"Lichen" has never represented the mood of death to me. It's very comforting, like an embracing hug or an understanding ear. Sometimes, even as the video suggests, Lichen reminds me of something as peaceful as clouds.
Death? No way! But this is what makes ambient music so amazing. Hi-five for abstract.
This, Rhubarb and Red Calx[slo] are 3 of Richard's most relaxing songs. They have the power to just wipe other emotions off of you.
One of my favourite tracks of all time. Usually my music taste kinda depends on my mood (sometimes i don't feel like listening to anything at all), but no matter in what situation I am, this track (and others from SAW II) always manages to calm me down and look at things from the bright side. It simply never gets old.
Oh Aphex, you crazy ginger genius.
This is incredible.
Which track number is this?
Best song to listen to in the morning when the sun rises.
Cliffs, mid-day
Rhubarb, when the sun sets
Stone in focus when it's 2am and you're the only one awake
Forever one of my favourite ambient tracks of all time. Goes for a lot of RDJ's ambient work as well.
I've been stuck on this stupid problem with this work project I'm on all day... like it's logic completely escapes me on how to code it [somewhat efficiently] and I've been staring at my laptop screen nearly all day, as a result, massive headache... and I don't know if it's because of the short break I took or this song or maybe the combination of the two, but I think I may have cracked my problem. I don't know yet, coz it's all pseudocode still (too lazy to go code it and see if it works), but I hope it does.
I feel this represents the mood of a beautiful morning, not death.
