is this so-called drummer boy quarter rare and valuable as people say it is stay tuned to find out the truth [Music] my name is Daniel and you're watching coin helped you thanks for watching my latest video I know a lot of you have heard about what's called the drummer boy quarter which I showed you this quarter is actually a Bicentennial quarter it is 1776 to 1976 and they released 1.6 billion of these in the circulation they were also in the 1975's clad Proof Set the 1976 s clad purse set as well as minted in 40% clad and these proof sets here Bicentennial proof sets here in these 1976 Bicentennial proof sets here as well as in these sets right here none of these are rare none of these are extremely valuable the 40 percent silver do have value I mean those sets can sell for fifteen to thirty dollars depending on who you buy from also the thing of it is is that these though these were clad 1.6 billion of them and they're very common and 7 1976 75 was their Bicentennial of United States of America and everybody hoarded these they're who knows how many are been hoarded so we're gonna also take a look at some things online and actually what they've sold for to so this is what happens people have this quarter that never seen before because it was you know 47 years ago that they actually came out and they look up a quarter with a drummer boy on the back which is actually a man but suffice it to say that's what they type in and they see this right here an Etsy ad for $750 or an ebay ad for $40.00 you know or they see just something like this even off Poshmark okay and then they come down here and they see these videos okay and these videos are talking about ones that have sold for thousands of dollars well the problem is is they're not realizing that what those videos are telling you I mean first off these videos prices are wrong okay but what these videos are telling you is this right here one that great admit state 67 or one of them that is a double die okay that's where those values come from yeah don't make them any mistake about it you can never hear two pieces just coin facts and you can find out exactly what these are what these are sold for in the past and what grade they have to be so they actually have to be in a holder they can't just be a coin you finding your change and it's worth thousands of dollars it don't work like that and not all of them are double dies and even if you did find a circulated example look there's no prices for circulated here $4 for a 63 and that has to be in a piece Jess hold of the newer form up so with all that being said this is what they actually sell for you can see a hundred and twenty of them three rolls sold for $46 a roll is $10 face so you can do the math on how much that was for each one you can come down here and and find an example of one it sold for a dollar fifty with free shipping well the person have to take time take the picture they had to pay fees and then they had to pay shipping for that coin now so they made a few cents on it you would have to sell hundreds of them to even make it worth it and there's not hundreds of them being sold on here I mean there's 148 sold auctions for drama boy quarter I know I can put in Bicentennial and probably get more results but look here you can buy rolls up and here's on a roll of 40 for 20 bucks I mean you can see how much they're selling for they have a small premium because people have it in their minds that they're worth a lot of money and that's fine if you're collecting you need it for your collection you want to pay a little bit more for them that's not a problem but don't think that are extremely rare and don't pay hundreds of dollars for more don't pay you know several dollars for okay that's one of the things that people make the mistake of doing they come over here they look you know various reasons why people will pay for a world that's not searched maybe maybe they think there might be a double Diana Scrolls there's all various different reasons why somebody would collect or pay more for these just so they can get it look at this this is a four hundred coins this is a hundred otter bank seal back and it's sold for you know a good amount of money a bank bag could have errors in it or variety in it so people are gonna pay a little more for it but you just put up a quarter just like this and this is only gonna go for a minimal amount of money and something else that I want to address and I'm not saying any eBay seller is doing this that we're selling the derma blue quarters or anything else for that matter but there is a chance that there might be some of these sellers that are actually selling stuff cheap like that just to gain feedback positive feedback to account for the negative feedback because your feedback percentage and how much you have as far as a hundred percent ninety eight percent or whatever is calculated by a formula by eBay not only that there are some programs that once you pay through PayPal they actually get your email address and can put it on a mailing list so you've got to think of this kind of things as well whenever you're on eBay and you're buying something that for a little bit more than what you could probably get in hand if you went to a coin show or a coin shop or even get it in your pocket change so I just want to say I've got six of these and this is one of them here's the rest of them I have they're in our change their mmm barely circulated they might even be the other just barely circulated pretty close sliders I'd say a e58 and they were in our change that we're going to spend if you want one and you're not believing what I'm telling you on this video just comment that you want one on my video and the first six people to do that I will send it to you for free that you have to pay shipping shipping is anywhere from three to three fifty and it will do the PayPal thing and I'll send you out the coin that way you can have one for your collection and know that as a dealer I'm telling you the truth and being honest and this is the facts you know I mean if that's the way it has to be because I'm not telling you this because I'm a dealer and I want to tell you your coins are worth less that's just not how I do this I'm telling you the truth so you don't ever pay for something the bottom line is is that I had a friend of mine at least the son of a friend of mine and I got acquainted with his son and he sent me a message on Facebook and he was like man what's up with these dumb recorders I see him going for all this money and people are trying to sell them and he said man I want to get one for my collection what do I do I told him I told him what I'm telling you guys and he's this video they're not worth that much you can find them you can find them in your change eventually or you can go to a dealer and ask them do they have one most I'm will give them to you for face value or maybe charge a dollar for it so anyways thanks for watching my latest video please like share and comment and have a great day
