You can see at 0:28 him putting the card under the watch.
I hate to ruin this guy's trick but I was really into magic as a kid and I know how the first trick is done. Or at least the most important aspect of it. I actually own a version of this trick that I bought years ago. It's basically a trick deck (or in this case possibly two decks). The cards in the deck have this special coating on the backs that make them stick to the backs of other cards if fanned out with a good amount of pressure. Either side of the deck (top or bottom) has face-up cards because they are all facing out due to them all being placed back-to-back. My version had the magician memorize a "buddy card" that corresponded to the mark's selected card based on a special odd/even suit/suit orientation as to avoid looking too obvious to the audience. Once the buddy card was spotted while fanning out the deck, you would release pressure which would allow the card stuck the back to slide out from behind. Since this trick involved blank cards, I'm assuming this guy had at least two different decks in which he memorized each card's position. Unfortunately for him, Ellen picked one of the first cards so it took away from the element of surprise a bit. It's a good trick but it's pretty "off-the-shelf" for a magician performing on tv.
Cool.
For the last trick, you can see that he's using a special card that has the Queen on one side, and the Four on the other side. Look at this motion as he flips it over: https://youtu.be/7K6qtxJEdzQ?t=3m57s
No matter how he does it - still a great trick
How he does what? All great and classic magic moves. No gimmicks.
Not sure about the last one, but the first 2 are fairly classic tricks. One involves a special deck with cards doubled and in order; cards are stuck together in pairs and, knowing the order, the magician can separate the right one so it's facing up. The second trick was mostly forcing a card; there are many ways to do that, and the card was placed beforehand, as someone pointed out before.
Absolute coincidence, but I thought 4 of clubs aswell.
The first trick is using an altered pack of cards called an 'invisible deck'. It's incredibly easy to use and you can buy it for $10 on amazon. His deck is a modified version (where it has blank cards) but still exactly the same principle.
