[Music] hi everyone welcome to the visual guide for aspardellus the fourth circle this is the fourth new raid made available by patch 6.01 in final fantasy 14 and walker this fight can sure be a pain in the neck but no need to cause a scene you don't have to fight ballon because my name is misstek and i'll be your raid guide elegant evisceration will target the primary tank with a heavy hitting tank buster cool down and heal when the boss casts setting the scene his cloak will fall over a quadrant of the platform and eventually turn that area into a specific element the boss will then cast pin x which will form a pillar in the center of the arena and activate the elemental quadrant which you can see by the active quadrant circle in this case we have a lightning quadrant soon after the lightning quadrant will explode and proximity based damage will occur from the center to handle this players will need to move to the edges of the arena when spinax is cast decollation will deal high rate wide damage healers be ready the next setting the scene will form a watery quadrant this pinax cast will knock back all players from the center of the arena players will need to stand close to the center away from the affected quadrant or use the knockback immunity to avoid getting punted into the wall hell skier will have the boss turning towards a random player and casting a long line attack in that direction players will need to move out from in front of the boss any time they see him turn the next scene setting will have three quadrants affected one lightning one water and one acid the pinx cast here will activate one quadrant at a time and players will have to quickly identify which one before adjusting as necessary to handle the incoming mechanic lightning in water will be handled in the same manner as earlier acid will require all players to spread apart to avoid overlapping the incoming attacks make sure you avoid any health skewer cast during this time as well blood rake will deal high raid wide damage and allow the boss to absorb aether causing his sword to glow the lone coils will form four circles around the center each with a roll marker on them each circle will require at least one player to stand in them appropriately or they will explode if you look closely you'll notice that the roll markers on each circle have a red x on them meaning that players of that role cannot stand in the circles and satisfy the requirements to handle this players will need to stand in a circle that does not match their own role eventually the boss will move to the center hold out his cloak and sword and cast a directional shift depending on which direction this cast is a pillar will appear at the same edge players will need to look at the boss or the pillar to determine what attack is incoming if the sword is glowing or if you notice a sword on the pillar at the edge a large cleave attack will occur towards the center of the room and players will have to stand on the side of the pillar to avoid getting hit if the cloak is glowing or a cloak is on the pillar at the edge a knockback will occur from that pillar and players will have to use a knockback immunity or position themselves next to the pillar towards the center of the room to avoid getting pushed into the wall another bloodray cast and the boss will then cast balone bursts eight orbs with specific role assignments will form around the outer edge of the arena that will eventually tether and move towards their players these orbs will explode on contact with a player and deal lethal damage if they are of the same role to handle this players will need to pop orbs that are not the same role as them each or pop will debuff players with thrice come ruin meaning they will only be able to pop a maximum of two orbs before they are afflicted with doom and die as soon as the roll orb tethers are formed players can move in to pop the appropriate orbs the next scene set will have all four quadrants affected the newest quadrant is lava and players will need to stack together when this quadrant is activated to share the incoming damage during this time players will also have to deal with an overlapping health skewer and a set of roll coil circles once all four quadrants have activated the platform will return to normal and the encounter will resume at this point all of these mechanics will repeat until the boss is down if you have any questions or comments please let me know see you in savage as always thanks for watching till next time
