leave because you can't get to it you can't cut it too rough and uneven and then we left the north end out for the cows and there's probably 25 30 acres here kind of dealing so i gotta take her slow in here because jesus is in rough the south end it's really bad over here and it's really windy out it's starting to make the uh swathes around so that's real handy oh you're working on the 1680. you got a plan yet on how you're going to lift that out of there you're just going to strong arm it and throw it off the side ryan's working on he needs to put seals in his pto on the 1680s so he's having a good time i think oh well i thought you're supposed to be grading or mowing or something there father i see your comments why you two are quiet you probably don't even know you're in here uh alfalfa you'd get two cuts grass i don't think you would i don't know i've never seen it on grass anyway well that'll make good youtube content with the male spear some little showers and floating around so that's real good what's one up to well he doesn't like this baler he likes the hardcore so he's running the 4440 in the hardcore on the alfalfa land we rented so he's failing over there and i'm bailing this kwanzaa you're gonna get a paint that's a plan this winter i hope he's kind of cheap though so i might have to twist his arm a little bit but he'll do it bloody wind buggered up my twine hey watch out here ah so these balers are kind of crappy how they drop the twine the wind can really with it see it fell down now of course because i got out but it just it catches the design holds it in the knife and as your finger comes down it pulls the twine and then when it hits the end the knife opens and it drops the twine on the spot but the wind got a hold of it and flipped it up on top but anyway fire it up and you should be good to go again no this is native pasture land i don't know if you around trying to fill in low spots and stuff i think you'd make more of a mess than what you'd gain so [Music] there we go now we're tying never had much to do with board tractors so it's really slippery grass i like to put lots of twine on it if you don't end up with some pretty shaggy looking bales so how's the french doing they're all pretty good i need to make a video of them here one of these days what's the difference between a hardcore and a soft cora you answered your question with your question the hardcore starts packing the bale as soon as the hay starts going in whereas a soft cord just kind of flops around the middle stays soft there's no you don't start packing the bale until it gets up and starts pushing on your roof belts basically so you can't make as heavy of a bale as you could with a hardcore but it's also uh gentler on your what you're veiling you can bail when it's dryer you can fail choppier stuff because you're not uh not beating the piss out of your material the entire time you're making a male the only time there's tension like i said is when it's finishing my uh monitor in here is kind of losing its mind i'm gonna get a new sensor for the uh door it just beeps all the time uh it doesn't really know when the bale is full or empty or what the going on anymore so got poor connection in it all it is is a pressure switch and as the door gets opened up then it'll beep once it stops uh making the connections so whatever just got off work okay done filling uh a toy high fire silo with tailing 14 hours of chopping not a beast of a silo boy that sounds like a big bin or not a bin i guess but a big silo how many tons can fit in something like that who would win in a fight well ryan might be a tough little bastard he's quite a bit smaller than i am but sometimes those little guys are the ones you gotta watch out for so i'll say it'll be a draw [Music] two best channels oh thanks glad you guys like it if you didn't like it i wouldn't be doing it so how's she going pretty damn good really getting bails made and sitting in the air conditioning and talking to a group of good so not so bad where are we getting another ih round oh i don't know when i see one and it pisses me off i guess where'd you get the new decals i got them custom made at a sticker shop i measured and traced them and everything and brought them into them and they recreated them for me speeds watching tv yeah i mean if i say something you don't like and tell me i'm dumb tv you're just sitting there screaming to yourself at the wall plan for the 700 i was gonna fix it this spring but uh if you remember we had to change those sun gears and planet gears in the 895 so that kind of took up my budget that i had for it needs head gaskets so it's on the list maybe next year it'll get done there are many people around who want to make around the roads uh there's not very many people that make there's hardly anyone with the cows anymore like i don't know it's kind of hard to say explain they're used to everyone used to have cows make a big ditch today but now there's uh really next to no one and uh they fuel them buy hay from me that are around ears so they really don't care if i make the ditch hey or not and then the other guys are fairly big farmers so they got enough land that it doesn't matter to them to have it in a so they don't really need the ditch whereas me if i had a quarter hey that's a quite a bit of acres i'm losing out on what i could be cropping [Music] so [Music] best paying crop in your area and with yields good [Music] canola because it's also the easiest to get rid of they always seem to want to take canola other stuff there can be a around to get rid of so [Music] oh thanks real nice say most of it's still there you never stand around it when it's running anyways so [Music] yeah there's people have porn up here but yeah that's a real pain in the ass that stuff up here we don't have the uh we don't really have the climate for it so we always end up combining and snow that's needy boy that's a pretty bale but oh well and what's everybody else up to out there today anybody else making hay are you getting rain or what's going on we never get antoine to talk while he talks when the camera's not on good time for you to grow barley thanks to our chinese friends well if you're being sarcastic or not but it's actually pretty shitty to have barley right now malt barley prices are way down there's no one drinking beer in the stadium so i've got some have had contracted since march and it's still here tennis ball-sized hail holy christ where was that at starting on a cabin up here in laurange that's nice country out there you're uh out by the lake or where you're building that up just kind of out in the woods how come no net wrap there's not i don't know network is one of those things that's kind of touch and gold like uh some guys want it some guys really don't on our bales that we sell and uh we make quite a bit of flax straw in the fall and they do not want flaxstraw they do not want net wrap at all on flax straws so it's kind of a kind of a waste everything i mean if we bought a baler that had it on it we would probably use it for some stuff or whatever custom mailing for people if they wanted it or not but most people are uh with twine so it's not really something that we've uh thought we needed to invest in so oh from new zealand currently in the tractor drilling green peas unless you get for bail of alpha uh we were asking i think 87 or 90 dollars of bail delivered and uh most guys didn't even bat an eyelash it's just one one neighbor he's probably watched he's kind of a cheap bastard he was he was kind of sad about that but ah make some tougher great brian no that's all right we most guys are fine with that and like antoine was saying too if there's anyone didn't really want to pay that much i mean we got to charge that much because we got it we're paying rent on the land it's coming from so we got to cover that cost plus it's delivered so if anyone didn't want to pay that price right now or whatever we're going to stock some at home here oh there's a big bump stocks up at home here and keep until this winter and then when guys are really needing it well they won't really have much of a choice so here's a big ugly norway what's going on we're just wrapping up some cow chow and i see rain showers floating around so we'll see how much longer this goes for see how the wind is making the real dry top part of the sloth flip away have to drive around and fail some of this place i guess get the stuff in between the rows after adding water to aerial sprayers oh boy that'd be kind of a cool job to be doing my great uncle actually had a spray plane like that he actually had just had an accident a couple days ago with it so he's all right as far as i know he cracked a couple rips maybe but for the crash he had he's pretty lucky that's all it was so hundred dollars for a 900 or a 900 pound bale wow now these are 13 50 1400 pounds and we're charging ninety so new holland yeah we uh grandpa used to have a 664. it was a real good baler but there's not many of them around and if you can find one they're totally worn out so one catch the twine there ya go buddy so this wind is a real pain like it is windy windy windy out so that's what i do too that's how you make a soft core bale that doesn't get all saggy you go until the tractor starts to work yeah i bet you that'd be cool that makes some pretty good youtube content square bailingly well i never did but dad sure made lots of those back in the day and he used to make some even when he had their own baler and he said you know what this is dumb make all these square bales for what like you got to make uh 12 or 15 square bales to one round bale you're going through all this extra work and maintaining a machine but all you got to do is pitchfork around bale anyways so piss on it he said and that was the end of making square bales but yeah they used to make a lot of them well used to be all there was really so then they got the new holland chain baler and that was that see how it beeps when i open the door but it's not beefing when the bale's done what year's the john deere is the very first year of the 4430 the 73 i believe it is neighbor burned his last sophomore last year he has three of them but they're all crispy now yeah this one's trying to burn a couple times that's why well well kai farmer man had even said in one video missing some shields and that's uh that's why they're not on anymore because otherwise it would fill with chat on each side around the bearings and the drive chains and that would get pretty warm in there so i can check here on antoine's tractor this winter yeah yeah we got a list of things we're going to do to it so south dakota now what did antoine pay for they were asking i believe it was 9500 with the loader in the blade and uh he talked them down to 65 so i got one boss down there and we got another boss over here yeah the whole track it's never been inside of a inside of a shop other than to get work done so going real slow here because jesus murphy is hit for off good thing a guy gets lots of bales on it or it wouldn't really be worth dealing with i think we're gonna get rained out it looks like that's coming straight for sir of course so shoot joy's a failing with duels on here look at this i knew i was turning a little sharp the first time i've done it this year so that's that's not bad doesn't really wreck anything you just gotta get out put it back on again flick the shield off ah let me put you down for a second while i put this back on here just a second [Music] boys cold snacks oh boy rick bark what a good guy leave it off i know i should i don't know why i bother keeping it on there but meh better to catch that and catch the chain i guess i just barely pickled it oh well we're dang near gotta bale again oh kevin going spring with the big apache all right okay you gotta move your legs over remember there antoine's got the tractor at the putty seat in it of course say he's not the one that's got kids all right uh planned with the proctor so like i said he refuses to sell them so i mean you can't really go steal it either so i think i'm gonna drop a gear here it's so rough over here [Music] love your car what a classic thank you it turned out not bad for what it looked like for people that don't know what the they're really doing you ever go to any farm shows in the states meet up with other farmers nope never have enough time for that too busy farming oh why's it gotta rain i just see it coming here see that who wants to make about two bucks as we get rained out here yeah it doesn't have the old style seat in it someone has changed it out because it's a mechanical seat i think they just put the newer cushions on it because that's something you can do wait i thought about putting that uh cushions like that on 40 20 and 50 20 the the newer style cushions but well we'll see it happens at 50 20 here this winter when we go all through them there i got a big list of things i want to do to him too so go for another half hour [Music] yeah maybe i'm thinking more like 10 minutes it's coming pretty fast that's five dollars u.s which turned into 680 canadians so you're right there uh gf another 46.40 you know while amanda wants to buy herself a tractor for cow stuff maybe run the hammer mill or the bale shredder and what thoughts and whatnot we looked at a 44 30 yesterday but there's a guy in line ahead of us and uh it sold but i told her what would probably be the best is just save her pennies for a little while and we'll try to find like a 4250 or something and i'll trade the old spray coupe off on it like a 4250 front wheel assist or something like that friend of mine bought a go around baylor wraps on the gold bailey yeah those continuous failures man that would be sweet you guys ever seen those uh self-repelled premiere balers those are going down cool too i'd like to try another one of those one day work for chicken right inventor of a 40 20 yeah that's i spent many an hour there too these guys got it made in the shade here riding in a john deere i had to bang my head off the window in a 1586 and a 1466. so what's your opinion on ford tractors they're pretty cool there's another one now she's right there boys we'll see see if we can make it around back to the start at least anyway yeah my hatred for it was beaten into the back of my head you don't need rain right now christ didn't tell me about it but it doesn't look like i'm gonna get much of a choice well it doesn't rain much it's real windy a guy might be able to start bailing again here later on or something see what happens but otherwise i'll go back to picking bales see what happens that's as bad as uh getting rain like that on that alfalfa rain on elf health has really been a couple little showers like a tent so yeah me and antoine have been best buddies since preschool so we go way back send that rain down to me okay hey off that way bud yeah i tried today by the sounds of it we don't got any raindrops yet but she's right here what do you do way yeah mr red mr adam waiting to see your new cables when they show up there to see if they actually work for you or not we like softcore bales i think they're horrible well you know what sophomore bales think you're horrible i like them i don't know they're easy to pitch for uh way more gentle on dry material because you're not beating the out of it continuously they look pretty you get fancy designs there's another one [Music] off the bale a quarter hey nice hard to get a square meal and a cow with a round bale [Music] [Music] thank to the show how much do you think those weighed ah thirteen hundred thirteen fifty fourteen hundred that's kinda in the ballpark i think we'll have uh we'll really know what they weigh here with those alfalfa ones when we start selling them they're selling by the pounds so but i mean this won't be as heavy as the alfalfa obviously because it's grass but either way a bale is a bale so spraying beans right now i gotta go do some custom spraying for one buddy here this weekend again he's got a quarter of oats to do so they're calling for rain friday so i told him we'd probably come saturday if it rains friday we won't be able to bail or cut or anything or at least at least the morning after that anyway maybe after a guy will be able to get bone again but hello from denmark what's happening in denmark oh i see it's raining in town over there she'll be here shortly oh i've seen lightning over there too put her in b2 i know it could eat in b2 it's just it's so rough in here man i'm in a4 right now i in b1 b2 before but this tractor shifts like compared to the other ones there we go we're in b1 now we'll try it for a little while because that's once yeah this is 4430. he's out in my 4440 right now because he doesn't like running this baler he prefers the hardcore that does everything on its own so oh we got raindrops on the window oh it might go north we might shoot the gap here we'll find out feet away and stays there yeah you know what'll be all right if it goes it's raining real good over there by the looks of it that's where my cannoli is so she can rain all she wants over there it's fine with me oh come on guys we got 300 watching we only got 111 likes so you can do a little better than that guys you know i like the likes so like a quarter of a mile away i'm gonna see it coming across the wheat there oh yeah she's starting to sit on the windows we'll see we got another bale here so it's gonna get us it's gonna get us while we're tying so [Music] we don't look at it it's not there right we'll just look back here down at the ground right as he's a pretty good drop showing up on top of the bailey that isn't enough to shut us down yet but see what happens we'll go a little do another one here maybe and see if this is all it rains or not if we get much more all probably stop for 20 minutes here and let the wind uh blow it away that way and be real good again so see what happens sit on and see it's raining real good across the hill over there shane hulse buddy you haven't phoned me yet i was starting to worry that you fell into the silo there when you're unloading your wagons looks like rain yeah it does there's a big one over there too so that goes at the angle that one just went on that one's gonna square us right up so be what it'll be there's sweet all you knew about it horsepower sled yeah i think she's gonna get too wet right shortly we'll finish this bale off and that's gonna be that i think oh look at it rain over there i don't know if you can see that but about a half mile it just looks like uh sheets of rain coming down over top of the there yeah rain doesn't affect it enough to worry about wrapping them the amount of expense that would be would be astronomical so a million dollar rain can off for a while because i got a to me i need the million dollar sunshine right now so really got it flipped around here the flaws here's where your rake would be all right you don't need to make a second pass to get the stuff in between the rows off can you really justify a fifty thousand dollar rake to go and rake in between a few slots look at the rain there whoo getting a good soaking over there that'd be across my soybeans there no so they'll like that almost looks kind of white i have to make sure there's no hail or not go for a drive here later and see what i can see what do you think pia gonna be too wet to bail here shortly yeah i'm thinking so i don't see much dust coming off the baler anymore so i think that said we'll finish this bale and we'll probably stop for a little bit all right we got ourselves in a corner here and also see how it's sticking to the roof of the baler there i'll probably uh i said i'm gonna stop and just wait for 15 20 minutes will be all that it needs with the wind we've got oh well there's some real rough spots here now just crawling that's good oh there won't be anything ready though there might be some rye here in a couple three weeks that'll be ready but there won't be any wheat for quite a while be a couple months yet for that do for the hay what do you mean too much do when it's tough or wait till there's two on the head so you don't lose leaves or what [Music] i have enough room in here to bring the shotgun with me right now with both kids in here and the big fire extinguisher it's like that here sometimes too but right now the problem we've been having is it won't get dry so keep getting a little shot of rain every night you get a tenth here and a tenth there well it takes quite a while for anything to cure when uh it's gotta spend three quarters of the day just burning off that little shot of rain again other than curing the eight well i don't know i think we might be good to keep going that's all it's gonna rain this bailey's already dried off so i think we'll be good just as long as that stays over there and that one there's look at that sucker it's gone now we need that nice sun our barley and oats is two to three weeks old yet yeah my oats i want to cut for green feed here is just starting to head so be a couple weeks in before that gets cut so shooting seagulls on a live stream it would be but youtube and their liberal logic they would be offended by that and my channel will probably get taken down so you know guns are evil right they kill people but got nothing to do with the guy holding the gun that's all to do with the gun just like how when you spell a word wrong it's the pencil's fault it's a spoon's fault you got fat so nothing to do with the guy holding it what do you do with the rye there just the gun all they get it gets combined and uh flour out of it and bread and oh boy this is another good spot big rye to mix with your coke makes a good drink go to jail here for popping the sea rats yeah well here too unless there being a pest so say they're all over your equipment and everything else and they're a pass and then you can shoot them so hello from tirana oh she going in toronto well i do my best mommy's in town getting her hair done so everybody's up for ripping the baler today instead follow them on for fertilizer mooseman's sass you're not too far away from me buddy boy she's black there we just won't look that way jeepers what if i told you guys they almost got a male again it's the tool not the operator yeah that's exactly it well the sun's going away again because i think that's coming this way there we go hi from kentucky well he's close to the reserve where he's at right now so i might be kind of scared to know what he's chasing up there oh the crop checking car hasn't gone anywhere for a few days here we've been busy with this but they actually got an invitation from thanks to the corona buyers and they wanted me to go with them but that was the day that we had to put the 4440 back together so never got to go but whatever maybe next year maybe this fall or something i'm sure they'll be doing another one he's so i've just had a couple phone calls so i'm gonna end the live stream and phone them back and see what they were i guess but we will definitely do another one of these here one of these days so i guess thank you guys for watching and coming for your ride keeping me company here for an hour and yeah i guess talk to all you guys here in the next one you
