Assalamu Alaikum, welcome to GFXMentor. I'm your teacher Imran. In Illustrator, I didn't expect artificial intelligence. But it's here! Generative Fill, like it was in Photoshop, has come to Illustrator. Now you can generate vector artworks by clicking the prompt of text! So c'mon let's start! (🥴) Alright welcome back. So in Illustrator finally you've got artificial intelligence. And it didn't come slightly. Came pretty bombastic! That means you can generate artwork by giving the prompt of text. Of course, it's in beta version currently. But that doesn't need to download separately. Your Illustrator, the new version, as soon as you update, this feature will appear. So let's see the screen. So first of all, I have simply made a rectangle here. As soon as you select it, you get the contextual taskbar below. It's exactly the same as in Photoshop. And now you see it in Illustrator. Now upon selecting, on the contextual bar Generate Beta is written. If I click on it... Okay here if you notice, I generated a camera icon last time. Let me remove it nonetheless. But before that, I'd like to show one more thing. That is, here in the property bar written "Text-to-Vector graphics (Beta)". And some options below. If you go to the window and see here, the same option. Simply click it and it'll appear here. That's the same thing, no big difference. Okay, it's not necessary that you type here. You can type in this too. Or you can type here too. (😁) First of all I'll generate some easier things here. Let me show y'all. Let's say I generate a flower here. As you click, it'll take a little time. And then it'll create a flower. Just like the GenFill of Photoshop. Takes a while. And then you get three options. Exactly, you'll get those options here too. So this is a flower generated. And only one comes. Now note that all three flowers are made with pink colour. Why so? If you look carefully, the text on the top is of this same colour! But if you don't want any colour on any images, notice here this button that says "Match Active Artboard Style". Of course, I didn't want this, so I'll turn it off. And then, here I generate again. So definitely there'll be some difference. This time pink won't appear. So now we have different options. Now look at another thing here, above here there's "Subject". And then there's Scene, Icon, Pattern. Let's stick to the subject right now. I'm writing here "A cute puppy" and generate. As you see I typed here. You can also write in the contextual bar below. So these are our cute puppies generated. And trust me, these are all vector! You can check via Ctrl+Y. All the vector lines are visible. So these are vectors. But I want my puppies to have the colours I want. For example, here you see this artwork. Pretty colorful, and it's a raster image. On the contextual bar here's this button given. A style picker. Click on it once, then click on that image. Now what happens is, this style will be picked up from this image and create that same puppy. The previous prompt still written. Choose Generate Beta. Now hopefully our puppy will be colourful like that. Wow! Now we have some of the artworks with that style. I really like this one! (😍) And I hope you've understood the power already. (😃) Let's move a little further. Look here we selected the Subject. You can generate the entire scene if you want. Here I've made another rectangle. Currently I wanna create a scene. Do one thing. If you don't want the same style, naturally, then I'll turn off this button here. So here I've typed "Lake with mountains in background", I've selected Scene from here. And I turned off "Match Active Artboard Style". Do generate. See this! You get three options. And I like this first one. Now I wanna create a boat inside this. Okay? I put a box right here. Here I wanna type something else. But do be careful and notice here what you've selected. Now I'm picking Subject. Make sure to remove the previous descriptions, if written. I mostly prefer to generate from here. Because if you type below previously, sometimes something else is here. It becomes a mess! So now here I'm typing "A sailboat". And Subject I've taken with Match Active Artboard Style. And generate. So what happens is according to this scene's colours and types, a boat will be created. Excellent! (😁) This was the scene and subject. And then we have another option called Icon. Come here, choose Icon, type anything you like. For example "Honey bee". And of course, keep that Match Active off. Here three options appear again. I like this one. (🐝) So, these are the logo-type icons, you can create easily. If to do something else, for example, watch... ...logo. So basically these are the icons it made. Pretty weird. Now of course, it's the Beta version. There are some problems persisting. Lastly, one of THE best thing- Pattern! If you wish to generate, then first pick Patterns here, and type here. So, here I've simply selected fruits. Okay if you look down here, there's an option called Colour Control. Now, what kind of preset do you want? B&W; Muted colours; Cool tones; Vibrant colours; Pastel colours... I want pastel colours. Generate. These are our fruits patterns. And they look so fantastic! By the way, this pattern is not just one artwork and finished right here. If expanding, it's properly patterned and already even added in the swatches! So if you come to swatches, here are your patterns that are created. This is so amazing. Just mind-blowing! (🤩) Let's make another- "Space, universe, sci -fi". Let's see what happens. Oh ho! This is good! (😱) Truly amazing! Just observe! So I believe that life is getting easier. Don't be afraid of AI. I repeat again, don't be afraid of AI. It has arrived to make your life so easier.
