At The Range With The JTS AK Style 12 Gauge Shotgun

today I'm out here with a jts aka variant 12-gauge shotgun you might say what's a jts shotgun these are something new that Academy has just come out with we're going to give it a try today it it's got your standard aka type controls on it your safety bolt gas system and also like the a K now on this particular rifle it has a set screw right here on the front - just our gas it has three settings or four settings it has a zero which is completely manual and then a one two and three - to let more or less gas through to help it cycle and today what we're going to be using are some inexpensive rounds we didn't buy the book we're didn't buy the full packs but what we bought were several different types and we're trying to winchester super x2 it remington just regular Remington game roll loads regular federal game loads and then some suprema now all these foxes were under $6 a box so they're inexpensive rounds we're going to give this thing a whirl it comes with a five round mag it comes with two five round mags and we're going to give it a try they snap in pretty decent and easy so we're going to go ahead and give this thing world see how it works as I say I it's brand new to me and still see it has the tag on it so we're going to get out here and see how this thing works next up is the federal we've got five of them in here that's the other side last one failed to fully get into chamber so we got four out of five on that one last one didn't fully chamber okay first off we're gonna try some Remington these are the game loads let's see how this thing goes hey now I'd say this gun is fairly new the Remington the first one kind of kind of choked on us but we're going to go ahead and type up through the rest of these and see how they do the last four did fine so we're going to hopefully we're breaking this gun in and okay next step is the supreme' let's see how they do all five of those went okay next up is the winchester super air we had a failure to feed on this one okay we had a fairy repeat on the first one it on the star on the second one when we went to feed it kind of buggered up the shell so we got four out of five on this one so right now it looks like we like the Suprema and the Federals did okay the room attuned to meet did okay about that there's a brand new gun so you got understand and it could take a little bit more to get it to shoot and say this first time out with this gun you saw the first always might maybe had thirty rounds through it forty rounds so it's still really new and still kind of tight so you
