[Music] [Applause] [Music] thank you [Music] I tried breaking fifty six miles right open hey guys Brenda here and welcome to the next Vlog we're actually down at gippsland in Hayfield Forest here we're on recce it's only four degrees in the morning so it's a little bit icy bit muddy we've already done wreckier two stages the roads look awesome uh basically we did this rally last year when we did the fan belt in the Datsun but this time it's an arc so it's over two days so the same stages on Saturdays last year and then three new stages with the power stage on Sunday so Kate and I will go out drive all the roads we've got today's stages already and then we'll write some new ones this afternoon go out and have some fun you can see the road's a little bit slippy there's been some rain this week and this year's been a really wet winter in Victoria but I think it's going to come up okay because the sun's out it's warming up to 20 degrees on Monday so that'll be really cool I think the top of 16 today as well so we can't wait we're excited to be back in tatsilla so we'll bring you some action cheers Kate's got a wrecky pillow we're in the four wheel drive it's a little bit rough so that'll be handy today it's nice yeah postnates um we've got this new tracker system so we have to run that uh built a rally so let's go rally light isn't it yeah we got our trip meter there um I zero that here and then all my numbers on the steering wheel uh so we'll show you some of that as well and then we've already got our Pace notes um from last year on robot [Music] thank you [Music] welcome to Highfield so I finished wrecking yesterday we did four stages where we had the notes already and then we went and did those Sunday stages wrote the three of them we're excited the sun's out it's absolutely Blue Sky if you look around which is really cool and the car's looking great behind me here and there's a few little changes this event not too much to have changed the dorm area you can see the old mirror it's like an Open Wheel one and kept coming loose and falling down so we've got one on there now from demon tweaks um we've also got the Hoosier tires we've got to run them because we're part of the arc this weekend so never driven on them in this car before we drove on them rally Canberra in the R5 which was actually finally just over there so that's a bit sad to see but if you come over check out the car Kate's just doing a seat fitting I actually did a seat mold for this rally because I was a little bit uncomfortable some of the last rallies so we'll see how that goes um you excited Kate yeah yeah you checking belts yep we're nearly ready to go um please see how we go four stages in service cheers then we check on the gauge a little bit more foreign [Music] four three two one go 180. turn for that short hook 20 pair pin right narrow [Applause] into six left hook up surface [Music] then don't six right 150. six left Titans medium ruts fifty [Applause] six rides Narrows Titans then six left Narrows [Applause] then seven right short opens into seven right opens boost to left Crest eight right forty six left entry [Applause] [Music] yep move to right brow eight left medium into seven height medium over press at 50. eight minus right fast down 150. eight right opens medium tightens five fifteen quite inspired here 50. [Music] eight lift Titan seven minus opens Titans then eight left on Sharp press jump 30 a plus right breaking 50. the six minus right open six feet [Music] in the first stage of the second stage [Music] okay Road sorry keep breaking for six right minus Titans stop before the grid good job good job check out someone's GoPro I thought you might have oh why they had it there yep I was like oh I can't miss that now it's too late whoops I hope it wasn't one of mine [Music] foreign foreign [Music] [Music] 's actually broken so I was lucky to get back to service Mark's just welding it up now so look if we if we run out of time we'll just have to fix it later on but we think we're going to get it fixed so it's going to be tight this is a bit of a crowd pleaser this thing what's it like to drive it's as much fun as it looks on the outside oh it's like having a wrestling match although yeah I'm sure I think I'm all over the place that's my first time at the who's used on the car so trying to get a set up and work some tires foreign [Music] actually cracked separated so it had quite a lot of steering locked to the right but we're getting through the car's handling a bit all over the place so try and find a setup but really we're just focused on fixing that control arm getting back out in the stages to do the four same stages again attack really slippery as well so yeah it's a challenge [Music] [Applause] surface 50. [Applause] I'm right in two five left wide exit into seven right foot eighty [Music] six left then nine right Titans like him into six plus let's switch we can do eight right short hook into a left short fast over Crest into seven plus left bumpy to nine right short into seven left up into eight right here Titans short on very long pressed into nine left 100 nine right for early into nine miners left into ten right short one hundred which [Music] they're gonna switch I was sure of course we see fireplace [Music] right Titans 30 flying finish eight lift opens up 15 . nine left short but I'm kind of stuff good job felt like the rear left now he fell off but yeah just snapped so I just slip it like it just doesn't grip does it in the rear yeah I just thought that like at a bent or something more serious that was eight seconds faster I pressed 40. slippy nine left Titans very long then switch nine right dip 50 five right hook over long brow 200. foreign [Applause] don't exit [Music] finish the end of day one I think we're in eighth place in the arc haven't checked the VRC yet those cars have just been rolling in now um so yeah we earlier the rear left control arm had snapped or cracked we patch that up welded up a service I went back out with a lot of Towing in Canberra so that just was what it was here's Darla look and um yeah we got through the day so we're happy with that we've got some skinnier 185 who's used to try on the rear uh tomorrow because we're just not getting the re-attraction and the rear drive shaft had popped out a little bit as well so it's quite Snappy sometimes so that explains a few things it's good to find those things at service so beautiful weather hopefully tomorrow is the same only five stages and 48ks so we can't wait foreign [Music] [Music] service yeah we've made some changes from yesterday just trying to get the car to work on the Hoosiers put a 185 on the rear to try that we always run the 185 on the in the prowley GM and that works well um yeah we've got some good footage from yesterday the rear arm if you come over here we actually welded that up yesterday you can see just in under there we had to weld it up so we're lucky to find that and we got a lot of um Tow and Camber that we had to drive with in the afternoon but we've adjusted that now just by eye it actually doesn't look too bad we run quite a lot of Towing on the rear steering wheel seems pretty straight so that's good um yeah two stages 15 minute service brag along I think it is then two stages and finish with the power stage so it's gonna be a tricky day the first stage is like super rough narrow and Technical like roads are probably do you think that started rallying on at Mount Paul Punker and things like that nothing I've rallied on for years has been like that so it's going to be interesting to see how the arc cars go with it as well a little Dotson hopefully likes it six rights 40 bumpy five plus left into seven right short in two four left short fifty six left breaking thirty four left medium opens Thirty we're eating two plus rides [Music] then five rides before right through Creek into Rock Creek slippy better this morning [Music] uh we're at the service after two stages Sunday morning uh just getting something to eat it's been pretty tricky this morning uh the first one was really twisty lots of corners and second stage what do you want darling the second stage was really fast and really challenging but I loved it and we pulled a fair bit of time I think on Ryan's that's good maybe nine miners left long brow nine left over brow into seven right dip Titans up 40. six left Titans then six miners left don't eighty [Music] straight Crest 28 left 40 cautions six rights Titans very narrow middle dip 10 left small brow dip nine left up long brow nine left over then double brow we'll break six left in short dip into six right up into eight left to five right opens on brow 50. nine left opens flat brow to nine right up straight for hell twenty seven left Thirty thirty five we decided to find our rear tires to go out in the same size this afternoon let's try and use the other Edge I've done a ride height change file and a bit of toe on the front um the Skins are on the rear was much better than yesterday with the bigger tire so that's a good sign and having that rear arm fix with a bit of toes good too so same stages again now and then the e-road power stage so it was just like [Music] okay [Music] [Music] thank you [Music] a minus right for a dip 150. [Music] 9 right 80 portion eight left hook mud inside narrow 40. seven right into nine leftover brow breaking 40 turn two minus left foreign [Music] [Laughter] [Music] four left opens go six right left 120 eight right then eight left right into seven plus left into seven playing the minor stripe medium what is that seven seven Forty Nine left short into ten left then turn right short you do eight left medium breaking tighten to lose six narrow then nine miles left into five right [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Liam and eight left opens 10 minus left short brow into six left [Music] and turn the right left short into giant right or the brow 40 tier seven right here in the flying finish nine right eighty eight right well done just that slippery Corner we couldn't get going yeah yeah Restless good well done we got through good work good stuff [Music] that was my car a bit sad hey guys so we finished the rally and Jackson's here it's actually really straight which is awesome better day today I was really happy with the setup we made a few changes uh we got through in sixth um because the Harry's difficulties yesterday and then we actually passed Ryan Williams today before he had his troubles so that was pretty cool we had a really good fight it was a shame to see him go out with a broken steering arm uh but I was just cool to do some rallying again get out been a while since we've done Vega I did that American trip that was awesome so thanks to the team Mark um Cass Phil and Kate an awesome drive back on Pace notes it was a lot of fun um also yeah Ian and Brad for the tune in the engine and the setup that worked really hard looking forward to getting back out and yeah the Hollinger gearbox was Sensational as well I was really enjoyed driving that the sound of the car people have really loved to Cheers [Music]
