so this is the first Christmas that I'll spend with my boyfriend and I went to buy him a gift but I'm not sure how much to spend I feel that if I spend too much he will be spoiled or expect to be spoiled if I don't spend enough he may consider me cheap it may lose a little interest so what should I lose a little interest let me ask you something how long you been dating this guy it's been about ten months ten months you seem like a grown woman I am you're not you do not a child not at all so where is this relationship going I'm hoping that it will it is progressing well where is it going hopefully to more of a commitment let me stop you right here lady don't worry about the Christmas gift letting let me just give you some basics about men number one I I'm assuming you're over 30 good assumption good yeah you've been dating a man for 10 months and you a mature woman this has to be going somewhere you don't have time for a boyfriend we're too old for boyfriends boy your boyfriend stopped in college after that there's got to be bout something so if you want this to be about something find out where it's going if you've been with him for ten months here's what I suggest you do for Christmas guilt it ain't how you impress him it's really how he impress you by safe guilt get him a little shirt or something what you really got to be concerned about is what he gonna get you that's right see now you find out the level of commitment that a man would eat good shoot that's what you want to do let me tell you right now a man's gifts say a lot about how he feel about
