Bali Inspired BEST Designed Van Build EVER - Heated Floors, 900 ah Lithium, 600 Watts Solar

hey guys what is going on I am with a really well designed amazing put together van and now company tiny tiny planet this van is one of the most like really well designed vans that I've seen thank you thank you so we're going to get into all that information right now I've got Sophia and I've have Dennis but Dennis is a little camera shy so we are going to put Sophia on and she's the only one that's miked up yeah welcome so Sophia before we even get started what van are we in this is Mercedes Sprinter 170 wheelbase 4x4 it's a long wheelbase that allow us to put all necessary things for full-time living inside this van we live in this van full time now so This one belongs to you in Dallas yes so we build Vans but we build this model for ourselves full time out of this yeah but you also build for people yeah so we have exactly I mean we don't build ourselves we have Builders so we all now attached to shops in Sacramento and Glendale Arizona local shop here yeah so we hire people to build it for us our first van we built ourselves by ourselves it was a year ago it was a ProMaster it was pretty and I uploaded video on YouTube and people like it it got like about like 600 000 views and the guy our first customer from YouTube it was so much organically we didn't even think to start a business our first customer he just said okay where should I wire I want this exactly the same van that you have so we started the company the van for that guy we already didn't build ourselves so we started hiring people to do it we opened the shop took a long time for us now our company exists like less than one year Dennis helped me this is we just started to build our 11th eleventh fan 11th band yeah that's quite a bit you said about a year yeah less than one year yeah we started a lot of workers there's a lot of workers I'm so tired so granted we are filming this at the end of an expo yeah we are trying fast and we and this is the end this is the last day in the last hour like nobody's here this is after hours so thank you for doing this we leaving this man full-time and we are like cruising around between our shops from one shop to another visiting other places traveling skiing traveling for business isn't traveling nice at the beginning of this video this is one of my favorite designed Vans you are the designer from one of them I am yeah I used when I was young I wanted so much so bad go to study interior design parents sent me to study marketing for some reason finally I got this opportunity to design events interior designer of this van all our vans marketing director this layout is really phenomenal because you put a swivel here in the front and then you have a seating here yeah and look at this I will show you so sure this is the bench but you can put it down so usually in our first design it was like this so you can see it across of each other to have dinner like this or you can create this bench and lie down like this to work on the computer sure and also if you take this table out this create a single side bath and we already like tried it for one night I slept one night and then it slept one night it's a scene one like it's a good size bed for a guest lighting behind you is really just cool and amazing and just a second ah you're gonna change colors on me yeah this is okay we have four separate zones uh you can change colors and we really play with it we change it depends on your moods and the mood yeah yeah if you want actually you also have some or something like this one time you had it like we had a party inside it was a party bus you can change the light in separate zones like a shower toe kick and this light yeah um and then we have one more wine yeah this is a small town yeah it cost me a 12 volt 12 volt custom pool got it I compliment you on your your countertop because I was interested to do the same type in my tiny house because I'm going with an industrial Vibe but you were like it took me forever to find this countertop yeah I wanted so much to we first of all we visited Bali some years ago so I was inspired so much by ballet design and I wanted so bad to recreate in this event I know very well that Bali design must include concrete countertop much time to find something that can be similar to a concrete but not so heavy as a concrete right so this one is acrylic Stone it's similar to Korean and if you're familiar with its name yeah it's different brand but it's still acrylic Stone it's it's light enough it's very easy to clean it's much better than barcher's block to maintain out of sight of the mind I know that you guys have what in the floor yeah heated floors but it's not electric it is hydronic heated system yeah Timberline so we have 150 feet of glycol pipes under the floor that run glycol and also this heated system heat Water and Air in the van so we said we have some air goes from here and here and the all all the time we have heated floors warm floors War like hot water hot shower we just came from Mama's it was five fahrengade freezing temperature outside you could walk Barefoot inside the event feels so cozy in this pajama shorts oh I've had a very similar system I know you guys use the Timberline LL system now Timberline doesn't sell the floor system yeah you did it we upgraded you upgraded you did it you did a kind of a DIY version of their system yeah yeah so which please everybody don't do what Dennis has done it took a lot of time and effort for him to do this a lot of time three months just to engineer everything and they actually send and uh like kit with the heated floors but there's not nothing like to hit the forward so another pump but yeah we added uh the whole uh system of pipes we figure out how to install these pipes and we even have a pipes underneath our shower pants so we still hit floor in the shower yeah custom-made stainless steel shower pan consulted with Timberland we were always in contact with them to like it and they were so proud they came to the first Expo when we showed out this van and they said we want to see what you finally built with our Timberland system it's pretty cool yeah it's very cool actually again you went with you went with a good is that the same Stone as what's in here yeah before so talk to me about the stone so yeah this is one more very cool feature and this is very high-tech material this is a natural stone veneer it's only two millimeters it's very lightweight and it's flexible people so never crack where did you get that from you can you want to share your secret King slate yeah King slate King Slide the name of the company they have I'm probably gonna steal that they have bunch of cards just letting you know I'm probably gonna steal that a bunch of different colors but it's not color it's natural color of the stone so they just created this technology to wax the stone and sell it in a and we created this Bali tropical shower with natural stone wall and this Greenery you and your Bali again yeah shower stall is pretty big can you see yeah I also want to point out how tall are you yeah I know you're probably using like a centimeter yeah centimeters one 165 centimeters which I have no idea what that is but if I had to guess you're out five four five five five okay yeah you have plenty of Headroom now I'm five eight I don't know what that is a centimeters everybody I could stand in the very comfortably so you can stay still very comfortable you built up you built up the floor because you need to fit that piping in there but here did you do that the shower pan do you see that the level of the shower pan is low way lower the floor yeah so for their heated floor we had to increase their uh the level of the floor just because we added some pipes uh insulation like all the things so we just used how did we do it either installation for a shower pan and we still have one heated pipe running yeah because it is a stainless steel so it's like the heat of this pipe is expanding to the shower pan like almost to full uh yeah and also for the reason that this shower pan is flat because usually a shower pan must have some angle to drain the water but we designed this custom-made yeah everything is custom made this shower pan is customized especially for our vans with four drainers in each corner so it doesn't matter how you park your van the water will always drain the genius toilet that we have the genius toilet yeah people laugh over toilet and and know us very well for this feature so in all our builds we have toilet that is hidden you see there is no toilet inside showers no I didn't see it in there but for most people would keep it those right in there yeah and we have to let it hidden right here so you just push to open this door and you slide and it's a separate ready toilet everybody yeah they're a really nice toilet toilet doesn't stand the way of showering power usually is so you have a plaintiff room for showering and you have a full two little for do your private stuff do your private stuff this is close too yeah very very very impressive what is this because this is a really pretty wood this is I think a lot of people would like yeah this is natural uh White Oak that we color it uh by Rubio monocot oil so if that is not a cheap effect really expensive it's really expensive and it's really time consuming yeah I spent I did it I did because we did it for the first time I didn't like trust no one do it because it's so you're gonna like spread it you have to like do like this yeah like all everything all the surface inside like all yeah because it's like it's almost like a wax it's like a it's it's very but it's very protective they uh have some colors that you can choose from yeah 12 maybe and these colors it's custom color we design ourselves so we just mixed uh Emerald color that they have it was so bright together with this Castle Brown uh I just did so many samples to get this exact color that I want for my tropical Bend um I just put the camera down here what is that this is the dishwasher tiny dishwasher tiny but not tiny it's sets of dishes so you put you put a dishwasher in your van yes so the only thing your van might be missing and maybe I'm wrong maybe you guys have it is a washer dryer yeah I'm missing right you know why I I think that it's so simple to park next to the laundry put your stuff wash it right come back to your apartment she's right everybody stuff like why that's amazing I got a little dishwasher in here that's perfect for what you guys need yeah I love it so much it's the first van that we install dishwasher and I really love it I will install it in all our vans that we will live in so you guys have very robust heater in here you have a dishwasher but is this a for true Four Season van we're in Arizona right now can we handle the 100 degree weather yeah you can we can we have cruising Comfort AC it's turned off right now because we're inside right now so yeah crazy Comfort the most efficient one we love them so much these guys are so creative is this a is it a 12 volt system yes 12 volt system no no this vanity built in August to finish this built in August so we have been traveling in this event for three months now but you had it during summer so you went to Burning Man okay and people are in the desert like stocked for three days I want to pray on it okay so that that did work in burning man yes if anybody knows where Burning Man is that's in a very hot climate yeah very hot climate we couldn't start engine to charge batteries we just used solar uh we had we have pretty big Power band that was enough for us to run AC for three days so let's talk about power what do we have for Power 900 empowerment 900 amp hours battery tank yeah and 600 watts of solar on the roof because yeah I want to show you something else this is a fridge and some people say that wow it's really cool that fridge is not here it doesn't have to like do it like this every time fridge is in high position so you have easy access to everything you need because you need it many times penetries and wine rack of course of course yeah wine racks this is a bougie van vibrick is always empty and this is also a step to climb up to the boat that's perfect we've got we installed a heavy duty wheels down there so it's not special for us we never use it but it's for people like older age so they don't want to climb on the bed yeah because you this is maybe yours but you are building this exactly yeah yeah exactly right other people yes right so we just repeat it so yeah so you have what two floor plans you said two floor plans yeah and three different interior designs cool very nice well let's move to the outside if that's okay oh wait actually I want to know the bed yeah there's a full-size bed okay mention the full size bed we install just one players on one side that's interesting only one player yeah that's pretty cool only one flare it's it's pretty enough for us on the opposite side we have a leather we didn't want to put leather uh on the rare doors because we didn't want to cover a window so it's full size bed it's enough for us however for all clients uh we can uh increase the white of the bed uh up to Queen so we just have to eliminate these penetrates and little bit six inches of kitchen it can be a queen size plus one player clear uh I would like to say that with our 43 gallons of water 43 gallons of water yeah we can as long as 100 minutes of shower because we have very efficient oh yeah our head it's it is just 0.4 gallons per meter I know this company yeah maybe I buy more yeah yeah I love them so much but so you guys only used the wand portion of it you didn't use the other because other is not so efficient it's only this 0.4 other is like 1.1 4.5 yeah 1.5 so we want I love it so much it's Mist so it's it's great like a spy experience especially with this light inside so that's only 0.4 yeah 0.4 wow so yeah you can take long shower the water going through a heat exchanger that's continuously hot yes unlimited unlimited for 100 minutes [Laughter] so you don't you probably don't do the military style showers yeah I like to enjoy like at least five minutes of a hot shower I need at least 10. okay so we can do that for about five six days so yeah so 15 minutes a day yep yeah that's pretty good it's pretty good guys right there I like it a little bit tricky you have to be very creative to find a way to use just this shower head without their main one yeah to attach it because they didn't design it in such way what if I had oh I guess can you have the main and that right I'm thinking because you can shut the main off you can do it but with this one uh they install like this connector that is like uh it's like iPhone they have own connector the same way so they have all kinds that sounds like Moen just cut the hose and we connect it to the connector that we need yeah to leave it to an engineer to figure that out everywhere yeah now can we step outside is that okay now wow you have this huge drop down you know table double it looks like you've stored underneath this is a this is the table outside table and there's no wires or anything I think I saw a little thing that came out there so that's that's pretty nifty on how that comes out it works yeah ah look at that so in this part of the van we have outdoor shower as well can connect these holes and have outdoor shower we don't use it so much we use it just to clean our mountain bikes or surfboard from the sand so wash something else there's a dog that can wash your dog off exactly like the floor that's sliding so you have easy access for everything you need in the garage oh that's nice this garage fits mountain bikes if you uh take the wheels out of yeah this is their air they want to show electrical system yeah why not I mean if you guys are okay with it yeah yeah sure oh it's a whole panel to come off so that is the cruising Comfort right there yes um you ever made your own thing that says tiny planet on there yeah uh but you have victron components which is phenomenal I mean I don't know really what else to say about that that looks freaking pretty damn clean yeah what do you want to say about it 12 kilowatts of power yeah that system is clean everybody clean clean clean that's the name of the game right there again you fit a square peg into a circle hole that you did a great job with that we have these two fans to suck uh cold air in and the hot air can come out from that part and also we install all breakers on this side so you can just open one door you don't need to get inside to turn everything on and off and Main switch is accessible from the bed from the bed that's important look at that look at the lighting you have underneath the bed right there I didn't even see that that's some that's some Bali some Bali stuff right there yeah actually we have this in all ovens now what is this what is this over here what is that that crate for uh over there is Timberline hydronic system Ah that's so that's the Timberline system with the water yeah this is the water tank control here and there is Timberline and then you got the AC and then all the electrical oh my God you spend so much time to this 3D modeling to put all these things together in the garage and still having space to storage uh yeah that takes forever yeah that's what people don't ever understand we thought that uh half of our garage will be used for our battery Bank yeah we got three batteries then we figure out that we can put three batteries one on top of each other and we have just one inch in between the 80 20 aluminum it's just perfect now there you go I like it I saw the 80 20 aluminum in there so you use that for obviously you're you're like a structure the structure together yeah yeah um guys really really well done thank you Dennis thank you thank you Sophia Sophia Sophia I don't know Sophia Sophie but Sophia and the same same okay oh no one more thing sorry oh my goodness you're right you are absolutely right what did it talk to me about this okay I'll show you hit the ball I don't know I don't want you to hit anything so first of all you're miked up so I can hear you this is a cool place to sunbass and look at the Starry Sky and actually we did it did you sunbathe up there yeah we look at the Starry Sky in Arizona okay so good then also we have a hook to attach here a grill it's a marine Grill we don't have it with us right now and we have a gold you have golf because that's incredible balls those are weapons biodegradable balls yeah they dissolve some water they dissolve in water are you a golfer you're gonna hit that there you go no I will hit but a little bit it didn't go very far but that's okay so have you have you like teed off have you hit hit a ball off it yeah we tried I'm not professional uh gopher but I would love to study more yeah we park a couple times next to the ocean on a cliff yeah and yeah and play it's amazing it's just fun yeah it's not about like real professional players it's just fun and somehow you fit a whole bunch of solar up there too yeah and custom-made and we have uh three solar panels wow 600 watts of solar and uh and we still have room to uh play install some front light on the roof we didn't install it yet we decided that we can uh let opportunity for our clients to upgrade the exterior of the van because it's much easier to compare to Interior yeah so we leave Wheels as it is like our clients can install lights just front flights or uh 360 degrees right but traveling this van we went off-road we went to mammals this week like it was snowy we never had issue not having like some special wheels so I think it's easy to upgrade it in anything sure you can just buy some rack for bicycle and attach it yeah so we didn't do it for ourselves because we didn't see it's necessary you remind me about Mama threads before we went to mount Lakes We it was five degrees Fahrenheit and we upgraded our great system so now we have a heated heated gray Waters yeah yeah so everything is heated nice and so we can still have hot shower even if it's freezing cold outside that's beautiful uh thank you guys so much for showing us tiny planet the van you live in
