Cool video. I particularly enjoyed the part about the role of neuroglia. I couldn't help but imagine two "engines", one electrical and one chemical, working together to create a well rounded experience. It also seems that studying glial activity will be key in modeling the power efficiency of the brain.
This isn't the first time I've heard of glia, but it is the first time that it was presented to me in such a way that it seems integral. Can anyone provide the names of other researchers on this track or perhaps link some videos for further enrichment?
