hi this is Lee from quartz insulation a lot of people ask me why do we need an attic fan so the attic fan will exhaust the heat from your attic during the summer it's going to be at about 150 to 140 degrees over here in the attic and guess what sitting here is the AC unit if the AC unit need to cool off air on 150 degrees everything will work harder and the AC will keep pumping air so what do we do first of all we clean everything we air seal all the gaps between the living space and the conditioned air at the conditioned space and the attic and then we'll install the attic fan where the thermostat and when we gonna set the thermostat to work on 100 degrees the fan will kick in and once the fan kick in we're gonna have an air tunnel coming from there all the way here keeping this unit on a constant 100 degrees instead of 150 degrees dramatically reducing the stress on the unit the air that flows through the ducts won't flow through 150 degrees it will flow through 100 degrees so whatever the unit cools here and whatever coming out of your vent in the room would pretty much be the same temperature compared to calling the air for 75 or 78 degrees and having it out in your room about 82 to 85 degrees this is the second floor unit and the complaint was that during the summer it's very very hot during the winter it's very very cold so the air seal we're going to put proper insulation and the the attic fan will keep this unit cool and it will work automatically it set it and forget it if you need anything click below call us find the link and we'll talk to you soon layout from quartz insulation thank you
