After coming from various sports cars, but starting to grow up (needing room for kids, dogs, bike and camping gear) the CX-5 with the 2.5T was the choice for me. Had it for 6mo and super happy with it.

Might not be the same as my sports cars but still has some fun and I think it looks amazing. As he said Mazda sometimes sacrifices sight lines for design. While it might not be for everyone it’s the right recipe for me.

My spouse traded in our 2 yr old Subaru Crosstrek for a CX-5 last year, she really, really disliked the Subie's CVT shifting behavior. Complaints about unending CVT reliability issues frightened her, too. She's really pleased with her 2018 Touring CX-5, has more room, more power, smooth 8 spd shifting, better ride, too.
