good morning ladies and gentlemen some honor to open this enter to the trade fair for manufacturers and traders in diamonds so this is the second edition of the diamond fair and it's a great success as you can see like most businesses and industries in the world we're in a hyper competitive world and although as we know we've been in Antwerp for over 500 years that in no way guarantees our future so this initiative will be an 12 meets Antwerp manufacturers and traders fair it's part of a rolling strategy to make our mark and raise our visibility and exposure worldwide it is a great opportunity to meet new clients you know I mingle a little bit in the market meets people from different countries as well and to do some trade so this is what to describe the diamond business that is was fifteen forty thirty years ago so I agree that today more than ever there is a need for a platform to be recreated to give the opportunity between buyers and sellers to come together and to make business and there's a coach from Einstein who said I fear that if technology over past human interaction we have a generation of Ages so don't be idiots and let's go back to some basics so this particular Fair is a way of getting the Antwerp there the amount s to step up to the plate to be more active more visible to become members of the bosses and to join in on what is going to be perhaps more than the initiative of a month but many more initiatives the city of Antwerp a facilitating role so they're very happy to see Simon's activity again maybe we can do it once a month I think this is a an amazing opportunity for people to come together I think it's a very good initiative because so it's a very good Sanyal when we give to the customers all around the world the three key words that characterize the Android diamond industry are trust the quality of life in our city and the unique atmosphere on the floor of the bosses
