Ariana Greenblatt On Her Boba Obsession & Make-Up Hack For Hiding Nerves | Getting Ready With | ELLE

Alan knows I love blush on what my nose he knows me it was not planned it wasn't planned out of everything that was not planned hi I'm Ariana Greenblatt and I'm getting ready for Elle's Hollywood Rising event come with me [Music] I'm getting ready for Elle's Hollywood Rising event it's weird because I'm one of the honorees and I'm really excited so I can't wait to see all the other honorees and hang out with them and my peers and it's really cool that I get to celebrate everyone's passion altogether the event is right downstairs so it's a little nerve-wracking for me because it's so close but I'm mentally preparing and it's going to be fun [Music] so I'm honored to be dressed by Ralph Lauren I get to wear this really pretty red slip dress and it's actually my favorite color and I've never worn that color before so I'm very excited in regards for hair and makeup I have my beautiful wonderful team that love me so much I don't know where she just ran away from me it's fine she doesn't love me it's okay this is Alan and this is Kylie she's actually my date because she's my best friend and here's Ruby um so my team knows me really well and it's really easy and exciting to get ready with them because I basically show them what I'm wearing and they're like I know exactly what you want they're really good at collaborating and make sure I feel really confident and nice so that's fun thanks you guys you're welcome as for the hair I kind of wanted it to replicate how my hair naturally looks on a daily which is kind of longer because I love having long hair I just wanted it to be really effortless kind of natural hair look and then for makeup kind of same thing I wanted something natural and pretty pretty chill but I love having my eyes to look like cat eyes so Alan's doing little lashes to make it look like that and then just dewy skin some blush like how my cheeks feel like red when I'm like nervous that's how I want to look so like it covers the fact that I will be nervous the whole night um I love the getting ready process more than literally everything like it's so therapeutic to me and it's also like I get to tell them my entire life in the little updates because I see them a lot but like a week goes by and I'm like guys I have a lot to tell you so take a little therapy session I really enjoy it and then I also have always loved like watching people get ready so that's also what I do this is one of my first getting ready is that it was actually going to be public but I make them a lot at my house alone on a private Tech Talk account acting like anyone's gonna ever see it so this moment is really cool for me because I've been doing this since I was like nine years old so it's kind of fun foreign so my must-haves for getting ready is gonna have to be Boba at all times no way it's here right on time thanks so much wow um so I have Boba maybe every day um it's kind of my entire personality at this point I'm shocked I don't have my own like Boba shock um it's in the works it's not but it will be now because I said it I saw that it has like many boba pearls and I've never tried that before and I thought what better time um [Laughter] that's so Buzz stop I'm serious I'm a connoisseur [Music] let's see for getting ready I always have music on blasting music whatever the vibe is or I have done this quite a few times at home when I get ready I uh play like little cartoon movies oh yeah my dad has a big record player downstairs and he usually plays really great music but sometimes he plays like the heaviest rock metal possible and I'm like what this is a lot I'm like over stimulated so I'm like thanks Dad maybe we'll Play Deftones another day blush is actually one of my favorite makeup products to use I've always loved blush I love layering blush and Alan knows I love blush on what my nose he knows me the eyes are done this is the eye look I'm really happy with it so I'm running out of the house and I choose one thing I'm gonna say Aquaphor I have Aquaphor on at all times it's like my Holy Grail literally for my birthday they were like what do you want for your birthday and I asked for just tubs of Aquaphor also um lip liner I'm the biggest lip liner girl ever a lot of my friends always do like lip gloss but I'm a lip liner girl till the day I die for my outfit tonight I looked at the rack and I was going through all of the the pieces that they pulled and I was like I don't know how I'm gonna pick so I tried on like three or four looks and it's really just like the color that Drew my attention because I love like the vampire red that it is but if I could I would have like three outfit changes in the night and I literally said that I was like can I like switch in the middle and they're like unfortunately not okay so the Glam is done time to go put on my look [Music] this is the final look thank you so much for getting ready with me and I'll see you there [Music]
