I love how she states everything so matter-of-factly. "this implies that women are...." "This creates a fantasy for..." How the fuck do you know what goes through my head when I play a video game? How incredibly stupid and arrogant. I am glad to see thunderf00t took the time to show that you can conjure up this type of feminist critique on anyone you want, so you can demonize any opponent you have and instantly poison the well. Anita Sarkeesian has about as much of a chance of being killed by an enraged gamer.... not a man mind you, as no chauvinists are mad at her, just gamers.... as I have of being killed by a great white shark.

Some one should send all the "tropes" in Whedon's movies to his twitter in response to him.

Playing the victim while telling people that women aren't victims. I just don't get her. But hey, its getting her sponsorship. Step two is to burn all video games. Its a bit like burning books. And nothing bad ever came from burning books.

I am impressed with the magnitude of ignorance she displays with her know-nothing tone and how she points out the misogyny of representing a whorehouse digitally. I guess in her version of history, women have always had equal rights, or else according to revisionist feminist history, we can't refer to those times.

What an ignorant dipshit.

Anyone with half a brain knows that her videos are completely cherry picked and biased. Voicing hate for this woman is just as futile as voicing hate for the Westboro Baptist Church.

The difference between Joss Whedon and many other authors who write robust female characters, and those who don't, is context. I don't follow Anita Sarkeesian, so I don't know how much she pays attention to context, but I play enough games and watch enough movies to know that the context is far from acceptable in many things.

Prominent feminists often go overboard, and the radical fringe of feminism is pretty ugly, but the correct response to bad feminism is better feminism, not false equivocation between good content and bad.

Her videos are always so stupid. Other than taking scenes out of context, she also blatantly ignores when the exact same thing she's talking about happens to men.

A woman being killed objectifies them to make the main character's story progress? The same happens to male characters in, for example, one of the games on her wall: Farcry 3. Pain, grief, and sorrow are just notoriously good motivators that many people can relate to. Bad story telling, maybe; but to call it sexist is dishonest.
