53 000 a month plus shares in a pre-ipo company and the last one says I'm still poor if it is per month you don't need benefits okay you don't I mean of course you would get health insurance if you work in medical hey guys welcome back to part two of revealing Dubai salaries and how much people make my name is Twinkle I am a 25 year old Indian living here in Dubai and I'm always very intrigued by conversations around salary and corporate and career growth so this is a series dedicated for you to learn the salary range in Dubai and also the other perks and benefits that people here get if you haven't watched part one yet make sure to click this link and stay tuned for part two make sure to also subscribe to my channel follow me on Instagram and Tick Tock and without further Ado let's get started I've got over 100 responses so I've shortlisted the most interesting ones let's get started 29 Tech engineering manager 53 000 a month plus shares in a pre-ipo company the perks are budget for conferences professional development co-working spaces and the last first one says I'm still poor how can you be poor making 53 000 Dirhams per month that just looks like poor budgeting skills it doesn't really look like any salary thing but well it has only 53 000 Dirhams a month I would be living my best life like that would be enough for me to feel settled and happy and content in my life I think but anyway on to the next head of Engineering in the aviation industry I transferred from the UK so my year salary plus bonus is okay what is this Euros pounds what is the sign I don't know because I keep getting confused 87 500 I get full medical plus dental insurance my flight's back to the UK are covered and my accommodation is paid for I've planned to return to the UK at the end of next year honestly I have no idea how much this is in dirhams but looking at the perks it looks like a pretty good job accommodation and transportation being covered saves you a huge amount in a year so looks like a good deal between 45 to 60 000 with minimum required benefits 45 to 60. I'm assuming that is per month if it is per month you don't need benefits okay you don't some sometimes I think I should have been a lawyer or a tech person because they make a very good amount but it's too late on to the next one 25 banking risk analyst 23 000 a month health insurance including Dental or night checks the early bonus which I haven't received yet in my tenure is set to be in the range from 20 to 30k Worx extra hours almost every day of the week but it's a great place to learn I work extra hours too I hope this person is saving all of this because it looks like they can retire earlier if they have a good financial plan like 20 is a good amount and also the insurance is our great dental and eye checks yearly bonus which I haven't received Works extra all I'm asking is whoever you are I'm 25 as well feel free to reveal who you are let's get to know each other next is 26 Aviation pilot hundred thousand dollars free flights okay I'm really confused whenever such huge amounts are there I don't know if it's monthly or yearly I'm assuming yeah I don't think it is monthly of course let's try to calculate how much that is in the rooms 30 000 Dirhams a month and free flights 26. once again reminding you I am 25 just putting this info out there yeah free flights next one not mine but my brother Works in Dubai he's 26 electronics and electrical engineer his role I'm not sure he just joined over one and a half years ago he earns only 2500 to 3000 per month and no allowances I see that most people get really good salaries from last video I want you to also show The Other Side yes of course I will show this as well because especially in the engineering field if you're not working for like one of the top companies I have seen that your salary can be very very low and there are no benefits like 2500 to 3 000 at 26 is hard like I'm not saying it's high or low but it is a difficult amount to survive in especially as a guy because for men they do have to think about manage and saving up for their family even though times have changed they have that added responsibility so yeah it's good to see the other side of Dubai salaries as well salary 10 000 Wellness allowance 500 phone allowance 150 plus air tickets Plus health insurance for zero to two years of experience I think that's a very good starting place what is Wellness allowance like this is why these videos are interesting because I had no idea what Wellness allowance is is that even a thing Wellness allowance next one assistant HR manager 6000 Dirhams why would they put up a manager with the designation if they can't pay us for that no perks just basic as per UAE leave medical annual leave air ticket firstly annual leave is not a benefit or a perk that is what a lot of companies I think say to make it seem like an added benefit but annually as a part of every labor law like it you have to get annual leave so a lot of companies also do this thing where they give you a good title and they make the title so appealing that you settled for lesser salary this seems like that situation because this person is clearly mentioned why would they mention manager and if they can't even pay that so good to know on to the next age 26 woman Consulting 27 000 per month oh that's a good amount especially to be making that at 26. wow oh that is so impressive like to be making that amount of 26. insane I'm actually so proud of whoever this is even though I don't know her I work as an event professional in the Middle East I make 30 000 the rooms plus housing transport Etc I get to travel often for work perks are front seats to all major concerts why didn't you mention your age and your gender because this makes it hard for me to react because if you're a woman I'm proud of you if you're a man who are you okay just kidding but wow event space Sephora freelancer 25 5 000 to 6 000 per month so that is about 17 to 22 000 rooms okay freelancer is what though like makeup artist do you work in the marketing do you work in the pr do you work in product design I don't know like what the job roles in Sephora look like but yeah this is what I want to know you know what you work as because that helps people put two and two together and really understand how far or how close they are to a certain role hey I'm 22 years old and I make 15 000 Dirhams per month I work within the beauty and fashion industry the bugs include work from home work from abroad insurance and more oh I would have loved to know what role this person is in it would have helped so much I work within the beauty and fashion industry because in the beauty and fashion industry there are so many roads so many things to do so yes I wish this person told me what role he or she is in because 15 000 is a very very good starting place for the fashion industry in my opinion this is actually kind of sad that I was making 5000 per month working as a marketing executive as compared to the person making 20 000 per month some companies will make fake promises and underpay you until you have a mental breakdown learned this the hard ways and ever again so this is in response to another answer that I had gotten where this marketing executive was making twenty thousand Dirhams per month so this person responded to that saying that is true companies of course will exploit you but it also has to do with the size of the company and how much money they rake in just sharing this anyway I personally know Marketing Executives who make 10 000 per month as well so it really I think depends upon the company but yeah of course companies will naturally they take advantage of people to cut costs that's just the way the corporate world is age 24 industry design role is Junior graphic designer salary 5000. I think this is the only graphic designer response that I got feel free to share your thoughts about the salary range because I can't really compare it to anything else and let's help this person out let's move on to the next one 25 Aviation Airline Cruise scheduler 10 000 Dirhams per month so we've got a pilot and we've got an aviation Airline Cruise scheduler age 22 industry real estate role is marketing coordinator salary is six thousand bucks include medical insurance rest and discounts for a few restaurants sorry I just want to make the connection between real estate and restaurants hey I live in Australia my monthly would be around five thousand one hundred dollars including my business and job if that helps you for your video 25 medical healthcare industry pharmacist average is 12 000 250 Dirhams per month not inclusive over time perks include health insurance equal pension contributions in excess of other notable companies option to work from home on a regular basis I mean of course you would get health insurance if you work in medical I'm a 24 year old working in supply chain I work as a supply planner and I earn 16 000 rooms per month with gold premium insurance no other perks that's such good salary for a 24 year old my sister works in supply chain as well she's a supply chain demand and Supply manager so she says that it's a pretty well paying industry accountant with 11 months experience 5000 the rooms per month I wish this person mentioned their age but 11 months probably mean they're pretty young I am a social media exec with the salary 5000 and only health insurance as my benefit and I work for a marketing agency marketing agency can be some of the biggest cameras and it has a lot to do with the fact that marketing skills in general in a lot of ways can be learned so there is a lot more competition and with access to like Instagram Tick Tock and social media marketing more people have this skill set now so it's easier for companies to also take 27 female it field software developer to his experience 5000 Dirhams Insurance flight ticket allowance is 1500 Dirhams four and a half working days Friday is a half working day I think it's a software developer field also the salary can be very different because I know a few software developers who make about 25 to 30 000 Dirhams per month so it's insightful to also see the slightly lower end I'm not saying this is low I'm just saying this in comparison to some of the other responses that I've gotten speech therapist the rooms 8 000 per month therapist aged 23 industry is I.T industry role marketing salary is 13 000 Dirhams benefits gym allowance health insurance free lunch hybrid role job is flexible need to work with required a lot of late nights boring and toxic as job and I resigned yesterday not everything as good as it seems wow that took a turn that took a big turn which I didn't expect the job is flexible I think whenever they say flexible it can go anyway either they are very flexible with your schedule or it is so flexible that they call you anytime I remember when I used to freelance with this company they sold it to me as you can work anytime according to your convenience because you know we're on a nine to five and that literally meant I had to get on calls with them at like 11 pm or even 1am in the night because the person that I was reporting to was working in the UK so whenever he wanted to get on a call with me I had to so flexible is not always good you have to kind of understand what a company's definition of flexible means 32 years old International procurement manager mining field 16 000 Dirhams per month is a salary this person also gets Insurance an annual accommodation is 75 000 Dirhams per month here in Dubai with 75 000 Dirhams you can get a one bedroom apartment in Marina or in say JVC you can get like a two bedroom apartment so 75 000 is a pretty good deal for accommodation it covers a very big chunk of your yearly expense bonuses based on performance about 64 000 annually for me so you can even pay for another person's rent with your bonus corporate mobile tickets to my home country twice per year this is a good bonus this is a good package I'm making 20 000 rooms as a Communications and engagement manager for a global well-being organization but that's because they don't do bonus stocks or any other benefits uh not really sure how I feel about that I get where the frustration comes from especially when you see other people making good amount plus bonus but 28 000 is a very good it's a very very good amount I'm not sure of the workload I'm not really sure of the other aspects of it but it's a pretty good deal 34 years old I work as an editor for a PR Company and make 17 500 Dirhams I deserve more though of course excellent Insurance ticket money once a year and work from home flexibility I'm very interested in like the pr and Publishing side of it because that is where I work but 17500 is a good deal I probably know this person by the way if they're based on the way I might know this person so that's fun 23 years old working in dxp airport as customer service agent for Donata our monthly salary goes up to five to six K or maybe even 7K depending upon the overtime we do and benefits would be free annual tickets discounted tickets for family and friends on to the next one 24 female earning 15 000 per month as a product designer working in fintech I get insurance visa and annual trip home and four weeks bonus I'm hired by a vendor and work in fintech as a consultant working in a radio network company for 5000 Dirham salary my job includes filming and editing videos creating content strategy creating social media content and all social platforms management plus website also includes event and campaign coverage on weekends perks are meeting people and venue exposure so the perks here that they say of meeting people and venue exposure a lot of PR companies publishing companies marketing companies sell it to you as a perk but that is not a perk perks are anything that has some kind of monetary value again I'm not saying this is a shitty deal or anything because it's not my place to say but I'm just raising awareness for this because stuff like meeting people that is something that you have to do as a part of your job it's not really a perk so I remember when I was young and if I used to speak to companies they would try to sell some of their basic things as perks to me which is oh you can do this you can go for this you can go for that when that is a part of my job so just be wary of companies saying this try I didn't really understand if it's genuinely a perk or if it is a part of the job I don't know what venue exposure means but yes age 23 Insurance role is analyst salary is 30 000 Dirhams including basic salary and housing allowance perks and other benefits one free airline ticket to Home Country per year insurance covers psychiatric treatment what does that mean like does it mean wait what what the psychiatric treatment mean that is so funny okay I think your manager who's ever manager this is probably had a really bad experience with their employee which is why now they're like go for psychiatric treatment flexibility in work from home twice a week timings are 9 30 a.m to 5 PM okay on to the next being an Indian lifestyle influencer I got two skin care brand deals for eight thousand dollars and ten thousand dollars most influencers do it as free of cost but they need to stop saying no to free I think you can spread the word for this this is for a 400 000 follower account by the way eight thousand dollars and ten thousand dollars this is actually one of the reasons that I'm currently trying to grow my social platform because in the corporate world of course there are rules that you need to abide by you know you have to wait two years to get any kind of promotion and that itself is up to the manager's discretion there are just so many things which I personally do not want to follow like I want more control over my finances and more control over the kind of lifestyle that I want so which is why I'm working on my social channels and so far it's been pretty interesting for me as well and this is a very good example of the fact that Brands will try to get away with not paying you but if you just know how to pitch yourself you can get deals for eight thousand and ten thousand dollars again this is not me saying that this is easy if you have a follower count of 400 000 of course you've put in a lot of work to grow but yeah it's possible this person is 26 financial analyst plus a freelance photographer basic is 11 500 Dirhams per month plus two to three thousand per month for freelance I love that this person is doing two things it's a good thing to say HRA Plus Fuel Plus Insurance Plus annual bonus plus annual flight ticket I need to be present at office only two times a week rest three days I can do work from home if I want which I love work from home is I live for work from home okay work from home is the best thing to have ever happened some people thrive in office environments and some people really Thrive being alone at home I'm one of them so yeah I get what this person is saying event production 30 000 Dirhams with medical insurance next one I'm a 26 year old 22 000 Dirhams per month marketing specialist at a bank here we have work from Office four days a week ten to four allowance for phone medical insurance compulsory 12 continuous days leave hold on ten to four you just need to work from ten to four and that to four days a week okay whoever this is get in touch with me not because I want to marry you because I don't even know this is the guy but this this seems like a fun job 22 000 per month and you only have to work six hours a day age 28 audit industry supervisor 14 000 Dirhams per month with health insurance benefits and a bonus eight percent of annual salary decent job have a team supervising six to eight people in my team annual appraisal firms is compulsory in my firm so I know where I am in my car foreign let's see I need to talk about this a lot of companies in Dubai do not do appraisals and it is the most confusing thing ever how do you not have appraisals in your company how do you not have set goals and kpis and targets so the fact that appraisals are compulsory is so so so important there are a lot of really really good employees who lose motivation because of the fact that they don't know where they're in their career because the company does not allow for that kind of transparency so the fact that this person knows where they will be next year and the year after that is so motivating this person's even said I know where I am in my career and hopefully manager next year let's see very very very important I don't know why companies don't do it it is so confusing you're literally demotivating your employees by not being transparent about their career trajectory next one age 25 industry audit role auditor salaries 8 000 rooms benefits is insurance free petrol free client lunches this is again another thing where a company tells you it's a free thing or it's a perk but it's not a perk free client lunches are not a book I used to be a social media influencer events executive but was only earning 6 000 Dirhams for an electronics distribution company while the Arab intern was earning more than me hope you can include race on your next video as this also plays a huge role my race is Southeast Asian I know in some companies Arabs get paid more but also in other companies Arabs actually get paid lesser not compared to Indians but compared to white people race is of course a huge matter I'm just not experienced or specialized enough to talk about it because it can be a very sensitive topic and I haven't been exposed to those many experiences yet to make a whole video on it but I understand that these are important topics to talk about 26 marketing and branding personal branding strategies 12 000 Dirhams per month personal branding strategies what a fun job I work as an interior designer I get 15 000 Dirhams per month I think we had another interior designer response probably for five thousand Dirhams I think hello 34 affiliate marketing I am a freelancer 40 to 50 000 Dirhams a month no benefits because I I'm freelancing I know what affiliate marketing is I'm just going to understand this person's role in affiliate marketing like what exactly do you do I'm a bit confused but 40 000 sounds good whatever you do this person is a consultant for Kearney which is a consulting firm entry level 3025 Dirhams A.D what that is 30 000 Dirhams per month for entry level can I enter if it is entry level can I enter apparently this brand is known to be the best sourcing procurement and operations consulting firm in the world no wonder you're getting paid 30 000 per month as a entry level Plus in brim genuinely trying to understand consultant what does a consultant have to do like what is their job their advisors to the world's foremost organizers what do consultants do I'm so confused Global Management Consulting firm I will do a whole job swap if I was making 30 000 Dirhams per month as an entry level person and with that we have come to an end of
