neighbors will know about it survival depends on it when one ant hill suffers defeat the other is in full swing to evacuate everybody they've spotted the army ants and are trying to save the ants most precious possessions the very ant gold that all the Invaders want to steal there's the saving of The larva taking place but they're also those who've learned to defend themselves in their own way see that hatch that's a gliding ant this hatch is actually an ant itself most often they settle in a tree taking cavities and cracks the main feature of these ants is that they have a large concave army shield which plays an important role in protecting the colony from the enemy some species also use it to Glide if they accidentally fall from a great height so when the same guard ant sounds the alarm these guys cover all entrances and exits with their heads the enemy just can't get in and as strange as it sounds a regular door is enough to protect them the thick chitanus plate like a cork closes the entrance well army ants waste no time in figuring out its construction they simply move on and Conquer some other ant hill and while we're on the subject of unusual ways of defending the Ant Hill here's a fact some of the species are even able to explode near the enemy literally here see this Army ant sacrificed itself to save the colony I don't think ants are capable of fear of course but now look at the other battlefields from above um why you can't see anything it's just a forest but only 50 years ago there was a bloody war between chimpanzees if you've watch the other videos on my channel you know that nzs are not just harmless fruit eaters at all they're cannibals who can not only hunt other primates but also exterminate entire populations by the way close relatives of humans you can tell can't you so this area of the forest was ruled by one large community of chimpanzees but then an event happened that changed their lives forever the clan split into two warring parties the groups were killed their females went missing and the Cubs were forcibly brought to the victors after the victors had completely cleared the other's territory they took possession of it just like
