hi come on down come on in make yourself comfortable let me show you through the house this is my home let me come on over with me here take a little pan around the house these are paintings that I've been doing all my life come on and let me show you so you can see that's the way oh and here is my favorite lobster man from Mars huh look at that guy's featuring the producer the scientist the Private Eye it's it's really an amusing film do you know it was simple and we got right to the point in and made it to a look I haven't seen it for a wife now let me see now who else was in it Oh Stanley are you here Stanley Oh Stanley you directed it oh that's why you look familiar all right well come on let's talk about the lobster band from Oz here as we do in let me show you a couple of this is not the lobster man for Mars this is anybody else you'd like to be and here is a painting of mine that I it like a lot can you see it here okay Stanley let's go to where my studio is okay well good we'll go there you'll get a chance to see what my goods are like come on now this is outdoors shut up shut up this is outdoors in Las Vegas that's a seeing a little haze today but that's the done that's downtown Las Vegas I'll show you my studio so these are my goods those boxes that you see up there are assemblages and collages that I make other than the paintings and that way I'm able please I'm able to kind of maintain myself because I find it a very creative and appealing experience for me to do this let me I'll just show you one or two of them as way I'll give you an idea if not abstract they're somewhat surrealistic you know making that movie was a lot of fun it was a rush it was a interesting and somewhat abstract approach to a moviemaking you know and the idea that you had that lobster man for Mom movies made by that kid which fit and blended itself so effortlessly into the the movie part of our movie so it was a movie fitting in a movie I found that very appealing I like that about movies I like movies that I get a little been doing a little different approach to it and lobster man from ours dead it wasn't released or properly sold in theaters there wasn't enough money or whoever did the distributing but it's now it doesn't make any difference don't you see Stanley once a movie is made it's successful into perpetuity that's what it says in our contracts a thousand years from now lufs the man from Oz will still be around and people say take a look at what people look like a thousand years ago that's what happens to movies there's some great great movies that are been made over the years including our lobster man from ours you know that for a while sneak around you don't see them and then all of a sudden Here Come DVD you know and people gettin up what you need to buy it and it is a funny movie you know it's I remember that lobster stuff was too funny it was just too funny lobster man from Oz has an audience will have an audience forever and that's what I appreciate and that's what I like so much about it that's why I like to be here with you today to talk about a movie like that which seemed when it was made somewhat obscure but it's not obscure there are no movies made obscure you know there isn't a movie that's made that it was made just for for people it may start out looking like that but eventually our eyes let us see a lot of things and if the situation in the circumstance and make it possible for you to see it then you do lobster band had a nice run at the beginning you know it had it it and that made me feel good how many years ago was it now 14 14 oh my god well I'm getting younger I don't know how I'm doing it but whatever I'm doing I'm going to continue to do 14 years ago the lobster man from NAS and here we are Stanley sitting here talking to each other and talking about that movie I don't know I'm full of joy and happiness thinking about that movie we made Stanley you know was it was such a personal experience you know it was another movie to be made and that's what made me feel good you know in my hundreds of movies I made overall in 20 30 movies by now and out of that group there's our lobster man fromage sitting next to some like it hot and spark and the Manitou and the whole flow a woman or two you know these are all part of a career in all part of my life and so I look at each one of these films with great affection and I'd feel that I've contributed in that sense to my profession you know when I got that material when you found me Stanley and we talked about it I loved it you know it was a movie being made at the time called lobster bon fromage we had no delusions illusion about we were doing so you look at the movie you look at the way those scenes play you're looking the way it combines itself it really has a pace and a a tempo that makes it the work so listen I love lobster band from ours fact ever since that movie I've stopped eating lobsters and restaurants had the thought of breaking off one of those claws and the beginning source is something I cannot do anymore with a straight face you
