Backyard Bird Photography in December

hello everybody so today's gonna be a little different mostly because I went out this morning and couldn't find a single thing to photograph so I'm going to be doing some backyard for photography today I'm going to set up my blind and I have a little bit of a setup back here with my bird feeders we've got a little perch set up above the bird feeders I got some perches over here and another one back there as well so I'm going to fill up the feeders set up the blind and we'll see what happens [Music] foreign all right so the feeders are all filled up I'm gonna set up my photo blind I have a tragapan V6 photo blind I use it in the backyard a lot I love it it's perfect nice little tent it's a little cozy but it's all right um so I'm gonna set it up it's really quick and easy to set up so foreign I don't know [Applause] foreign back window only because it was a little too dark in here for the video oh we got four Windows to shoot through uh that's the direction that the feeders are [Music] so I'm gonna go get set up with my lens poking out and wait and see what comes up thank you [Music] Okay so ready to go and I just have to wait [Music] foreign [Music] the birds showed up almost immediately I've only been sitting here for about five minutes and they were a year [Music] now there's house sparrows more junk goes [Music] it's about 10 birds out there in front of me right now junk goes in Hell sparrows [Music] foreign [Music] the sun's starting to go down and that's usually when Birds feeders more often so hoping they come soon it's right now the light is perfect there's a nice light that's coming on the perch is nicely but we'll see if any birds come all the lights good or it's mostly been dark-eyed junk goes and house finches I'm sorry house sparrows but there are some chickadees now coming out but they're on the far feeder but they swoop down and go straight to the feeder rather than going on the perch hard to get a picture of them without a bird feeder in the picture but we'll see they're out and about so that's a good sign [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] well I think that's going to be it for me today in the blind got to see let's see four different species which isn't really that great for around here uh usually I see at least eight around the feeders eight different species so um but I did just set up the blind so some of the birds might have been scared I'm Gonna Leave the blind set up so they can get used to it again um and I can come back out here again and hopefully get some other pictures and some different species I am back out in the blind in the backyard again this morning so I was out last night only saw about four different species so I'm out again this morning I refilled the feeders um in there looks like there's a lot more activity so far so we'll see what we get [Music] thank you [Music] I I there's a squirrel in the tree above me now when it's an alarm clock [Music] thank you [Music] I'm just sitting here waiting for some more birds to maybe come around to hear them they're not coming to defeaters they're in the trees above me [Music] [Applause] thank you foreign [Music] well I think they'll do it for me today it's getting to be a little bit later the Bird activity is pretty much significantly dropped off but this morning I saw I I saw about five species but I heard about 10 different species of birds not all of them came down to the feeder but I definitely heard some up in the trees and around so that's an improvement from yesterday but sometimes they don't all come to the feeder but I hope you enjoyed this video I know it's a little different than what I'm used to or what you might be used to um but I'll be headed back out in the woods tomorrow to get some more of the usual content for next week but until then have a good one and uh see you then
