I'm gonna be the minority here, but I was honestly expecting something different. It's definitely a good quality video, but I feel that the song had a great potential for a more story like music video. But I am never usually happy with how most music videos are shot for any musician really. Maybe I'm not familiar with how most music videos are made, but I definitely could have seen this song paired up with some hired actors, costumed in armor and rags and swords, riding through a village on horses with a crowned monarch that tells his men to gather up the people or something. Plus there was way too much going on for me to comprehend what was actually happening. Too much scene switching within a short period of time. The bit at the end where the deathbat king sits on a throne was the perfect ending for me though.
I love this song to death, but I'm just not a fan of music videos where the musician(s) are being filmed singing and playing a story for the majority of the entire video.
